It's been awhile since I've visited this Walgreens, but I was looking for a vitamin e product and according to Walgreens.com this was one of the few places near me that had it in stock. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. It took a little longer than I expected because the pharmacy was so busy I had to locate it on my own. But I found it and was able to check out quickly. The store was well stocked and I love that Walgreens takes Apple Pay. Kudos for the website having accurate info! read more

Very disappointing customer service. We sat at the window for about 25 minutes before finally being helped. When the lady came to the window, she simply handed us the prescription and walked away without saying hello, goodbye, or even having a good day. She also rolled her eyes, which came across as extremely rude and unprofessional. We understand that people can have busy or stressful days, but customers should still be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Definitely not the kind of experience we expected. read more

Even though this Walgreens in a sketchy area, it has served me great for years. The staff is friendly and the pharmacy is helpful. I love the fact that they are across from the hospital. I also like the fact that they have a drive thru. My only draw back is when you order in the app for them to brink to the car...it takes them a long time and you have to call them to come out. read more

The estimated pick up time has no basis in reality. In my experience they are always about 2-3 hours past that. And the pickup time is usually about 1.5 hours after they receive the order. If you call to enquire about a new pickup time, they are evasive or transfer you to someone who disconnects you. They just repeat "they are very busy'". I asked what their Store goal was for fill times and the tech repeated he wasn't sure what I was talking about. There should be goals, measurements against the goals, and action plans if goals not met. If you need something within an hour, or even two hours, I would look elsewhere. This store is understaffed. Period. Once you get to the store it is another 30-40 minutes to wait in line for the perscription. I will be changing pharmacies after today. Been putting up with this poor service way too long. read more

Every time I come to this Walgreens their is always a line. The staff is slow as molasses! Corp needs to come here unannounced and correct this problem. Completely A-OK Walgreens. Neat, tidy, well stocked early on Sunday morning when I needed some allergy pills. Easy enough to find exactly what I wanted with a clearly displayed price tag. Two or three staffers were shelving stuff and another at the register so no waiting! Apparently it's not uncommon and it appears I will not get my meds in time for my flight. This Walgreens has gotten a lot of hate it seems. I come here all the time and I really don't see why. 24-hour retail store, 24-hour pharmacy, and overall a great staff from what I've seen. As far as layout, I think it's quite simple. You can kind of break it into four quadrants: As you walk in you're in the makeup and beauty dept, going clockwise you have grocery and convenience consumables, next is OTC medicine, finally the back corner has homegoods and general merchandise. I came in tonight to get a prescription filled (and if you follow my check ins then sorry I've been complaining about this sinus infection for hours now!) and while it took a litter longer than their estimate, who cares? I'm getting prescriptions filled at 9:30pm, I'll take what I can get. While I was waiting, I chit-chatted with a manager I've seen nearly everytime I've been in here, Chuck. They have a nice friendly staff from what I can tell. Parking lot is kind of crazy, but large for a Walgreens. I suggest you back in to a spot so you can just drive off when you're done, so you don't get in an avoidable accident. Last but not least, the pharmacy tech advised me to get the OTC version of the nasal spray I was prescribed as it was much cheaper and the exact same active ingredient. I've tried to go to this store twice for 2 different types of photo orders because this company had the best deals/promotions at the time. Both times their equipment was down, but nobody bothered to call to tell me between the time I got the order confirmation and the time I showed up. So now I'm in a time crunch to figure out a back up plan because THEIR EQUIPMENT NEVER WORKS AND THEY ARE SO RUDE ABOUT IT. If you have a lot of patience, or have absolutely no schedule to maintain, by all means shop here! While the staff is nice, the checkout process is never speedy; even when the store is empty. The pharmacy drive thru is even slower. Again, I've never had a bad experience with the staff, but geez?! I don't have all day to spend here. They service one lane of the drive thru at a time, so it defeats the purpose of having two lanes. Other places I've been help both lanes simultaneously so it goes faster. Maybe it's a staffing issue? On 6/21, John (Assistant Manager) refused to price match the exact same item that was not on sale, and found for a lower price on Walgreens' website. I called customer service to voice my concern and the representative mirrored my confusion. I decided to return all items purchased since John could have matched the price on Walgreens' website, and just simply refused to. Is this not a company that puts customers first? WORST pharmacy ever. As the reviews below show, Jessica is actually no a true pharmacist(so be aware). If you want your medicine filled correctly(with the correct medicine inside) and also on time, do not use this pharmacy. They have given out incorrect medicine to other customers in the past. Also the techs are all new, not sure of what they are doing when it comes to filling prescriptions and they also will lie with ease.(Jessica claims its bc of poor company training and blames it on her own company). Lastly they lose prescriptions often because of the disorganization. Honestly it is very sad and once again, I would not suggest this pharmacy to my WORST enemy. read more

The absolute worst pharmacy. Called 3 times in 24 hours just to get hung up on after being on hold for over 30 minutes each time. I spoke the manger he had to walk to the pharmacy to check on my prescription status just to be told it was never filled. I arrive this afternoon (the next day) and it still wasn't filled. For being in a reasonably modern stripmall, this Walgreens is wearing out fast. The floors are scuffed, the walls are dingy, and it even smells old. It's that combination of staleness and mustiness, like an old house just waiting for the end to come and relieve its misery. There is an analogous situation with the efficient but tired staff. On the up side, Walgreens has reserved about half of the complex's parking spaces, so I can't imagine that parking would ever be an issue. Kind of a dingy version of the Walgreen's chain of drug stores. I'm not sure how long it's been there but it seems like it has not aged well no matter how long it's been. Getting to the place is a challenge in this strip mall at the corner of Harris and Tryon but at least once you're there, the parking lot situation is not too bad given the decent number of reserved for Walgreen's spaces that exist. Finally, being open 24/7 is a plus at least. read more

This location is terrible. I called a few days ago to get a prescription, however my insurance needed to be changed. I called ahead to see if they could fill my prescription and I could just bring my insurance card. Of course they said yes on the phone, however when I got the pharmacy they did not have it and also could not figure out how to input my insurance card that I have used at multiple other pharmacies. Fast forward two days later, I call and say I will be using a GoodRx coupon instead and that I'd like to have my prescription filled when I arrive. I waited about thirty minutes, headed to the drive thru, where I was met with an hour-and-a-half wait. This may suffice for common medication, however having to sit in that line while ill was not ideal or comfortable at all. Unacceptable. Will be sending my prescriptions elsewhere from now on. read more

I just stopped in here very quickly on the way home from dinner uptown one nightZ we were out of laundry detergent. This a 24 hour location which is good to know because there are not too many around the University area. There was some laundry detergent on a shelf right in front of the automatic doors when I walked in which was super convenient. Plus it was on sale! You have got to love Walgreens sales. The clerk was very friendly and checked me out in a jiffy. The store appeared very clean and well stocked. I will definitely be back if I ever need a prescription filled after my pharmacys normal hours. Tip: they have redbox here like most Walgreens as well as a photo lab. They also have many convenience items like milk, eggs, and butter. Those things you might need to pick up on the way home but don't want to make the trek all the way into a Harris Teeter for. read more

Never had a problem with Walgreens until I started going to this location. (it was closer to my office) Needless to say, my doctor will send RX to CVS moving forward. Background: My RX is filled but apparently I cant pick it up until actual refill date. (Tried to pick it up 1 day before btw) The pharmacist there are difficult to deal with. This is the worst customer service I've ever seen in a pharmacy. I had a medication ordered for a medical procedure I was having on a Saturday morning. I went to the pharmacy on Friday evening after getting a text that my order was ready a few days before. After waiting in the drive thru for 25 minutes (at 11:45 pm) the pharmacist tells me the order was closed! And he didn't know who did it. I ended up having my procedure while unmedicated.
