Our tile roof has dropped two tiles and the edge tiles a little slipped. It's not big project, I called roof company and handyman, all has been delayed or rejected. We choose to at least get several tiles as first step to get it fix. So we went to wait roofing bone yard and the boss there is so helpful that when their worker came, he offered to fix our roof. Do NOT use these guys. They replaced my roof and did not put my skylights back on properly. When I phoned them to tell them they were leaking for the first time ever, the response was we're going to charge you to fix it or you can take us to court. They nailed through my eaves and would not repair. Now I'm having my HV/AC unit replaced and they have informed me that they roofed over the old roof. DO NOT USE THEM! read more

Nice gentleman named John came out and inspected the situation and said that he would get back to me within a week. Never heard back from him. Talked to a very nice lady who said that she would give him my message. After 3 calls and getting no response over the past month from the company, I'm looking elsewhere. Wait Roofing did the roof and gutters on our brand new home. Several of our downspouts leak badly and are causing the stucco to stay wet. Our general reached out and sent photos and when they called me today they just wanted to be rude and insist they must be clogged with leaves. We have no trees on our property and there is not a single leaf in the gutters, there is however roofing debris and nails, etc. left over from their job. I asked if they could please come look into it to determine the cause of the leaks since I am not qualified to remove the downspouts and his response was "well I can but I'm going to charge you" and I will "add you to the list and come when I can after it stops raining." So apparently they 1) don't warranty their work, 2) treat customers rudely 3) melt in the rain. Isn't the best time to diagnose the issue when its raining and you can see the flow of water? read more

I have to amend my high marks for Wait Roofing. While they did a great job, the building inspector left a list of necessary steps before he would sign off on it. That was 2 months ago. His paperwork is still on my front door and none of the required additional repairs have been done. I emailed Wait Roofing three times to come and finish and haven't even received a reply let alone have the work done. So, while the overall work was well done their refusal to return and finish or even reply makes me now hesitant to recommend them. read more

I called them on the 24 and 25 of January and the women who answered the phone coudn't really give me any information, she only said that she would have someone call me back. Well I never did hear back from anyone. I guess since this company been around for so long they don't need to show any common courtesy. I hired this company to do half a roof of an apartment building in Redding, CA. I had a management company that was supposed to see that the work was done. Part of the contract states, "Remove and dispose of existing roof. Install lifetime architectural Composition over 30# felt with EZ ridge included on ridges & rakes, permit, and dumping fees included." Unfortunately the management company paid in full but the old roofing materials and debris was left on the side of the building. The work was paid for in June. I discovered the mess in August and asked the management company to contact the company. I called on Sept. 12, and was assured by the secretary that someone would come out to remove the old roofing materials. I came out on Sept. 27 and the mess was still there. I called again. No customer should be given this kind of grief. He got his money but he didn't finish doing the job as stated in the contract which means hauling away the old materials! read more

We had a leak in our roof valley and they came by, gave us an estimate but could not get to it that day. It was the peak of the rainy season and I'm sure they had plenty of other leaky roof jobs to work on. Well, my wife appealed to them and he ended up making some calls and having one of his guys come over and fix our roof after work. They did a good job and they did it quick and my wife and I appreciated it. This is a good company. read more

We paid $600 for one hours work from two men. Dan sent me a very legal contract (disclaimers, Mechanic Lien Law, etc.) to sign, which should have alerted me to look elsewhere. The contract was for 'Cleaning 60' of Valley Metal and Realign Slipped Tiles'. I cannot comment on the professional manner of the workers. I can only say that after thirty minutes the two workmen told my wife that they were finished. Knowing the cost of the contract, my wife questioned the workers who then called the office. They returned to say they would do a bit more taping. Thirty minutes later they left. I questioned Dan and he said that I had signed the contract and that was that. There was to be no renegotiated costs. When asked, Dan said he pays these particular workers $20 per hour. I then said $560 an hour profit seems excessive. We feel swindled. read more

I had this company install an attic fan on our home years ago. we developed a leak over the rainy season so in June I called to have them come out and address the leak. I was told they are really busy and it would be a couple weeks before anyone would be able to call. It's the dry season, I was fine with that. Come July, I called again, got the same story. I told them that they told me the same line of a couple weeks over a month ago. The lady said someone will get back to me. No call.... Come August I went through the exact same go around. In September I demanded to speak with the owner or I would have to resolve to a negative post. All I wanted was them to fix the install they did years ago and that I was not expecting it to be a warranty job. He did call me but did not remember the job. Said he would get back to me the following week to schedule. Three more weeks go by and I emailed him. I even told him what he looked like and the truck he was driving to remind him of the job he did years ago. And no response. I clearly will not be using them on my new construction projects with business, not my residence int he future. read more
