The pharmacy is completely incompetent and useless. We have given them multiple opportunities to get our prescriptions right over a number of years. Now we are done and have switched to other pharmacies preferred by our insurance. Our most recent example of their unacceptable performance: had a new prescription sent to them from my provider on 4/7/26. Followed up with the pharmacy multiple times until 4/17/26 when we were told that the provider cancelled the order. This was incorrect! Called provider and asked for prescription to be rerouted to Costco. Costco staff was extremely polite, competent, and efficient and the prescription was filled within 1 hour. This is just one example of many. We will not be returning to Walgreens Central Point. We do not recommend this pharmacy. Zero stars would be the appropriate rating level. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever gone to. They never answer the phone. I have been on hold for an hour to ask about my prescription. I would do it automatically if I could but there is information I have to give to a human. I'm not just calling to get the price of something its important. Maybe you should hire more people. Went to their pharmacy for flu and covid vaccine. Sneeze guard plexiglass at counter is filled with spots of others germs. Windex and paper towels are right there on the shelf. the pharmacists claim they are scientists, why not keep a clean shop? Disappointing and filthy to say the least. read more

Came in needing to print one picture from phone at 9:25pm when they close at 10. The guy told me it was ok but I could tell he didn't want me too, mentioning they are closing soon. Because the picture was older I had to load all pictures from my phone which took about 20 minutes. In the middle the guy asked what inspired me to come in to print a picture tonight, in a very passive aggressive way. 5 minutes later another guy came over, asked me what was going on with the kiosk, I started explain but he didn't want to hear, as he unplugged my phone, said I can't do it tonight, and said some BS story about a system restart schedule for tonight. He shouldn't have grabbed my phone. Anyway hopefully this is one of the Walgreens that closes. read more

I will never return to this pharmacy, I came from Portland from a Rite Aid that always only had three people working and they were super efficient and most refills were done within 15 to 20 minutes. This pharmacy has a line inside and through the drive-through. I've never seen people move so slow and passive aggressively as this pharmacy and the pharmacist has terrible people skills, shows no concern for the customer and yet Walgreens keeps this guy employed. CVS and Walmart are quick, professional and actually care and that's all you can ask from the pharmacy. read more

For prescription drugs Walgreens is completely understaffed. Long waits. See elderly that have trouble standing with nobody offering them a chair. One person looked visibly I'll and needed her prescription inhaler asap and barely got it in time. People are nice, it is just understaffed by corporate. read more

I have no idea what is happening with this location. I transfered my Rx here and I have never had so many issues. 1. NO ONE in the pharmarmay ever answers the phone. For days I have tried to get through and am always told I am on hold with three people infront of me. 2. They ALWAYS have insurance claim issues with my Rxs that I've never had anywhere else - even other Walgreens. 3. I get texts that my Rx is ready to pick up and go to the pharmacy the SAME DAY to pick them up and the pharmacy is randomly closed (not for a lunch break , but for the full day). Then they call me the next day they are open to tell me they will take it off the shelf if I don't pick it up that day. In fact, I scheduled vaccinations for my mom and myself one day and got a reminder that morning and showed up that afternoon at our scheduled time and the pharmacy was closed. 4. I call other departments to get transfered and they still don't answer the phone and I get a message after letting it ring for 2-3 minutes that there is a system error and they hang up. I'm currently working to transfer my Rx to another pharmacy. read more

Pharmacy experience is horrible! Sat there waiting for an hour and a half and when they told me it was ready I went up and they told me they can't fill it without doctor approval.... The doctor is the one that sent it over! Plus they never said anything when I was sitting there all that time so I told them I'm not leaving without it and they were all of a sudden able to fill it but it wasn't even for the full amount so I just gave up and took it... Somebody needs to manage that place better, unfortunately I will have to keep going there because of the location but if you have other options avoid this place at all costs! Unless you like waiting for 2 hours only to find out they aren't gonna fill it and didn't bother to let you know plus you will even get a notification saying it's ready even though it's not! read more

Pharmacist Thinh Dang refused to fill my family member's prescription for pain medication that they rely on to manage severe and legitimate pain due to a severe and chronic autoimmune disease. Dang told my family member that the prescription (which has been unchanged for years) seemed "sketchy," and unnecessarily made her feel as if she was drug seeking. This harassment and unkind treatment is exactly NOT how a pharmacist should treat the patients he is there to help. The pharmacy insisted on getting a brand new prescription, which was difficult to obtain in a timely manner due to the disruption that the Obenchain and Almeda fires had on my family member's small doctor office. (The small office had to be evacuated and several employees lost homes and were unable to work their normal hours.) By the time my family member obtained their needed medication, over 24 hours later, they were already unnecessarily experiencing withdrawal symptoms in addition to their unmanaged pain. If it had been any longer, we would have needed to go to the emergency room, unnecessarily exposing my immunocompromised family member to COVID. I do not know why Dang decided to randomly attempt to self patrol the opioid crisis in the middle of wildfires and a pandemic, using my immunocomprised family member as the example, but his bizarre and ill timed power grab certainly was not appreciated by me or my family. read more

New store with everything needed from a Walgreens. Store seems to have a good customer base and customer service is ok. Nice to have the business in town for what it provides. I have heard from others it has been a great thing for Central Point. We are disappointed that the pharmacy does not support military insurance as we found out the hard way. We lost our other local pharmacy due to Walgreens coming and now have to travel father away to use our benefit. With an a VA facility and a National Guard unit in the area you would figure they would support the military. read more

Ordered 1 hour processing yesterday for Christmas cards. 5 hours later it still shows processing. I called at 5:30 pm and was told that they were having problems with their printer and the cards would not be done by closing. The guy said they had a call in for repair and to call back in the morning and they could give me an update. I tried calling all morning and kept getting a recording that they were temporarily closed. At 1:00pm I called and somehow got transferred to customer service in Arizona who said they have no information and no way to find out. I called one of the Medford locations who could not get any information on my order and said that the Central Point location is open but did not have a way to contact. I drove down and sure enough they were open. I went into the photo department to find out that the printer had not been fixed. They had no information on when it would be fixed. When I asked how to get a hold of them since their phone says they are closed he called a manager. A girl came out and was not aware phones were not working. ( I don't believe her) she then went in back and said since they were closed yesterday their phone had not reset and it should work in an hour. (Funny...they were open yesterday when I called) I asked about my order again and she said you can cancel it if you want. She said we have a call in for repair and waiting for a call back. All I could do was look at her and say how do you expect to get a call back from the repair man when you have your phones turned off. She again just said you can cancel your order if you want. Such terrible service! I understand holidays and I understand things can break down but at least be honest and respectful to your customers! I am still waiting for my 42.00 order as it's too late to order anywhere else and hope my cards get to family and friends by the new year read more

Love walgreens- great location, all the pharmacy staff are kind and helpful. I'm in there alot and know I will be helped promptly. Also love the drive-up window option! Store is clean and masks are worn - hand sanitizer available entering and existing. I enjoy the usualfriendly greeting when walking in. I've been a longtime customer and have using this location since it opened. After my experience Saturday I will never again step foot in any Walgreens. The night manager, Ernest, isn't at all fit for such a position. He displayed horrid customer service skills, was beyond condescending and left the clear impression that he's completely disinterested in upholding a basic level of respect for patrons. It would not surprise me at all if Ernest's employment causes large financial losses for the Central Point location. read more

Customer service and confidentiality at the Walgreens pharmacy in Central Point are non-existent. Pharmacy tech repeated my name, address and phone number out loud but did not confirm the Rx I was picking up (which turned out to be wrong). So frustrated I left and said I would come back later. Good place to stop for water bottles, other drinks, and last minute household supplies, but other than that it's quite pricey.

The pharmacy is very friendly and seem to be alot faster filling scripts then other walgreens. However they are very picky about filling on exact dates. I had a great experience with the photo department. An employee name Lee took his time to help me. I was getting photo cups and canvases made and i kept changing my mind but he just smiled and helped me. I didnt feel like i was a bother. The store is beautiful as well. Good place to go. read more

My insurance says this is a preferred pharmacy. This is why I stayed with them as long as I have. Surviving rude pharmacy techs, waiting forever in the store for prescriptions, mistakes made on filling my medications, countless phone calls from them about a prescription that was ready, and the list goes on until today! I had enough! The rudest tech who talked down to me and over me and did not know what she was talking about was the last straw. I asked to speak with her manager who was also rude and ill informed. They need to get up to date on what is going on in the world. I will gladly now pay more for my medications at another pharmacy that isn't preferred. Don't use this pharmacy! read more

Whatever you do, do not use their pharmacy. Mail order or otherwise. They strung me along for over a week without refilling my rx claiming they couldn't find my insurance. I tried a different card, and still the same response. I called both of my insurances, whom claimed I was active, and weren't sure what the issue was. Come to find out, for whatever reason they are unable to do mail order with me, but instead of just telling me that I ended up being without my meds for over 2 weeks, and I was sent into withdrawals.
