I often ride my motorcycle to Connecticut, since Rhode Island is so small and the condition of the roads pales in comparison to Connecticut. I've stopped here for drinks and gas either on my way out, or on my way home. They have Mobil gasoline, plus separate diesel and kerosene pumps on the left side of the store. There a decent selection of drinks and snacks, and the store seems pretty clean, well-stocked and well-organized. While there is a customer bathroom, it is actually a porta-potti outdoors, behind the building, so it's like roughing it for people who might be more sensitive to those sort of things (although it beats going in the woods). Be careful pulling out (especially if you're on a motorcycle), since it's at the top of a hill, cars travel pretty fast and you can only see so far out before a car pops over the crest of the hill. One time a few years ago - I will never forget - I was coming back from a motorcycle ride in Connecticut, where I had gotten caught in heavy rain. It was either dusk or dark, but anyway, I went inside to prepay for my gas. There was a customer ahead of me, but the cashier was extremely chatty with this customer, so much so that a puddle of water formed on the floor beneath me while I waited.

The normal convenient store I go to was closed. This is the next closest one. Go into the store looking for Tylenol. Ask if they have a card minimum and the masked old lady after huffing and puffing tells me yes but if I choose debit it will cost her less. I was cool with purchasing something else cause I know how that goes. I said since it costs you a fee I'll go grab some drinks. I go to the back cooler and an older gentleman comes out of the stock room. He, WITHOUT A MASK ON and gets as close as he possibly could to me. I grab my drinks, go back up to the counter grab my Tylenol and unpleasantly check out with the old lady. I will say it was an added touch for the unmasked many to start wiping the door handles after I left. But man they really need to practice what they preach and if he's going to do that provide some ample space.
