I mainly avoid shopping at this pharmacy store because although it is convenient if I need something that is not carried at the nearby Ralphs, it often should have the product I need but it is out of stock. It is not dependable for cosmetics as they are often not stocked consistently, but at least they don't have things locked up which drives me crazy. I was able to find the mammoth bottle of Extra Strength Tylenol that my husband needed, and I waited in line with another woman but no one was attending to the register. The other woman had to go in the back to find anyone that would ring us up. I've never had a single smooth visit to this store. 3 stars given as a backup plan should I be too lazy to go elsewhere. read more

My experience with their pharmacy has been the worst. HORRIBLE phone wait time, long lines when picking up medicine. Mix ups. No reminders. The staff always looks overworked, underpaid. It's always a nightmare. They are 2 minutes away from my home however I have a much better experience driving further then dealing with this pharmacy. read more

I came in to get my medication and they said come back in 2 hours it has being 2 1/2 hours and they said it will be ready In 15 minutes before that I called them to check about my prescription and my wife as well the gentleman that helped me hung up on me before I could check on both prescriptions as well when I came in the 1st time to check on the prescriptions they were 2 lady's that were at the doctor with me and they got their prescriptions within 15 minutes but not me idk why they really don't do a good job and they are not attentive if you have a chance send your prescriptions somewhere else all we need it was our prescriptions bc we feel so bad suck but good luck guys read more

I come here because it's literally 2 minutes from my house, but bear in mind that things seem to hardly be restocked and almost every time I go to check out there are no employees at the registers, but there will be an employee doing something down one of the isles and I'm just stuck standing there for 5 minutes waiting. I was in such a hurry to get my posters since I needed them by tonight. I had put the order in at 9:20pm and I got a text saying they would be done at 9:48pm which worked out for me. On my way there, I had gone to the wrong Walgreens and it was already 9:53pm and the website said they closed at 10pm. I quickly drove to the Walgreens in Washington and Avenue 42 and it was 9:58pm. I asked for help at the photo register and this amazing lady name Denise helped me out. She reassured me that they were closing at 11 not 10 which was such a relief. She was almost done printing them all out and I only waited for 10 minutes for all my 6 posters. She cut them right then and there and even charged me at the photo station as well. She was such a savior since I needed the posters in such a short notice and she was so understanding and had such an uplifting mood and spirit. I would definitely recommend being helped by her since she made my night so much easier and saved me so much time next morning! read more

I needed to get my booster shot before the holiday season, so that I could congregate with family and friends safely. I work 6 days out of the week, so I could really only get the shot before my day off, so that I could use my day off to recover. I called Walgreens to schedule an appointment, and despite the state of CA allowing for myself to be eligible for the booster, the robot on the phone would not allow me to make an appointment. So, I go onto their website. It lists this location as a walk-in location for the booster shot, so I go in to get my booster. Then what happens? The pharmacist contradicts the Walgreens website and tells me that the store doesn't accept walk ins. So I make an appointment for the only day that I would be able get the shots that was conducive to my work schedule and holiday plans. I show up for my appointment today, and they have closed their pharmacy. Without notifying me, altering my appointment for a later time, or sending me to another location that would honor my appointment. No such help. More like, sorry, not sorry. I go to a neighboring Walgreens, and they refuse to honor the appointment. So, this Walgreens and the other basically screwed me. Now I will have to try to make an appointment with another pharmacy, and will not receive my booster before the holidays. Walgreens has lost my business. If I ever have to choose between a CVS, Rite Aid, or 7-11, I will choose any alternative over Walgreens. read more

The Walgreens company lack of respect for their employees couldn't be more clear than their Pharmacy presence. Waited in the car line for over 1 hour to be told that I need to return in 3 hours to pick up the prescription. After receiving an email notification & hearing the robocall advise me that the order was ready for pickup, I returned & waited another 30 minutes before anyone would even acknowledge I was at the window. Of course 1 of the 3 prescriptions could not be located and instead of just refilling the prescription that could not be found, I was told I needed to return tomorrow morning! This will be 3 visits which typically is a 1 visit ordeal with any competent pharmacy. After tomorrow. I am changing to Rite Aide. They have a pharmacist who does subject matter work, a nurse on staff who administers shots & a staff that works with the general public. Unlike Walgreens where the pharmacist wears all the hats! Shame on this corporation for abusing customer service for profit. read more

We had our best experience so far at this Walgreens ; woohoo hands up for Valerie she made my lil ones day by handing her squishmallow she was looking for but it wasn't only for that even the cashier and the team were respectful and welcoming. Valerie was amazing and kind she double check for her knowing we were leaving because we were there for water and Arizona but came out with squishmallow this was around 1-3 . This Walgreens pharmacy has to be the most inept customer service I've dealt with. Never will do business with them again.

My experience has been with the photo department. The passport photos are in bad lighting and blurry. The associate helping us was rude through and through. We wanted her to retake the pictures because of bad quality and she refused by saying that we can take the bad pictures or leave without any. I was laughing in reaction to her comments. "That's how we do it here" she said. I couldn't believe it. Also, if you need 6 copies you will have to pay 3 times for a set of 2 pictures totaling almost $40. Crazy! $40 for 6 small and badly taken passport photos. I think Walgreens is getting cocky or greedy. Anyhow, we drove to Walgreens in La Quinta on Washington and they were super. Great pictures, (well, as good as they get at Walgreens) but a great associate who made us a super deal. We will go there now for our needs. The manager at this Bermuda Dunes location should better observe this employee at the photo department and her customer service skills or her lack there of. read more

Only in California in 2022 can a store that is supposed to be a pharmacy keep their store open, but close their pharmacy for an undetermined amount of days. Their service stunk before they closed the pharmacy, hopefully, if they reopen it will be with an entirely different staff. read more

I've been coming to this Walgreens for years and glad to see its still around. It's located in a primetime shopping complex and has plenty of parking. It's open 24/7, unlike the other recent Walgreens I have seen in the desert. They have a redbox at this location along with a drive-thru pharmacy. This Walgreens is set up like the other Walgreens and has all the necessities that you need. Staff is helpful and kind. Prices are fair for being located so close to home, but the Walgreens card helps to reap the discounts. I recommend getting the card because it's free and helps you build points to redeem as cash. Overall 5 stars in my opinion because it's 24/7 and has what you need at great prices with their savings card! Have not dealt with the pharmacy section, so can't really take stars away for that haha read more

Would NOT recommend getting a PCR test done here for any reason especially if you need it in a timely manner. I knew I was positive from an at home test but need a PCR for school. Anyways I did the test on a Sunday and was told it would be ready in 48hrs. 48hrs rolled around and nothing so I called Walgreens when they told me it was still processing, fine so I waited another 24th called back where they told me the same thing so I got a # for LAB Corp they were so nice and told me they did not receive the sample until Wednesday. Now to Thursday I get a message from Walgreens finally with my results stating "inconclusive " of course probably because it was sitting around to long before being tested. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I want to add the women I spoke to from Walgreens was repeatedly rude on the phone, she never let you finish talking before putting you on hold. One time she ever answered the phone laughing with a co worker than slammed it back on hold. She's probably under paid and over worked but should still have better training in customer service. read more

After waiting 15 minutes I honked a couple times. Still didn't move. I called Walgreens (WAITED ON HOLD FOR 14 MINUTES) only to be told that they asked the car to move but the people refused to leave! The woman working there just kept making excuses and didn't even apologize or offer a solution. I told her that someone working there needed to make them move. Just tried to buy cough drops at this place. Got to the register and one clerk hands another clerk a stack of bills and says "$1,000." The other clerk counts it, says no it's $850, and hands the stack back to the first clerk who recounts the stack as $1,000. The other clerk recounts the stack of bills to less than $1,000 handing the stack back to the other clerk who begins recounting the stack of bills. They will not wait on customers until these two can reach the same count. It was pure idiocy on full display and astonishing for two people whose very job is to count money. I left the cough drops on the counter and exited the store while the two clerks kept on counting. They're probably still at it. read more

The photo products you can get here are great. They always have good deals on photos every week, and sometimes I print out photos just to have them. There are neat send out items as well, like custom Christmas cards I got. The manager Scott is always very kind and helpful when I need help with the machines. He seems to know pretty much everything that I have no idea how to do. read more

If I could give this Walgreens -0 Stars I would! Don't ever come here; how they got 3 Stars is beyond my comprehension. I first walked in and the Manger walked by me and ignored the 7 people waiting in line to be checked out by one checker. I said,"Maybe I should go somewhere else with this wait?" The Manager didn't respond by opening a second register to help and quickly disappeared. I spent a long time carefully picking out products and jotting prices down on my phone. After several discrepancies in prices at the checkout; an Assistant Manager came over and was extremely rude. She said just because the sale price sticker is below a product doesn't make it on sale. Then the final blow....they told me I didn't have any points on my Walgreens Rewards Card even though I just had received an email from Walgreens saying I had $55.00 of Rewards. She replied they probably expired and didn't help me look into the discrepancy or give me any contact information. No one is minding this store and people aren't getting the discounts posted because they haven't been entered into the computer/cash registers at check out. Two individuals at the Pharmacy came to pick up their prescriptions, which they had been notified in advance were ready and the busy young Pharmacist said the store's computer wasn't working. Yeah, I know! To top it off a man yelled at the cashier when I was checking out saying, "This woman has to pee; can we get the restroom code?!" The cashier said there were only two people working and she'd have wait. "Well she is going to pee her pants then!" I can't imagine a more horrible shopping experience! the worst pharmacy service I have ever had, I had used walgrees for medicine for years in Lathrop Ca, we moved to this area, and I thought that in all walgrees the service would be just as good in any city and with everything and recipe in hand after having gone to emergency room, the pharmacist did not want to give me more than half of the medicine saying that it was a recharge and I had to go to the pharmacy of Kaiser for my antibiotic! and they did not give it to me, I just need the medicine, I'm sick! after 2 days I have not resolved anything neither this pharmacy nor in the other, but everything started with the pharmacist in charge of here, very rude by the way and not at all friendly neither she knows how to explain why not, they can give the medicine if the prescription It is literally in your hands! do something! terrible service!!! This Walgreens is the slowest drive thru pharmacy in the Desert. It's always under staffed and takes 20+ mins even if only 1 car ahead of you. The Phone pharmacy service in no better, have been on hold for 25 mins, with recording coming on " you are the next caller." They need more people. read more
