Needless t say we never even had the conversation. I went there due to all the positive feedback and drove an hour to do so. A total waste of my time. I replaced them as soon as I got home. I would not touch them with a stick. Horrible. I felt like I was 10 and my mother climbed out of her grave to mansplane the world. Never again.

Nathan, the pharmacist is aware of everything and always acknowledges customers. I was floored that he knew my name! There is never a wait and I get a text when my prescription is ready. Today pharmacist/co-owner Nathan answered the questions that I posed of a medical device that I use and of a few nutritional supplements that I contemplated buying from him. He was a pleasure to talk to. The store associate was helpful, too, asking me if there was anything she could help me with. What I especially like about this pharmacy is that it is open on Sundays although only for four hours. Costco Pharmacy, where I usually get my medications filled, is not open that day. The only negative about New Island Pharmacy is that it is quite small, and parking is tight.

My family has used Vanco for years and I never got around to switching pharmacies until my recent doctor's appointment. I am so happy I switched to Vanco, I walked inside the store, walked back to the pharmacy and picked up my prescription within the same minute. Not nearly as crowded and very pleasant staff waiting to greet and help you, I highly recommend and will never go back to CVS.

They expanded, as they should…read morehave given their amazing customer service in the beginning, and I have never been more disappointed prior to this week with both the pharmacy and their delivery service combined. I have not one but 2 credit cards on file. The pharmacy technicians don't call me to set up delivery anymore as they are too busy, which is fine. Their delivery system RX2GO no longer sends any text message to confirm delivery or provide a link to track where the driver is and what time you should be expecting a person considering you have to sign for it. Yesterday, Friday- after speaking with one of their newer pharmacists whom ensured me my antibiotics for a severe mouth infection were out for delivery- never did she mention a single word about a second medication being delivered that was not provided earlier in the week nor did she ever inquire about ANY payment note that apparently was written for the delivery drivers to collect "$65 CASH OR NO MEDICATION TO BE LEFT WITH CUSTOMER". Patients go to pharmacies. Not customers #1. #2. One of the owners assured me this was not the case and I would have my medication without issue. Needless to say. I did not have $65 cash payment to give a random delivery driver that was never something that ever occurred in over 8 years of using Main Source, and the driver explained this "strict" note on my account forced him to keep my medication from me and drove away with it. I tried reaching out to Main Source a second time after the incident which was not surprisingly unsuccessful as they are closed on Saturdays. I am awaiting a second attempt of the medication delivery today with no clear indication of the RX2GO drivers arrival. I contacted the "operator" of RX2GO whom was able to assure me I must have $65 cash payment or they will leave a second time with medication that is imperative to stop an infection from potentially spreading to the optic nerve in my eye and eliminating a trip to the emergency room. I have previously written an amazing review for this pharmacy, however this experience has left me with no choice but to warn others of the potential and to request all of my prescriptions be released to ensure this can never happen again.

I went in to refill a script. The young lady can barely speak English then pulled up a medication I…read morehadn't taken in years. When she finally found what I was asking for she claimed they didn't have it. I left then called asking to speak to the manager then asked him to cancel my acct for those reasons. Six months later my doctors office sent a script there in error. I called the 2 current pharmacies I'd been using, neither had the script. Called doc then called Islip Pharmacy. Yes they had it but weren't filling it because I cancelled my account-CLICK. She hung up on me!! I had been waiting 3 or 4 days now for my script the least they could've done was to call me and explain. I asked to speak to the manager she replies 'I am the manager'. I don't want someone who can barely speak English and get so much wrong to handle my needs.
