we are unable to find our script at another Walgreens on North Market so 3 months ago we started going to the one on airline Dr and the the third month the pharmacist said we will need a doctors note that we don't get anything else prescribed. WHAT!!! These people are able to see everything u get filled from anywhere. And no we only get one prescription in the last 3 years. I need to know what the rules are here because even tho we changed stores it WAS STILL WALGREENS. read more

There always seems to be a line at the pharmacy drive thru. Plenty of parking. Inside is clean and well organized. Employees are friendly enough. Inside and outside is well lit. It is easy to get into the parking lot, but can be tricky leaving. I am only here on occasion for business, so maybe locals know of an easier way to exit the parking lot thru another exit. read more

This Walgreens is awful compared to others I've been too. Everything is pricey at all Walgreens, but the pharmacy in specific here is horrible. The main pharmacist is an older guy that doesn't seem to know anything and the younger employees have to go behind him and correct everything. He also can't hear anything on the phone and asked the same question about 5 times. They keep you on hold for periods of 15+ minutes on a regular basis. They also don't help you ensure you get the right amount of medication needed, and can't keep it in stock. I ran out of 1 of my medicines, gave them a 2 week notice to fill it and they told me it's on back order. Called back a week later still back ordered and told to keep waiting. Called back with 2 days left and still couldn't get it, and when I asked if they could help me find it at another pharmacy she told me I could call Walmart or Sam's club but they don't do that. My last Walgreens definitely did that but ok. Called CVS, not only did they have this super back ordered product on hand but they filled it the same day and I was able to pick it up and continue my medication with no break. I switched all medications on the spot and will not be returning to Walgreens. read more

I dropped of my prescription after waiting in line for an hour. I came back the next day at 9am and waited in line again for over 1/2 an hour only to be told that the prescription will not be ready until the end of the day at 4:30 pm. If you want your prescription filled in a timely manner, do not come here! I am giving one star because there isn't a lower rating. read more

First I sat at the drive thru window for ten minutes before someone told me they close for lunch a sign in the window would have been nice. When I returned after their lunch I presented my goodrx coupon then was told to come back in twenty minutes. The store looks dirty and unkept. This was literally the worst experience I've ever had with any business ever. My friend had an APPOINTMENT for covid testing so that he could fly home. What's the point of an appointment if you have to wait for over 30 minutes to get it? If we had time to spare, we would have gotten tested at a hospital. Their service is terrible and the workers are incredibly rude. There were cars backed up because they were taking their sweet sweet time. This was the most frustrating experience I have ever encountered. Also doesn't help that their phones are automated so you can get any answers. Just don't even come here. read more

I am finally posting a review because my experiences with Walgreens are always so bad here in Shreveport/Bossier, LA. Right now my current insurance only approves Walgreens prescriptions so I have no other choice but that will hopefully soon change and I will not have to use them ever again. I just want this behavior exposed on Yelp for the public to know what I experienced and probably many, many others as well. 1.) I was waiting inside in the waiting area for a prescription, and the pharmacy technician filling my prescription loudly announced the name of my medicine and what I was taking it for so that the entire pharmacy area could hear it!! He was just walking around talking aloud as if what he was saying was public information for all 10-12 people present to be privy to. He was looking around and pointing at me and saying to his coworkers "Ms's over there is waiting on (blank) for (blank)"! This is a violation of my privacy and I felt humiliated to say the least. I had just moved here and wasn't familiar with all the locations, but I did not go back to that location. 2.) I refilled a prescription through the app ahead of time to save time (NOT!) and went the next day to pick it up. The lines inside at 7:30 pm were horrible and only 3 cars in drive-thru so chose to do drive-thru. At least then I can sit and wait in comfort and not have to be exposed to constant incompetence and rudeness to myself other patients ahead of me. I waited over an hour in that drive-thru! Both lanes were open according to the sign, but the one and only car in the outside lane never moved the entire time that I was there. That poor woman was still sitting there waiting when I left. The pharmacy tech did not greet me, was not pleasant to me or treat me with dignity or respect or show any other form of behavior that even resembled an ounce of empathy or human decency for interacting with customers. Walgreens customers coming to the drive-thru to pick up prescriptions are either a patient, patient advocate, or otherwise a customer of some sort. She was silent and just opened the drawer to me as if I knew what she wanted me to put in it. Once I started talking she picked up her phone and rudely interrupted and said, "what's the name?" No response back, just disappeared for several minutes then again the drawer comes at me with no verbal communication whatsoever. Am I a mind reader? When I start to speak, again she rudely interrupts me with an angry/irritated tone of the dollar amount due. This continues on a bit through the transaction as I have set up express pay but she said she "doesn't see it" and even though this is how I've always paid in the past, she is arguing with me and starting to raise her voice at me about it. I paid with my card and left as quickly as I could to get away from there. The point is, I believe this is a systemic problem with Walgreens. I think it all depends on who's allowing this behavior to continue. The District Manager is at fault, for one. Go down from there. I am in a medical ethics class for Occupational Therapy and this behavior is a violation and should be corrected. read more

It does not matter what time of the day I call I wait 15 minutes or more before someone will help me. The drive thru is down to one lane and you wait forever. The people are generaly nice but your wait time is horrible at this location. Considering moveing to CVS because of your wait time read more

Horrible horrible customer service. One of the pharmacy techs mumbles so bad you can't understand a word he says, and what you can understand, he's incredibly rude. My family and I share the same rewards card, when I went to pick up my last script, he tried to aggressively push another rewards card on me. I told him that I already have one just didnt have it on me and that I did NOT want another. So he took my phone number off the prescription and signed me up for another card with out asking. When I told him that I didn't want him to do that, he mumbled that "You should be happy, you get money back." I'm quite aware I get money back, that's why I signed up for it over a year ago. So now every time I get a script filled, it automatically goes to the new rewards card and NOT the one that we've already accumulated over 200,000 points on. Thanks jack-ass. Steer clear of this Walgreens. This guy is just one of the many problematic employees that work in that pharmacy. read more
