With that being said, unfortunately, I have to change my own personal policies. I went into the 201 Glenn St., Glen Cove location and encountered an employee named Nicole. Not only was she extremely rude and dismissive over my an extremely simple location product. She specifically told me, she does not have the time for me nor my concern and needs. Although, I understand that perhaps "college students" do not honor customer service, there is a line that Nicole crossed. I would hope for all of the CVS locations, they receive better treatment than I have from Grace. CVS is a very important community staple. I would be deeply saddened if one employee named Grace, forces the community to seek more cooperative knowledge, respectfully staff to keep CVS running smoothly and continuing to be the "go-to" for all Long Island customers. Kindness and consideration go far, especially in a pharmacy.

This review is solely for Lori Pessone at cosmetic center…read more Today I would like to call it my lucky day because of Lori. I ran into Walgreens to find a eyeliner for an emergency rescue. I am an ignorant when comes to makeups. I rarely put any on. At most I would just do eye liner and some facial foundation. I started searching at the cosmetic area and so not productive. I heard someone asked a customer if she needed help on finding things and the customer declined. I did not know what happened at the same moment I just went over her asked if she could help me find a day brown eye liner ( normally I would never ask anyone in store to help because I would be so embarrassed that if people knew I knew nothing about cosmetic and makeup. But I am SO glad I walked out my comfort zone today. She is Lori Pessone! An angle came down to rescue me. Lori first looked st my face quickly and pin pointed my skin problems. She was so knowledgeable and so patient about all skin types, completion s and colors! We went through from lip stick, eye shadow, eye liner, cleanser, brush, moisturizer etc. For the first time, I got a color that was PERFECT for my complexion!!! I was so thrilled! I could saw a much more beautiful me instantly in the mirror at the store! I could NOT believe it happened in a Walgreens! LOL! Lori asked me what moisturizer I currently use. I said La Mer. She made a funny face right after and told me why.... she taught me how to professionally clean up my face with cleanser she highly recommended, as well as how to apply makeup correctly. Lori is so knowledgeable and she absolutely took time with me on trying colors that she saw unique and fabulous in me from a licensed makeup artist view. I honestly thought I would never look pretty in makeups. But Lori changed that today! She not only picked up all my makeup needs but also all came in with great prices! I can not wait I wake up tomorrow and put on a brand new "face"! Thank you, Lori!! Beautiful things can happen in Walgreens. Lol. I would start going here rather than going to department stores from now. Love it!

The proprietor very kindly offered me information on their delivery service, which would be super helpful if I still lived here on Long Island. Prices were reasonable for the items I purchased. It helps when Yuri is there to answer all your questions for any need. He is exceedingly helpful and will go above and beyond. The aisle are spaced apart and easy to move around in the store. It's not cluttered but there are a variety of pharmacy items available. There are other items that are not medicine related available. I highly recommend this place with filling of subscriptions or pharmacy needs. This is the next best thing to CVS but on a personal level to it. The place is Village Square Pharmacy

Well, because on this Labor Day weekend, our adult daughter is staying with us, but unfortunately, she has forgotten to bring along her daily maintenance medication, and she hasn't been taking it for about three days. As a result of the abrupt discontinuation, she has experienced a variety of debilitating symptoms and has been feeling very much under the weather. So, on my wife's advice, I went to our favorite CVS store and asked the pharmacist on duty to please advance two pills for her so that she could resume taking her pills & start feeling better. "No problem", the CVS pharmacist told me right away with no further questions asked and instantly advanced three pills (without any charge)...just a friendly smile. I had gone to Stop and Shop Pharmacy in the Wheatly Plaza Shopping Center and they were lovely and looked up Good RX for me on a number of prescriptions, never requiring me to do it myself. I just paid $50.00 more than I should have because the pharmacist at CVS did not want to bother. I think I will change back to the Stop and Shop. It is a longer ride for me but they are more interested in keeping my business. If you want the best deal on your prescriptions go to Stop and Shop instead of CVS

Store is very nice. They have great items for gifts (birthday, housewarming, you name it) and they will gift wrap. They have saved me more than once. I'm not a Vera Bradley person but they stock lots of it! Yes, you will find more toiletries, first aid stuff at CVS but Glen Head Pharmacy has the basics as well as more upscale items.
