There looks like a small wading pool open in the summertime, and also love that this is right in a cute little neighborhood. No parking but folks didn't seem to mind/have trouble parking. There are swings, a small and large basketball court, some benches, picnic tables and a gazebo from what I saw. Plenty of green space to set up a picnic!

Wow! Who doesn't love a good tree-house? Now I don't know about you but when I think of a…read moretree-house I think of a simple wooden structure including a floor, some walls and maybe a ceiling in a tree with a simple ladder leading up to it. Well if that's what you are picturing then walking up to this place will feel like stepping into a dream. The tree house itself is incredible full of pure imagination and uniqueness. From a real old car, to a princess castle to a wizard's den, to a real single person airplane that used to fly in the sky this tree house has something for everyone. The people that imagined and made this thing are incredible. They are happy to share their story, their plans, and their backyard with everyone. It is definitely worth it to spend some time checking out their tree house and hearing their story. The tree house is built in their backyard so visit their facebook page to see the dates and times that they are inviting people to come. They are quick to message you back via facebook as well. They invite people freely into their house Young, old, young at heart, this place provides a great escape from reality and a fun place to spend some time. This is a very large park. The playground has a couple of large playsets, lots of swings, and a…read morecouple seesaws. The bathrooms are pretty well kept and didn't smell like outhouse when we visited like so many other playground bathrooms do, at least as far as the ladies room went. There's some paths for walking or biking that looked flat and smooth enough for blading as well. There's a big soccer field. They have a couple movie nights in the summer. There's also a small Santa's cottage that's open multiple days and times in December. Great park overall.

We came for the first time today and wow, I didn't know such a great park existed so close to home!…read more Three playgrounds (one seems to be wheelchair accessible), soccer fields, plenty of seating and picnic tables, restrooms, a pavilion, walking paths, Santa's Workshop (can't wait to find out more about that), and probably so much more that I can't even see from this spot. It all looks relatively new. Everything is clean, intact, and in very good shape. The kids are absolutely loving this park right now. I don't think I'll be able to get them to leave!

Hamlin Park is a staple site of East Aurora. There is a volleyball court, a hardball baseball…read morediamond, a half-mile track, tennis and pickleball courts, a multi-purpose field and more in the vicinity and lots of kids having fun, running around. I learned the park is 16 acres large and has been around since 1899! The old trees are a sight to see, and the area feels like you're right in nature. The playground is vast and somewhat outdated, but the kids don't seem to mind. Many events take place here, too, including performances by the Aurora Players Theater and the Rotary Bandstand. Cars aren't allowed, and parking is limited; you might have to find parking on one of the side streets. I noticed there are restrooms too, and a couple of picnic shelters. Leave your beer, your dog and your snowmobile at home; they're not allowed, along with some other items you might want to look up before venturing out. It's a great public park and worth a stopover to relax and enjoy nature on one of the benches or bring a picnic and enjoy your time at one of the picnic tables. Truly, something for everyone.

The park had vendors, people were picnicking, kids were playing, there was a band and baseball field. Hamlin Park was out of a Hallmark Movie. Hallmark should not only continue to use Viddler's as a location for movies, but should also include this park for a summer movie location. This thing has been around for I'd say 25-30 years (???) Our kids LOVED this playground! Some of the comments was "This is the best playground everrrr." Or "This is the biggest playground over ever seen!" They had so much fun playing hide and seek in all the nooks and crannies that these wooden playground always had! Definitely recommend! There are also baseball, football, soccer fields as well as tennis courts and basketball courts here. We saw a a covered pavilion with a couple picnic tables and a port-o-potty.

As to safety this park is nessled right behind a massive police station so it's better situated than most, still fights and schenanigins do rarely happen. It can get VERY rambunctious with play during hot summer days and plays host to many festavils and free community BBQ events yearly that are well worth checking out.
