Waldo's is great. It's in the basement of Lark, if you are looking for it. It's a maker space, selling artisan crafts, along with a coffee shop. The coffees are donation based, which is awesome. Staff was incredibly friendly. I got an orgeat-flavored breve, which was fantastic. I love that they offer French soda as well. And their mocktails look awesome. I'm looking forward to a return visit. read more

Waldo's is a great location for meeting, mingling, or just stopping in for a coffee that's always roasted and served fresh. There's a few rooms for sculpting clay, or other styles of artistic flare. From green bean to your palate, I recommend stopping in and donating some money for quick convenience and rewarding those who serve you. We had the lavender honey and peppercorn latte. They were good. Next time we're in town, we'll be sure to stop by. read more

Genuinely the best cold brew I've ever had, and the vibe and energy were incredible. Greeted right away by friendly and helpful staff (who were making their own cherry syrup on premises!). Really great atmosphere with art from local artists (from $2 stickers to $175+ original paintings), including some truly great ceramics. Hoping to come back sometime when they have music. Waldo's is a must-stop if you are in the Gettysburg area! My friends and I found this hidden gem when we stopped in the area for the day, and I'm so thankful we did. First off, the location is super cool. Found down an alley, the all brick building just looks legit. As we walked in, we were warmly welcomed as if we were locals. The barista of the coffee shop was super friendly and helpful, and the kombucha that I tried was fantastic. But the coffee shop is just the beginning, as the entire shop is dedicated to artists and creatives. There is a bookstore, local goods for sale, and plenty of space for local artists to come in and work for free. The people who started Waldo's are just passionate about giving people a place to be creative, and it's dope. Show these people some love! read more

Waldo's is a cool hip destination for checking out art and live music. They have great coffee drinks and also have a "Kool-aide" bar menu with a variety of drinks that are kid friendly. The place is alcohol free so it's great for teens, younger kids and adults looking for a great night out to check out live music. They have a rotating gallery of artist exhibits as well as artist studios for rent. A real asset to the community, Waldo's delivers a great affordable experience for all. Highly recommend. read more

Stopped in with my son on Saturday April 29, 2003 somewhere around 3PM. As we were at the counter reading the menu I decided what I wanted before my son did. I turned to my son and told him what I would be having as he was still trying to decide. The young man standing behind the counter said rather rudely "you're supposed to talk to me!" I refrained from responding because my son was with me but there was plenty I wanted to say! My son however said it to me, "that kid's a jerk!" He definitely needs some customer service training. This is one of my favorite places in Gettysburg. Its a little hidden treasure that you probably wouldn't notice if you hadn't come across a notice or a person telling you about something happening there. Its a place that is great for all ages. Its a music venue/art studio/coffee shop, book nook where you can go to just relax. Its located in the alley behind Mama Venturas and behind the Pub. If you take a walk back there, you may find the doors open and people hanging out at the coffee bar or out on the deck. Definitely a place to keep an eye on for low price, friendly entertainment and conversation, as well as a place to take your kids to get them interested in art and music. read more
