I drive a Camaro and hate putting shit gas in it but in a bind so had to put in a small amount till I could get real fuel. Pay at the pump and it takes my card. I put nozzle in and..nothing!! Then when I hit lever again the entire side of the pump was loose and open!! Had to use pump on the other side walking back and forth to see how much was being pumped I know from experience that the folks that work at this place are far from Rhodes Scholars but you mean to tell me they are so deprived educationally that they can't write BROKEN on a empty Natural Light case and affix it to the afore mentioned POS pump!! I didn't get a receipt because, hey, $5 and I watched it close out. I wake up the next day to find I've been charged $100. I go to ask the manager what the deal was and was informed that when you pay with a card at this gas station the ~BANK~ pends an extra $100-150 and I would get the money back in 3-4 days. SAY What? The full amount was posted minutes after we left the station. I'm asking the owner to provide CCTV and explanation further, whether I was compromised, a pump was broken (refer to below review), or something else is up with the staff --go the extra mile to the next station and save yourself and bank account headache.

It works pretty well when you call the store back and ask to speak to the store manager and explain that you have waited so long....magically the store managers can get a pharmacist on the phone in less than 30 seconds. This gas station is conveniently located on HWY 59, near an exit from I-12. That is a plus, but it also means that some very interesting characters stop here for fuel. I've always found that stations close to the interstate attract weirdos, and this place is no exception. I've never been bothered while pumping, but inside is a different story. 2. The inside convenience store area often seems dirty and poorly laid out. There is an attached Arby's, but the convenience store is the main issue. The items they do carry are never what I want, and it is difficult to find what you need. 3. The staff are not the most friendly group. On my last visit there was a large group of workers (about five) sitting outside the front door smoking. While I filled up they just sat there smoking and leering. Maybe they were impressed by my gas pumping skills, but it made me uncomfortable. Luckily I didn't need to enter the station or else I would have had to pass through their giant smoke cloud. 4. The unknown factor. All of the things I listed above are not enough to make me that uneasy. There is something else about this station that really makes me feel unsafe. I wish I could put my finger on it. I've been to other Kangaroo locations and they seem fine. Who knows? Maybe I am just a scardey cat. I will probably stop here again for fuel because of the convenience. I will just probably avoid the interior.

In an experience that mimics my previous review, but this time with the eye rolling Dymond S. who would not utter a word to me despite my attempt at pleasantries - yet she would stop the transaction to say hello and see how someone (who was obviously a friend) was doing whilst the friend was walking out the door. Then immediately back to ignoring me. She then proceeded to throw my Veuve Clicquot into the same bag as the Tiger Sauce - with nothing but a small paper bag to contain the shards should they have busted against one another. And then without a word or even eye contact, held my receipt out for me to take. What is wrong with this location that their cashiers can't just be decent human beings and employ basic kindness to customers? We're not asking for a parade or to be fawned over, a simple response to a kind hello would suffice. But you choose to be nasty, without provocation, and I just cannot understand why.
