I have always had a pleasant experience here. The pharmacist and their staff do an amazing job. I had an issue with one of my scripts and the pharmacist was able to help me fix it. I was so grateful. The staff here is absolutely doing their best, and they are busier now since they offer vaccines and drive by covid testing. This has never personally made my wait time longer, but I think it's important to keep in mind if you go during the busier hours. I'm always greeted with a smile, and the pharmacy staff always makes me feel like a priority. read more

I have had multiple prescriptions misfiled. I call 45 minutes prior to the pharmacy closing and they left for the evening with me on hold. It seems to be extremely hard to get prescriptions filled so I do not miss doses. They are out of stock, and they can't tell you when they will be in stock. The solution is for you to call around and find them. I am only allowed to used Walgreens or I would have left a long time ago. read more

Made an appointment here for a Covid vaccination. I had a 6 PM appointment on a Friday. I probably should have known it would be a busy time, but hey, I had an appointment right? I got there a few minutes before my appointment and checked instood with about 8 other people at the pharmacy. About 20 minutes after six I was called back the vaccination was quick and painless. No one requested that I stay so I left the pharmacy. So what I go there to shop for your normal pharmacy items, yes, when I go there for a vaccination probably but I might be more selective on the time that I chose. read more

I called the automated system on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, to refill a prescription. The system told me that it would be ready at this pharmacy on Friday, September 13, 2024, after noon. When I went to the pharmacy at 4:30 pm on Friday, I was told that I could not refill the prescription because I had done so on 7/23/24, despite the fact that the vial said "1 refill before 9/18/24." I took the vial back today (9/16/24) and WAITED 1 HOUR before I got to the front of the line. Basically, I was told that I could not refill the prescription and have my insurance pay for it. When I asked for a printout of when I had refilled the prescription, I was told I could get one if I just WAITED IN A SECOND LINE. At that point I gave up. IF I COULD GIVE THIS STORE 0 STARS, I WOULD. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PHARMACY TO ANYONE. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS WITH ABSOLUTE CONTEMPT. SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF HEADACHES AND GO TO A DIFFERENT PHARMACY, IDEALLY NOT A WALGREENS. As another example of their total disrespect for customers, despite having a 4:30 appointment for a vaccine on Friday, September 13, I had to wait 40 minutes to receive my vaccine. This is by far the worst pharmacy we've ever experienced. Went 4 times to pick up my asthma inhaler. First was out of stock, then they were closed for lunch. the new perscription was also out of stock. then the last script was not covered at all. when I call, on hold forever until I hung up. terrible pharmacy experience. Waited over FIVE HOURS for my prescription to be filled, tried to call but their answering machine is GOD AWFUL can't talk to a person at all. Was finally so fed up with my back pain I went in for them to tell me "it'll be ready in another 20 minutes" and after 20 minutes go by I get a call saying I have to go to a completely different location and I won't be able to get all my meds until tomorrow. The average time it takes to fill a prescription is 1.5 hours it's absolutely ridiculous to have to wait over 3x that amount just to be told I'm screwed for the night. read more

The store is very disorganized. Items can be missing, even when the website says they should be in stock, management was always ducking from customers. I was a former employee and I can attest that most of the management didn't like their job and they showed that behavior to their customers and employees. My honest opinion is to avoid this store and go to the one on Washtenaw and Hewitt instead. read more

Items are missing, wrong prices on shelf, and the manager I believe his name was mo or something along the lines, was very annoying and unpleasing to talk to. was very rude and didn't help me at All. Do yourself a favor and don't Go there. I highly recommend the store in YpsilantI, nicer people and a better store. Nightmarish adventure. I had made an appointment online and filled out the forms ahead of time. In all innocence, I made the appt at 9 am when the pharmacy opens so that I could be in and out in a brief time, thereby avoiding too much exposure to others during this time of pandemic. Surprise! Although they did seem to open the pharmacy at around 9:10, they did not give me my injection until 9:30. One employee claimed that it was because the injections were not prepared yet, and that someone was preparing them. This was a stupid, blatant lie, as all the injections are "prepared" in individual boxes. Finally, when I was given the injection, the pharmacist injecting me told me she had to prepare many prescriptions before she could give me the injection. I realize that the place is understaffed and the profits go to the shareholders. I will be changing to another pharmacy. read more

I've popped into this Walgreens on more than a few occasions and it's always been meh to ok. Your typical big name drug store experience. However, last week we had a bit of an ordeal that led my fella and I to walk out. My fella and I were both suffering with some back issues and needed some aids to help us out. We picked up a variety of meds and creams and went to check out and got into a line about 3 people deep. As we got in about 2 people got in line behind us. The cashier at photo waved us over and said he was the only one on the floor that night so we'd have to get rung up over there. We all rushed over and it was a mess, nobody stayed in their order trying to get into a line which already had 2 people in line there, one of which I knew was going to be a total pain to ring up (you know the kind--a million of the same thing in her cart, a handful of coupons, and a bad attitude). We we end up further back in line than we initially started. With both of us in pain, this wasn't an ideal scenario. The poor cashier was frazzled but managed to get through the few people ahead of us ok until the coupon lady came up. Sure enough she had a million questions and a million coupons and argued when they didn't ring up properly. And, of course, the computer froze. The cashier called a manager (who never showed) and kept trying to reset the machine until he finally gave up, left the coupon lady to wait for the manager, and called everyone else over to the register we started at. A few people stood at the register since they hadn't been flagged over to photo and instead of telling them to get to the back of the line the cashier rang them up first instead of taking those of us who had been waiting for 10 minutes at this point. For my fella and I this was the last straw and he dropped our products on the counter and we walked out. We went to the CVS closer to our house instead and were in and out in less than 5. I realize people have bad days, folks don't show up for shifts, etc. But there's got to be a better way to handle it. The manager should have been readily available (and running back up cashier if they were short staffed), the cashier should have regulated to make sure people stayed in the order they came up, etc. Not to mention a contingency plan if people don't show up (people on call, for example). It was just the perfect storm of crappy and it was enough to make me think twice about going to this location again in the future. read more

Wait time is very long at pharmacy!!! They say wait for 15-20 minutes and it still was not ready at 35 minutes. Last time I came here and waited 15 minutes in line to then wait longer and then be told my items were still not ready. read more

Literally the worst. Very very long lines at the pharmacy. I have been waiting for 30 minutes already. It takes them over a day to get eye drops ready - prepackaged eye drops. Absolutely terrible customer service, the manager on duty Joseph yelled at my 9 year old son for having his mask pulled down while drinking his hot chocolate. Instead of speaking to my wife who was with my son, Joseph aggressively confronted my 9 year old son. I called to speak to Joseph but he did nothing but over talk me and say "is that all you want?" From my understanding Joseph is in his late 20's early 30's and yelling at a 9 year old is unacceptable. My wife attempted to speak to him about what he was doing and he was a complete asshole to her too. Someone needs to fire this weasel and put him in his place, I cannot come to store or it will be more than words. I will continue to call corporate and speak to the store manager until there is something done. I will also find every review site and leave this same review so everyone knows Walgreen managers like to verbally attack children. read more

The pharmacy was out of the generic medicine my doctor had prescribed. Without asking me if I wanted the twice as expensive one, they just filled it in. When I asked about it at the checkout, the person at the counter just looked at me and said, "I wish I could change everything that is wrong in the world." Wow! I've worked in customer service for a few years now and forgive me for being picky about certain things, but the customer service from the employees of this place leaves much to be desired. For example, one supervisor/manager that reminds me of Sigourney Weaver (sp?) was walking by and was not even going to acknowledge me. So I asked how she was doing, and she responded and asked if I needed something. I was looking for something that just happened to be on the endcap right in front of me and she points in a direction WHILE walking away. As I start to venture down the aisle I thought she was pointing at, she says, "No. Right there" while still standing at a distance. So I look down the aisle on the other side of the endcap, and, flustered, she finally walks to the endcap and says, "No. Right here," while giving me this are-you-f***ing-kidding-me look. My natural reaction was to apologize, at which point she just walks away. If it wasn't for this store being close to work, I would never come here again. read more
