There isn't really any seating .. a couple of benches and picnic tables. You have to bring your own chair in. They cut the "field" in half for the younger kids (referring to soccer here because that's what I come here for) and this results in balls from other games going on coming onto each other's playing fields. The worst part of this place is that smells like sweaty .. ummm .. "soccer" balls. As soon as you walk in the smell hits you in the face. I smell it every time I come in and I want to throw up. The turf is nice. I will say that.

I love local parks!…read more Brought my one year old here and felt she was a little too small for the playgrounds and slides but the sand box with all the trucks in it, was right up her alley. There looks like a small wading pool open in the summertime, and also love that this is right in a cute little neighborhood. No parking but folks didn't seem to mind/have trouble parking. There are swings, a small and large basketball court, some benches, picnic tables and a gazebo from what I saw. Plenty of green space to set up a picnic!

It's a large, beautiful park with 50+ shelters to rent for private parties. There is even a huge…read moreshelter that fits over 200 people if you want to have a wedding there or something crazy. They have an indoor casino (not the gambling kind) that you can rent and plenty of outdoor space. The restrooms are pretty far apart from eachother so I would recommend scoping it all out before you book one. My only complaint about this park is that there aren't a ton of sports facilities. There is a tennis court and a basketball court. But no soccer field? Or baseball? There is so much wasted space that could be used for these activities. The very best part of the entire park is the dog park though!!

Park has seen better days, looks like a renovation of the facilities and pick up of trash is much needed. There is a nice pathway to walk, jog or roller blade. Baseball diamonds were not in use. I'd come back if I the neighborhood again. Some folks walking their dogs who live nearby. I should add: one of the Highlights to coming to this park is strolling down Hertel and enjoying a variety of eateries and unique businesses. After this visit to the park, I enjoyed a bowl of delicious ice cream from Lake Effect! Always a treat!

They also have a women's only rec league, co-ed, etc. The facilities are nice... They have a couple full-size fields and a few half-fields. It's always sooooo cold in here though during winter. If you are playing then it feels great, but if you are coming as a spectator, make sure you layer up! They have a food stand available and showers in the bathrooms. There's even swings and a playground for the two legged puppers. I came to add some books to the free little library. I was amazed at how clean and well kept the grounds were. Visitors really stay on top of their dogs. I didn't see a single pile. Or maybe all the dogs just become like those kids who get too caught up in playing to take a bio break.
