I had my teeth cleaned yesterday for the first time in 3 years. I've been putting it off because... who wants to go to the dentist? I checked in and the office was nice, the front desk staff was excellent and they promptly got me into a chair with a hygienist, Amanda. She chatted with me about my paperwork and understood I'm sensitive to cold etc and she began cleaning my teeth and talked to me about her kids and asked questions about mine which totally took my mind off the cleaning. She was hilarious and she was extremely gentle in cleaning my teeth and I didn't experience ANY discomfort. After 3 yrs of no cleanings I was impressed that it wasn't painful and she made it seem effortless. She was very thorough and explained everything she was doing before she did it. The dentist was thorough and professional as well. The treatment plan was small, I didn't feel like anything unnecessary was added on and the pricing was the most fair I've seen of any dentist. I have average insurance and any other dentist would've been a few hundred more than they quoted me. Overall I'd highly recommend the office and definitely request Amanda as your hygienist because it feels more like having coffee with a friend than getting your teeth cleaned. read more

This is a great place with a great staff. They are all very friendly and knowledgeable. This is the first dentist office I've ever been to where I didn't feel like there primary goal was to sell me services I don't want. I really like that when I go in for my 4:00 appointment i'm not sitting in the waiting room till 4:25 because they overbooked. I'm also not sitting in the treatment room waiting for the dentist or hygienist for another 20 minutes as they make rounds with multiple other patients. When you book an appointment they show you respect and are ready for you at the time you booked it for. They take you back and start working right away. I saw Amanda on my last visit and she did a fantastic job with my teeth. She also answered all my questions and eased my concerns with confidence. They don't try to tell you nonsense here to make money off you. They are here to do a great job and they want you to leave happy. read more

Dr. Anderson is wonderful. Not only does he greet his patients personally but is aware of special needs (medical) that require patients special needs. He recently sent one of his employees out to ensure he had a non allergenic numbing agent I was not allergic to. There is NO upsell in his office he only attends to immediate and customer needs. Amanda the hygienist is meteclous to insure teeth are cleaned, problems are brought to the attention of Dr. Anderson during the process. Amanda keeps amazing records keeping track of sensitive areas to insure you don't get that moment of pain when she hits a sensitive area. The office staff carries Dr. Anderson's and Amanda beliefs that the customer is king. They always are aware of insurance payments, copays and keeping the patient informed about benefits. Love love love this office and staff. I had a lot of bad experiences with orthodontists and dentists in my past. Due to the anxiety that caused me, I neglected going to the dentist until I got to a point where it was absolutely necessary. I told the staff about my anxiety and they were extremely sympathetic and patient with me. They reassured me and talked me through everything. I ended up needing a deep cleaning, fillings and a root canal. The pain management was amazing. At the worst point, I was uncomfortable but never in pain. My teeth look and feel better than I ever imagined. My toddler had her first dental appointment with them and they were so good with her that she keeps asking to go back and tells everyone about her appointment. I could not recommend this office more and will be recommending them to everyone I know. read more

I couldn't ask for a better experience at the dentist than I have had with Smiles at San Tan Ranch. From the time you are greeted at the front office to the time you leave, everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I've had a few cleaning done here also, and it has been quick and thorough every time. They are also great at letting you know what you can do to better take care of your teeth and gums. I've never felt like they were trying to add on extra services that were not needed (I had that feeling with my prior dentist). I let them know how I'd like to have straighter teeth and they referred me to a local orthodontist that I am very happy with. Don't wait any longer. I have been to many different dental office and Smiles at San Tan Ranch is one of the best! I took my 5 year old for her first visit. She was kicking and screaming the whole way and didn't want to go. After a 10 minute battle in the parking lot, she walked inside. She was watching cartoons as I was getting my teeth cleaned and they were able to get her into a chair. She said no tools and all they could do is look at her teeth. We took her back a while later to try again, this time she was a little more happy to go. She sat in the chair and the dentist hygienist explained how all the tools worked and showed how they did not hurt. As a person that is deafly afraid of the dentist, I can this dentist office is amazing. I mean from the front office staff, to the hygienist to the dentist. They know me by name and remember certain details about my life, that makes it easy to have rapport. They are soooo incredibly warm, kind , patient, knowledgeable and helpful. I never feel rushed, they take the time to educate me on what is happening and help soothe my anxiety. I never feel like they are pushing me to get more than what is needed for my overall dental hygiene health. You can tell from interacting with them that they are a cohesive unit and family like business. I am happy to say this is my dentist and will always be a customer for them. It was my first time at this office and I was a little nervous at first but everyone who worked there was so welcoming. It really eased my mind. I liked how they have you rate your smile and then talk to you about what they could do to make your smile a 10 out of 10. Never had that before at a dentist. My hygienist, Amanda, was so friendly and sweet! She makes sure to let you know everything she is doing before she does it so there are no surprises. Loved her. And I can't forget to mention the fact.... THEY HAVE A MASSAGE CHAIR. Besides all the great friendly employees there, I think that chair was my favorite part about the visit. After my 9 year daughter had an extreme tooth ache we had to find a dentist fast and Smiles at Santan got us in right away. My daughter ended up having to have the tooth pulled and they were amazing! Tiffany was her dental assistant and she made her feel so comfortable and special! Tiffany even took off her bracelet that she has wore for years and gifted it to my daughter. Even after having a tooth pulled she talks so highly of Tiffany and the whole experience. A week later I took my other 2 kids for cleanings and once again they provided exceptional care for the other kids. The front desk people (especially Donovan) were so friendly and funny. The hygienist Amanda was perfect with the work she did on my teeth. Our family has grown with this dental practice from their beginnings and we believe dental health affects the rest of our bodies, so we try to remain consistent with our visits. I have moved a lot over the years, so I have tried many dentists. Dr. Anderson and his staff are by far the best! Everything went smoothly from scheduling the appointment, getting my insurance, checking in, the exam, and then my follow up visits for my fillings. They ran on time and everyone was so friendly. I never got the impression I was being taken advantage of, like I have experienced at other places. They were thorough with the x-rays and explaining the areas of concern. They were proactive in my specific case, coordinating with my orthodontist to research and present me with solutions to my late jaw movement. Everyone at this office is very friendly. Amanda, the hygienist is very careful not to scratch up my tori when she does xrays. Dr. Anderson is thorough and straight forward. He gives examples of what could happen if you don't take care of something so I can make the decision about how soon I need to get the follow up scheduled. They are open to answering my questions. My fillings have all held well and have been relatively painless to get done. A little sore, but nothing major. I recommend this dentist. read more

Everyone here is very kind from the moment you walk in the door. I've been going here for a few years and haven't had a bad experience yet. They even checked my new insurance in advance and got back to me that I was in network right away. Amanda is patient with me because I have extreme anxiety over the dentist and tmj.
