Dr. Walden and Dr. Beavers are both exceptional dentists who truly care about their patients. They take the time to listen and address concerns in a thoughtful and thorough way. I recently saw Dr. Beavers for a consultation regarding my TMJ issues after noticing my jaw was popping in a strange zig-zag motion when opening and closing. I was immediately impressed by his passion and knowledge about TMJ and sleep apnea. He took the time to explain the mechanics of my jaw and even guided me through an exercise that stopped the popping right there in the chair--it was incredible. During the exam, he carefully evaluated my jaw and bite and recommended an anterior repositioning device. His explanation made perfect sense, and for the first time, I felt truly understood and educated about my condition. I also learned that a splint I had been using from a previous dentist may have actually been worsening my TMJ symptoms. Since starting with the new appliance, I've had a great experience so far. Excellent experience! Hygienist was knowledgeable, gentle and thorough. Dentist/Dr Beavers was very friendly, understanding and was not a "salesman". He gave me a run down of what was needed from where to start now all the way through a perfect smile. Im not interested in an overhaul, so he happily pared it down to necessary repair work. He had a very comfortable and friendly demeanor while maintaining professionalism. I am a Veteran, He showed me how my military work was now and how he could improve them. I was sure i was going to need a full set of dentures and his plan had no extractions or even root canals. I would reccommend this practice to all, especially Dr Beavers. This office refused to see me after seemingly helping me with an anxiety problem with the dentist. They were really sweet the first couple times; then LITERALLY THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT said I was no longer welcome. I had phoned ahead to say I may be late (I live in the neighborhood behind their office), but that I was on the way. She told me to calm down, I explained to her I was the patient they had given anxiety medication and that I had just taken I it as instructed. She insisted I was being unreasonable and BANNED ME from the location. Also, bad country music in the waiting room and faux Christian-feelings. Really, really fake, stepford wife kind of feel about the whole staff. Very didappointing. In regards to the response from the office (if it's visible to the public), it was in fact this office and that's WHY I haven't been back for several years. I never wrote a complaint here because my father used this office until he passed away. read more

This is in response to Dr. Walden's comment. I am sure I have the right dental office. And I am very upset to see this response. Here are the facts which I am happy to come into your office to discuss with you: you did a root cancal on tooth N30, a few months later that tooth began to have pain again, I went to an emergency dentist who said there was an abscess on N28 and missed canal on N30 and recommended I go back to who did it (you- Dr. Walden) for retreatment, when I came to you with pain on N30 you told me there was not a missed canal all the pain was caused by N28 and that I needed a root canal on N28 even with me saying the pain was currently on N30 and that was what I addressed first, I then went to an endodontist who verified there was a missed canal in N30, they then performed retreatment on N30 and found the missing root which greatly decreased the pain. You refused to say there was a missing root, insisted it was only N28 causing the pain, and did not offer retreatment as an option. read more

Walden Dental Group is the best!! My daughter does not do well at the dentist; however, Dr Walden always sets her at ease. She had a biking accident a couple years ago and needed veneers. Dr Walden was great with her and the veneers look great. Fast forward to last week, on Friday one of the veneers came off and the dental office was closed. My daughter, had a work commitment that weekend and was going to have to attend with her veneer off ( not good!) I called the emergency number and Dr Walden returned my call immediately. He made arrangements to come in and fix her veneer later the same day. He saved the day! I cannot recommend Dr Walden and his staff enough. read more

I wanted to take this opportunity to write a review of Walden Dentistry. 1st off it's rare that I write a review of any kind regarding business but the folks at Walden Dentistry are exceptional and deserve to be recognized. Dr. Walden has been my dentist exclusively for the past 4 years and I find that alongside himself, his entire staff is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I have had extensive dental work performed by Dr. Walden which included simple fillings, root canal, and implants. Danielle in billing is exceptional in explaining and breaking down the cost of procedures and can accurately inform you of how dental insurance can offset some of that expense. The dental assistants are all first-rate in their congeniality and areas of expertise. Last but not least, the receptionist(s) also needs to be recognized for their diligence in answering questions, scheduling and reminding patients of upcoming appointments, etc. I know that for some, going to the dentist leads to extreme anxiety and trepidation. If you need an excellent Endodontist, try Dr. Asrari in Gilbert, Board Certified and this is her F.T. Job not a P.T. Job. If you need a crown, get a second Opinion! You may find out you don't need one. Front Office staff has difficulty articulating to customers...when it doesn't go their way, they will throw up their arms and say, this is how it is???? Terminated my service with this firm and moved on to another local dentist....just note, there are dentists on every street corner in this town. read more

My wife and I recently moved to Chandler from Southern California. Prior to moving we both had gone to our long time dentists and had been advised that all was fine. Two months after we arrived we both needed teeth cleaning, and relatives mentioned Dr. Walden. We both had our teeth cleaned and then Dr. Walden saw my wife first, and advised her, that she needed at least four to six crowns! He further advised me that I needed further dental work! During my conversation with Dr. Walden he had the gall to ask me, several times, how much I realized from the sale of my home in Southern California. He also punctuated his remarks to me, by elbowing me a number of times, in some sort of "we're buddies" act. I love this dental office! EVERYONE in the office is so friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The environment is very warm and home-like, it doesn't even smell like a dental office. They offer sedation or nitrous to people with anxiety to help calm their nerves during dental treatment. I didn't need any, but I referred my friend to the office who is really uneasy at dental offices, and she felt extremely comfortable with Dr. Walden and his assistants. She was even making jokes by the time her appointment was over! It's hard to find a dentist or team you can really love and trust. Well I love them! Plus, they do most dental work here (I was referred out to a specialist to have my wisdom teeth extracted at a previous dental office) AND they are very respectful of my time! Huge plus to me! Awful, awful experience. Turns out I was given an incorrect estimate, charges are double from what was given on the estimate, and all of this after one of the most terrible visits at the dentist my child ever had. I had never met Dr. Walden, nor did my kid. He did not introduce himself to either of us, started working on my child without any explanation as to what he was doing, and when my son reacted because someone snuffed a needle in his mouth, scared, he told him stop acting like a 5 year old... When I voiced my disappointment , Dr. Walden apologized multiple times, but between incorrect quote and service, I will never set another foot in that office. read more

The Dr is very nice, however I took myself and my 3 kids in to have a cleaning, our first time there last November.. no complaints. When we were done with our appointments they scheduled us for our next appointments.. 6 months out, for insurance purpose. They told us when I went to get cleaning for myself and 2 of my kids... 2 days later for my other child. Upon leaving my 3rd kids appointment they tell me I owe $80? I said I had already paid $60 the other day for the 3 of us, should only be $20 (copay) that day for my 3rd kid, who wasn't with us 2 days prior. They said oh... you were a bit early for your cleaning so insurance didn't pay... they booked the appointments for me months ago!!! They told me when to come back!!! It's the principle.... I would have hoped they know how to book appointments out... and go with insurance.. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Dr. Walden is!! Not only is he extremely talented but he puts his patients needs first. I have seen countless doctors in my life and I have NEVER met anyone like Dr. Walden. Not to mention..... his staff is SO wonderful as well! They greet you by your name every time you come in and they even make it a point to remember my husband's and son's names. Dr. Walden even came in on his day off when I had a dental emergency. Name one doctor who does that!!! Most "on-call" Doctors would say, "Just go to the ER and I'll see you next week." I also love that every time I call, an ACTUAL PERSON answers and they will do anything to get you in the same day. Dr. Walden is a class act and a true gentlemen. My whole family have been coming here for 2 years and have been happy with Dr Beavers . Today my experience was horrible with Dr Walden !!! Unfortunately we weren't able to book the appointment with Dr Beavers. My very mature 9 year old son came in today for a extraction of 2 pieces of baby tooth that was left when it fell out. Dr Walden numbs my son and then tells him he shouldn't cry or whine like a 5 year old or move like a baby. So from the start he made my son feel very uncomfortable. He then comes back a while later and tells my son if you feel anything that hurts raise your hand and let me know and I'll numb you again . So he begins and my son raises his hand and says it hurts! Dr Walden gets another shot ready and my son is crying because he's hurting then Dr Walden backs away and throws his hands up in the air and says "we are not gonna do this " I'm like what ?? You just numbed my son 2 times and now you just don't have time to do this? My husband and I were not understanding because gas was never offered or even comforting or reassuring my son ...and then he proceeds to tell us we need to go to another dentist to have him sedated. Sedated ? For 2 pieces of baby tooth ? Maybe he was feeding off of your negative energy and you didn't want to take the time! I walked out of there with my son and will never go back . This dentist is over priced. Asked for an estimate and had it reviewed by another dentist. Found out that he said that I needed extensive work done. Two other dentists said that the work he said was needed was not necessary. I found another dentist and I am very y happy. Would not ever use this dentist.
