WORST "Barber Shop" if you even want to call it that. It doesn't matter if i am a guy, girl, if i color my skin black. I really can't believe you judged ME to walk into your Barber Shop and look at me and notice i'm a female and would not cut my hair. After my wife called you trying to explain that she was wanting to know if you were open because I needed my haircut. I drove to you after you said you'd be there until 5:30pm. I came in as a family was leaving, as soon as I was explaining to you my wife was the one who called and I just wanted a trim you looked at me and asked if i was a female which i said yes. Now because i said yes this man refused to cut my hair. Would i have said no, but walked up to this mans chair would this outcome have been different? Or, would he have still judged by my looks and notice that i have breasts would he have still believed In his mind I was a female and refused service?.. or cut my hair based on the fact i would have said i was a man? Just to get a haircut you have to walk into a barber shop and get serviced based on sex? This man started preaching the bible to me with this verse: "For her hair is given to her for a covering. NIV but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering". I am assuming he thought that i'm not Christian or religious in any way. M husband had To have rotator cuff surgery. Waldo actually came to our home to cut his hair. He is AWESOME!!

If I could give this place and this man ZERO stars, I would. If you have young children who need haircuts, this place IS NOT for you. My two sons and I arrived around 3:30 (he closed at 5) and there were about 5 people ahead of us. We sat patiently, never complaining once about the wait. When it was my five year olds turn, he acted like a typical 5 year old - he would shrug his shoulders when the hair tickled him, his head would drop because he was on his brother's phone to keep him distracted, but other than that he sat still and behaved. For an inexperienced barber this may have made it a little difficult to cut his hair. Waldo, on the other hand, has been doing this for many, many years. I'm not really sure what anyone expects from a 5-year-old child, but as I said he was only mildly squeamish. Waldo began to make rude remarks towards my little boy including, "I don't have all day to cut one person's hair. You need to learn to sit still. I tried to be nice to you but now you are making me mess up." The smock came undone at some point and my son simply said. "I am itchy". The man continued, "You should have sat still, now you have to live with itchy hair falling down your back. I'm here to cut hair, not babysit!" He continued with rude remarks until I had to tell him that I wanted him out of the chair. I paid him the $10 for the haircut , no tip was left , and told him we will not be returning . If you do not want to deal with squirmy children in your barber chair, then you should not offer children haircuts! Do not waste your time with this 2-hour wait and rude service! Go somewhere else. Anywhere. Other reviews speak of how he is a man of God. Sir, I suggest you pray a little harder because I do not think Jesus would be very happy with how you spoke to a little boy who only wanted his haircut. read more

It is okay I would only go there if it was the last place left or it just had no wait what so ever.

Very nice, quiet, old timely barber shop. Mr. Waldo is very courteous and professional. The shop is very clean, the haircuts are top notch. Some might complain there's a little wait. However that's part of the charm. This is a small one chair barber shop as soon as one hair cut is done Mr. Waldo starts the next. Tuesday, through Saturday 9-5 are the hours I believe. Haircuts including eyebrow, neck, ear trim and straight razor trim around ears and back of neck got 10.00 bucks. That's a pretty great deal. read more
