I'm surprised this place doesn't have 5 stars! When I was looking for a place to get my scans, I was a little anxious coming here for some reason-- i'm so glad I still decided to come here for my scans. i won't go anywhere else. I've gotten an ultrasound and ct scan on different dates. Both times I've come here, everyone was extremely kind & quick (not in a rushed way). From the front desk to the techs, they made me feel cared for and welcomed. My ultrasound tech (who i can't remember the name of unfortunately) was very kind, well spoken, patient, professional and caring. I felt very comfortable as a female patient getting a pretty uncomfortable ultrasound. My CT scan tech named Lisa was phenomenal. A day before the scan, she called me to go over everything about the steps, my history and made me feel so ready for the scan. She took her time with me on the phone and stayed on for what seemed like 30 minutes due to questions and history I had. not once did she make me feel rushed. only cared for and i felt understood. I basically felt like I was talking to a friend. She made me feel so much more at ease. When my appointment came, Lisa made me feel confident I was in great hands. She was also well spoken, smart, professional, compassionate, empathetic, everything you would want and more from someone in the medical field. I'm so grateful for her and will definitely always remember her as one of my favorite techs! (i've had a ton!) This place is lucky to have the employees I've encountered while being here. I've been getting my mammograms here for years at the Estes Road location and have consistently received excellent service. The front desk staff are friendly, check you in and get you seen quickly. The technicians are all experts at getting your scans done as quickly as possible, are very professional and ask if you're all right throughout the process. While it can be an uncomfortable procedure, their expertise makes the process go smoothly and it's over before you know it. Since Covid, I've appreciated being able to check-in online at home, being able to wait in car until tech is ready and getting into the procedure within minutes. read more

Made an appointment for a mammogram here. Arrived on time, went to go check in, and was handed an iPad. There were certain clauses that said that I needed to automatically agree to be seen by a student, have students be able to access my medical records, and that I automatically consented to my medical records being used for research. I was not OK with that. I went to the front desk that had no way of overriding the iPad system or giving me paper forms. Their privacy officer was out of office so there was no one to talk to other than the desk staff, who were lovely given the impossible situation. I know it is my lawful right to be able to refuse to participate in research and and that it illegal to punish me for saying no. However Wake Radiology's practice is punitive. I left Wake Radiology without a mammogram. Telling people they have to say yes to something that is not legally required and denying them care if they say no is legally and morally wrong. read more

I have been to Wake Radiology on Estes Drive many times over several years. Every time I was treated with courtesy and respect - whether the appointment was routine screening or urgent evaluation. Clinical and admin staff are welcoming, helpful, and thorough. My PCP strongly recommends the mammogram radiologists. read more

I would not recommend wake Radiology if you have a choice go elsewhere. The office staff is nice the billing department not so much even though the hospital the doctors involved all were helpful in their rates due to being off work for three months due to the injury and insurance only covers so much. They refused to be helpful at all and they'll send you to a collection agency faster than you can blink. They do offer a payment plan but it's nothing the average person who's just getting back to work could ever afford they just won't work with you I think they just don't care also they don't sent out the xrays to right Doctor's office. read more
