Planning ahead for your final arrangements is a final act of love for your family and friends. Unfortunately, a guy was in a situation where that didn't happen, and he's passing the hat just so he can cremate his father. Instead of mourning, he's fundraising. I love working with this firm. You wouldn't believe the process after a death when everything is arranged. Things tend to get held up. Imagine the nightmare when it isn't. After you're gone it's not your problem anymore, but it will be someone's. They are very accessible, no runarounds. This is where I discovered the Crystal Canyon Water that I love so much. So the might be good for my health as well. This process can be done on Legal Zoom according to the ads. If you can afford an estate attorney, this makes more sense, and is more hands on. They make all the necessary calls, and there are plenty of them.

We had a phone conversation and he personally took care of all of the paperwork within a few days. Jeff made the whole process extremely simple and easy to complete and he went above and beyond what I was expecting from any lawyer I was going to hire over the phone. I highly recommend Jeff and I will certainly be calling him again if I have any other estate planning needs in Minnesota.

I found Metropolitan Law Group on line and they were so helpful and compassionate from the get go. Barbara Connelly communicated constantly with me and guided me through the whole process. She always checked in on how I was doing and always asked how my brother was doing. His health was declining rapidly and I had to fly back to DC. I contacted them on a Thursday and they squeezed me in for a Zoom call Monday morning with the owner, Lisa Haster. Lisa was very easy to talk to and very kind to my brother. She was very expeditious and got the information she needed and we were done within 15 minutes. Jodi Dybsetter, the paralegal, got all of the forms sent to me quickly and I was able to print them out at UPS. I was able to get a notary Tuesday morning to my brother's hospital room and we made everything official. I scanned it back to Jodi and they were able to get everything recorded by Wednesday. Even though business is concluded, Barbara still checks in. Outstanding customer service and compassionate people. I highly recommend Metropolitan Law Group and Barbara Connelly.

She was very accommodating and while she is not a marriage counselor (nor should she be) she did give us space to make decisions as a couple and as individuals. She also provided some great examples of what other clients have done to help us formulate our own plan - that's what you get when you work with someone who has experience! I would and have recommended her to friends and family.

Whoever is in charge of payment, Denise? was a complete bitch from the start. I almost didn't go with them due to her demeanor and tone. I figured I would give the lawyer a shot. During the mediation, I had to step away due to emotions and PTSD from the trauma my ex has caused me. My lawyer had ZERO compassion. I had paid for 4 hours of mediation and had 2 more hours remaining on my package. This was dragged out to the point my ex wanted to do court over lack of not hearing a thing from my lawyer. My lawyer refused to reschedule the remaining mediation or ask his lawyer to reschedule forcing us into court. At the end of this, I spoke with my ex about the communication from my lawyer and his. It was non-existent. We both showed each other the emails and communication we received from both of our lawyers. To summarize; communication was terrible, pricing was outrageous, went from only mediation to court over my ex wanting to modify our original divorce decree. I was told something so miniscule would not go to court. We ended up going to court. If there are any fees needed from you, they do not disclose that before hand and rudely harass you to get that payment with zero forewarning what you need to pay in advance. I didn't feel represented well, or that they cared.

There was very poor communication and no attention to detail. Several factors were not addressed nor did I know they were issues until my current lawyer brought them up. My ex was trying to hide a second retirement account which was not noticed, ROP was not addressed, and my ex was also trying to claim that his 40k in savings was not marital, which I later found out was. I spent thousands of dollars and countless hours with this company but had to get a new attorney who was able and willing to advocate for me.
