the actual pharmacist lady with curly hair and glasses was very rude to us!! she yelled at me and told me she changed her mind and isn't going to fill my prescriptions and that I need to have my doctor call a different Walgreens to have them filled. The last time I was just looking for some lighter fluid, Walmart didn't even have it, but I found it at Walgreens, how about that! I usually always find what I'm looking for. I buy a bit of makeup from here as they have more full coverage foundation etc than other places. Some stuff is a bit pricey but overall worth it. I take numerous maintenance medications, so having a good pharmacy is critical. I chose Walgreens because I travel and Walgreens outlets are located almost everywhere. That is particularly important, as their computer system will catch an interaction problem universally. The Azle store is particularly well-operated. It is spotless, well-stocked, with friendly and helpful associates. The pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are extraordinary. They work hard to fill prescriptions promptly and correctly. Consultations are the best of any drugstore I have ever patronized- they even call me later at home to insure new prescriptions are going okay and inquire if I have questions. read more

This is based on the pharmacy, the store itself is nice. I have no words.... my husband had metal removed from his eye this morning... the called in a script to albertsons who did not have the med in Stock. Well, he has a whole in his eye and needed the meds. So we go to CVS, nothing. Walgreens was next. The tech said they had it then filled out the paperwork to transfer the script to them. They said they'd text us when it was ready, would be about 2 hours. Never heard back, so 4 hours later we go and the tell us they don't have it in stock. Well, first of all the tech said you did, second when you received the script from albertsons and saw you didn't have it, why did you not call to let us know?! Then they said the only thing they can do was sell us the 10ml 2 month supply that rounded almost 200 bucks. I will never ever ever be back. read more

Rude ladies--I walked in at 9:55 pm on Wednesday 19th and the heavy set lady walked by the aisle I was in and said "we close in 3 minutes" instead of asking me if she could help me find anything.....my response was I heard the intercom announcement that one of them had done after I walked in.....poor customer service!!!! It's sad for me to say that since I have always supported Walgreens. They have much better customer service at CVS in Lake Worth! read more

I've been a long term customer of another drug store and thought I'd give Walgreens a try. They filled one prescription and the next month needed an authorization from my insurance company. They left a voicemail telling me the preauthorization was denied because it was a generic and that I needed to fill all my prescriptions at Costco. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I had my prescriptions transferred back to the other store, contacted my provider, and did their job for them. Not gonna happen! I pay too much for service and prescriptions. They failed. I work there and I enjoy my job. My customers are amazing. It's kept clean well stocked. The pharmacy is pretty quick also.

The pharmacy is not very organized. Do not know how to handle Medicaid and Tricare. Would still be with CVS, but Tricare requires that we use something other than CVS. After we get these last prescriptions filled, we are changing pharmacies. It has been a complete nightmare. CVS gave us personal care; whereas, Walgreen's is impersonal and inept. They cost me $10 because they did not know how to do an override for Medicaid. When told what to do the response was "what's an override?". read more
