The worst walgreens pharmacy! I travel a lot and have used several stores. This one consistently makes you wait for service. I went through the drive through to pick up today. I waited fifteen minutes and no one would assist. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions to CVS! read more

I know that my family switched over to this Walgreens for our prescriptions some years ago when the local Rite Aid's closed. We're probably going to have to discuss changing to a different pharmacy because it has been something else here lately... Some of the current pharmacists are very rude when speaking to you and half the time I don't think they know what they are doing. Whether that is poor training on Walgreens part I have no idea. Irregardless it's not good and honestly concerning. My Dad and I have the same first and last name, different middle names, different addresses, and different birthdays, yet there have been at least two instances where he has received my prescription by accident and vice versa. Walgreens warning... I want everyone to beware of Walgreens and their pricing. I have notice in the past year that more than 50% of the items I buy at our local Walgreens are priced incorrectly. I had 4 different items today and 3 of them were miss labeled on the shelf. They will honor the correct price but only if it's brought to their attention. I'm not sure if this is a labor, technical or incompetence issue or a way for this particular store to inflate their sales numbers. Please pay attention to what you buy and how much you pay. read more

This review is for the PHARMACY They gave my mother in the law THE WRONG prescription which then caused such a horrible reaction she had to go to the emergency room. My mother in law is in her 70s and lives alone. She had to take herself to the emergency room because of symptoms caused by the wrong medication being given. I won't go into specific details but all Walgreens could offer was an apology. Nothing else. No responsibility taken. THINK TWICE BEFORE DOING YOUR RX HERE. read more

The pharmacy here is overworked, understaffed, and probably under paid. The wait times are unbelievable. It's not the fault of the pharmacist. It clearly points to poor decisions by upper leadership. This is very disappointing as I have always felt Walgreens pharmacy was top notch...not anymore. Please get your prescriptions elsewhere. read more

The times I went there my experience was positive. I don't remember the lady's name. She was a manager and I was new to the area. The other Walgreens was closer but the experience there was not pleasant. read more

Friendly and Helpful Stopped in last night to get a new Passport Photo. Excellent service and had my photo in less than 10 minutes all properly sized to State Dept requirement. The photo technician was excellent and she managed to get a decent photo of me that looked better than the one on my Driver's License. All in all, it's a great store and we are in there for something at least once a week. Prices are good compared to the rest in the neighborhood and service is always good. read more

The pharmacist is ridiculously rude. It's not just a bad day, it's Every. Single. Time.

There is no excuse for the pharmacy wait times at the Walgreens at 19631 W Catawba Ave, Cornelius, NC I am sure they are over worked and under paid, and the management is clearly responsible for this train wreck. I have always been a Walgreens pharmacy fan boy, but this branch is just a bad apple. If you value your time go elsewhere until you see an 'under new management' sign. If you must use this branch pharmacy avoid the drive through, you have been warned :) read more

The absolute worst pharmacy around. My adult son, who is on my medical insurance was denied an important prescription because his name was not on my express scripts card. Guess what Walgreens, only the prescribers name exists on the card and not the dependents. Thanks for giving us a hard time and delaying my son's recovery. I usually don't review regular ol' retail stores, but if one strikes me in such a positive (or negative) way then I feel compelled to Yelp it up. This Walgreens, located near/in the Birkdale Commons area, warrants mention for its superior customer service. The miss' is a coupon monster, so each week she gathers up coupons, matches them to products on sale at the likes of Walgreens/CVS, etc., and then heads out to get those deals. One of these adventures took us to Walgreens today where there were several items on sale for the week. One item was out of stock on the shelf, and the employee stocking shelves nearby knew that they were out of them and directed us to fill out a rain check so that we could get those items at the sale price next week. May not seem out of the ordinary, but I've been to one too many stores where the employees on the sales floor either didn't know what the deal was with a product or would simply say "ummm I think we're sold out." Then when we were ready to pay, the cashier noticed one of the products my wife was purchasing and insisted on ringing us up at the cosmetics counter instead because she knew there were some manufacturer coupons for that product stashed away there. So the miss' ended up spending even less than anticipated thanks to a knowledgeable cashier who went out of her way to make sure we got the most out of our quest to save money. The only reason I give Walgreens four stars is because if it's not on sale that week, the product is most likely slightly overpriced and can be found cheaper somewhere like Target. Still, if you follow the weekly ads for the store, or if you need something from there quick, the helpful staff will make the experience as easy as possible. read more

I will never spend another dime in this Walgreens again. There staff is completely incompetent. Every time I go in there it's a terrible experience. The heavyset girl that works check out that looks like her life is miserable was very rude to my grandmother today as we were checking out. She said I don't know what's on sale I can't keep up with that and mumbled some other rude comments. Everytime I'm there which WAS on a weekly basis she is always rude and out of line. Also The day before I was in there and another employee dropped a gallon jug of water in the floor and it literally soaked my face and entire left side of my body and she didn't even apologize or offer to get me a paper towel. There's always a long line to wait in as well. They're all slow and rude. I never write reviews but I'm livid after the past two experiences there. read more

This store has very friendly employees. The pharmacy seems to be very efficient. I appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond. Due to the affluent area, I think they strive to meet the needs of their sometimes demanding patients. read more
