I learned the park is 16 acres large and has been around since 1899! The old trees are a sight to see, and the area feels like you're right in nature. The playground is vast and somewhat outdated, but the kids don't seem to mind. Many events take place here, too, including performances by the Aurora Players Theater and the Rotary Bandstand. Cars aren't allowed, and parking is limited; you might have to find parking on one of the side streets. I noticed there are restrooms too, and a couple of picnic shelters. Leave your beer, your dog and your snowmobile at home; they're not allowed, along with some other items you might want to look up before venturing out. It's a great public park and worth a stopover to relax and enjoy nature on one of the benches or bring a picnic and enjoy your time at one of the picnic tables. Truly, something for everyone.

The park had vendors, people were picnicking, kids were playing, there was a band and baseball field. Hamlin Park was out of a Hallmark Movie. Hallmark should not only continue to use Viddler's as a location for movies, but should also include this park for a summer movie location. Now I don't know about you but when I think of a…read moretree-house I think of a simple wooden structure including a floor, some walls and maybe a ceiling in a tree with a simple ladder leading up to it. Well if that's what you are picturing then walking up to this place will feel like stepping into a dream. The tree house itself is incredible full of pure imagination and uniqueness. From a real old car, to a princess castle to a wizard's den, to a real single person airplane that used to fly in the sky this tree house has something for everyone. The people that imagined and made this thing are incredible. They are happy to share their story, their plans, and their backyard with everyone. It is definitely worth it to spend some time checking out their tree house and hearing their story. My son really enjoys checking out the replica storefronts as this playground boasts a tiny main street of popular establishments in the village. We visited on a summer weekday and there were about 4 families at 9:30am. I have heard that it can sometimes get crowded, but it's no surprise because of how nice it is. There are also bathroom facilities on site as well that can be accessed from the outside. I believe there is a family restroom as well.

He went to Canisius. He went to Woodstock, case of beer in hand. He had a law degree (with honors). He was on the Board of Directors for the Baseball Hall of Fame. At the time of his unexpected death (at 58) he was the longest moderator of "Meet the Press, NBCs Sunday morning show. He often closed the show by saying "Go Bills". His son is also a Bills fan. While he was alive, Russert worked with the South Buffalo Alive organization to create a children's space, conveniently next to a public library. This space is a place for children to paly, and adults to come and sit quietly on the benches. There are some gardens and nice wildflowers as well. It's a smaller space, right on the street, but there is parking and its well maintained. This is all in the neighborhood Russert was born and raised in. If you are in the area for the Botanical Garden, the Basilica, or perhaps Valle of Mexico, come by here, its close, and check it out.

There looks like a small wading pool open in the summertime, and also love that this is right in a cute little neighborhood. No parking but folks didn't seem to mind/have trouble parking. There are swings, a small and large basketball court, some benches, picnic tables and a gazebo from what I saw. Plenty of green space to set up a picnic!

We had to park so far away from the fields we played on, the grass would have clumps left over from mowing, and worst of all goose poop EVERYWHERE! I would look like an idiot wearing black rain boots because I didn't want goose crap all over my shoes! These fields here at Clearfield are very well maintained. There is absolutely no goose poop or clumps of grass. Parking is a bit closer. There are a few well maintained tennis courts as well, a pool, and also a kids area with little water slides and such. I'm not sure what the policy is for using these, and I tried to find out on their website and got nowhere, but I do know it is open to all residents.

This thing has been around for I'd say 25-30 years (???) Our kids LOVED this playground! Some of the comments was "This is the best playground everrrr." Or "This is the biggest playground over ever seen!" They had so much fun playing hide and seek in all the nooks and crannies that these wooden playground always had! Definitely recommend! There are also baseball, football, soccer fields as well as tennis courts and basketball courts here. We saw a a covered pavilion with a couple picnic tables and a port-o-potty.
