From Tampa Florida we boarded the Norwegian Sun for our adventure south to the ancient Mayan ruins of Belize, Chetumal and Tulum. Our local guides were so knowledgable, particularly in the Chetumal and Tulum Ruins. The Lecturer traveling with us gave lots of insight as well. Also visited the island of Roatan Honduras which was not fabulous. Beware of locals who do not understand personal boundaries. Being polite doesn't work. Say NO and mean it. I would cruise with the Cruise Lady anytime. They were very well organized and took good care of us.

Bad tour April 21 to 23. Good tour guide. Discovered that the itinerary on Get Your Guide was…read moreincorrect. Guide said it looked like cut and paste from 7 day tour not 3 day. He said some of what was outlined was not possible in short time frame and was surprised we asked for only one day in Yellowstone. We did not ask. That was the offered tour. Tour of Yellowstone and Grand Tetons a bust. We were told weather might affect and long drives so I accept that. Was not told that many of the roads and views of all Yellowstone Lake are not open until at least May 1 and some not until May 15. Saw zero views of Grand Tetons due to fog. Nobody's fault but none of the internal roads were open by the lakes so total waste of time. This after scary drive over the pass due to snow. 3 day tour from Salt Lake City should not be an option since it is 10 to twelve hours of just to and from driving to and from SLC. Then much of the park is closed. We were so disappointed we flew out of Jackson Hole to escape the 6 hour drive back.

First of all it was the best experience we have had to see via helicopter the beauty of the terrain and wildlife of the national parks. I was very thankful that Leah arranged to have the best helicopter company and pilot. Most importantly the professionalism of this pilot and safety was paramount. Leah listened and helped to get this arranged specifically which made it a beautiful and safe experience of the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and surrounding areas. Check in was easy and they go through all the do's & dont's of using the boat. The pontoon we reserved was the cheapest, but it was really nice compared to ones we've rented in the past at other lakes/rivers. Had Bluetooth speakers which added to the experience. We were bummed out the weather was a bit crappy so I felt like we didn't get to fully enjoy the experience. Also, unless you plan to jump off the boat and swim/float etc., there's no where to beach it to hang out, and you are told to stay 150 feet away from the edges due to shallow water and rocks. The water was a chilly 52 for Memorial Day weekend and without sun and warm temps we didn't get into the water. We ended up returning our rental early due to rain, but checking the boat back in was easy. I definitely recommend renting if you're spending a day here. It's got gorgeous views and it's very big. There were some cool teepees out of what looked like driftwood or something along the South Eastern section that merges into Provo River. There's beautiful homes along northern edges as well.
