I cannot begin to say how frustrating the pharmacy is. This is the pharmacy that strives at not helping their customers. Always annoyed at all times. They can never make an effort to assist. It's always no, we cannot do that, no we cannot call, and they are combative with you. Above all they are unprofessional. In person and over the phone. You are left on hold time and time again, and when they pick up, if you are lucky they will say, "Hold", most of the times, they do not say anything. I have complained to the Manager of this location and nothing gets done. I understand we are all busy, but being a professional and having a smile on your face is 90 percent of a positive feeling the customer is receiving. Unfortunately, my experience at this Walgreens location has been profoundly disappointing. The level of disregard and lack of professionalism displayed by the staff is truly alarming. Not only do they lack empathy and basic courtesy toward patients, but they also abruptly hang up phone calls and consistently exhibit an apathetic and dismissive attitude. It is unacceptable for a healthcare-related establishment to treat individuals with such indifference. There is an urgent need for improvement in customer service and staff training. The pharmacy junior staff are friendly and helpful, the PharmDs are courteous if not friendly. The line is very long and slow at peak hours so I go off-peak with minor waits. The people who expect instant gratification are living in a dream world. My one criticism is that they take OTC items at the drug window when they should be sent up front; AND, they waste too much time with old non-Enlish patients explaining the drug insurance process, which they can't fathom regardless. They need to learn to tell patients to wait until a manager is available unless it is simple drop-off/pick-up. read more

Complete incompetency. I'm actually the Doctor Who prescribed 2 medications for a patient. Old lady. She goes to pick up the medication they only give her one they don't even explain that there is one missing the patient goes back home thinking that she only has one medication. Not a single warning not a single explanation that you have to wait for the second medication. I'm not even sure they took the second medication as a prescription. This is the most unprofessional Walgreens I have ever been to, not only are The pharmacist or whatever the heck they are, are slow, ignorant, and just not understanding their basic job duties. I called but of course was on hold with the pharmacist for about 30 minutes until I was hung up on, I ended up at the window with a rude lady call Daniella or whatever her name was very hard to understand her over the window. To tell me my medication would be done in an hour. In a hour to pack some medicine??????? Friends: I want to share with you the experience I just had. My doctor called a prescription in for me. I was traveling and ran out of a daily medication that I can't miss. Note* I have a heart condition. Instead of the AWESOME #CVS I have been going to a bit farther away, I asked her to send the prescription refill to the #Walgreens a block from my house. I walked in and after watching the pharmacy staff chattering away and ignoring me, one of them, a young woman asked me if I was picking up. I said "yes please" and she asked if I had insurance. Now is when the story gets good. I provided the card and she said they needed an override and that unless it was an emergency she couldn't give me the medicine she was holding in her hand. I asked her why as i've been getting the same medicine every month, same insurance nothing different at CVS a mile away from here. I politely asked if there was anything she could do as this was unusual. Her supervisor looked at and said "well, we are closing". I said "excuse me"? Guess what? They pulled down the metal shades right in my face!!! I tapped and they didn't open. I knocked in the adjacent door, and Ms. Pharmacist with the annoyed look gave me the "ahem" stare. I asked for my prescription. She handed me a copy and they all bolted out. Wow. Thanks #Walgreens Frankly, I have never been a fan and this just reminded me why. Zero customer service. I think that all Walgreens that AREN'T 24 hour should have a map on their front door showing where the nearest 24 hour store is. The time to realize that your local Walgreens isn't a 24 hour store is not when you are sent out for medicine at 2 AM by a miserable sick person and now have to do a wild goose chase down US1. Of course, maybe you should have a stocked medicine cabinet in the first place, but that is not the point right now. And although most pharmacies are slow, this one seems particularly. This Walgreen's also has old photo center computers. I go to the CVS in the Publix shopping center on US1 & 144st. Those are some easy to use photo machines. The parking lot is horrible to get out of. There is no point in waiting to make a left. Just resign yourself to the right turn and turn around when you can. read more

Pharmacy is always a long wait. Even when there are only 2 people in line. Seems to be always understaffed. However, most of the staff is pleasant with the exception of a few regulars which seems to always have an attitude, guess they missed the customer service training. The other cashiers (non pharmacy) are pleasant and helpful. There are always new items displayed and the holiday selections are generally varied (at first), hurry in as stuff goes quick. Rarely do I find an item out of stock or the store shelves messy. They do a good job of maintaining the store. There is a redbox inside... Bonus! read more

Had to write a review because of my horrible experiences. First of all, the pharmacy, I've had problems multiple times. When they tell me my prescription will be done on so and so day, and the day of, my prescription isn't there. Also, times when they say it's ready when arriving there, my prescription isn't. Have to add on, the pharmacist asks about the medicine in which I'm taking for so and so reason, in front of everyone. Nothing professional about a pharmacy there. Also, trying to buy something or asking for help takes forever, with one register open & one cashier. I've had to wait multiple times for the line to die down for help. And wait more for me to get checked out. Like I said, this Walgreens is not professional. From today, I'm done with it, and sticking to CVS across the street. read more

So slow!!!! Drive through or inside never takes less than 30 minutes to pick up a prescription, I've waited in line 45 minutes the last time. I never go after receiving the texts that it's available anymore since they will often times make you wait on the side even longer! I just go a couple days after to avoid the extra time. If you need a pick up immediately for a new prescription I wouldn't even bother, antibiotics (that anywhere else is a 10 minute fill) will take them 3 hours plus your wait inline time. I will be switching to an online pharmacy that has mail delivery for my regular prescriptions. Employees are nice but damn they need to double their staff or something to speed things up. read more

Hi! I got a complaint with this store. I order online the 0804/2019 , poster board for my baby shower, and it was suppose to be ready the 08/06 after 10:30 pm. I never got the email but anyways I show at the store, they search for it for 30 minutes, and them told me that the manager made a mistake and market like was done and ready but he never print it. So they apologized and ask if we can wait 45 minutes since they will print it for as, we told them we will came back around 10 pm for it, so they can get more time to do it. An hour later the manager call and told me they did not have the size 20x30 for the poster board so that. have to send it to another Walgreens. I don't know what kind of manager you got there, they didn't help us in any way, and now I have to send it to another location in hope to get it before Saturday this is horrible, your company is suppose to help your customers , if I order something I hope to get it and is not my problem that the manager is so useless. read more

I've never come here and had my prescription ready. Multiples times I've been told that they didn't get the prescription or I have to wait forever. They do not understand the concept of an ETA. I swear they start putting together the prescription when I get here. This is the last time that I bring my prescription here. I'm taking them to Publix or CVS going forward. read more

Shocked to find these many bad reviews because I think they're 100 times better than the CVS across the street. I tried them after CVS ran out of one of my medicines and was surprised to find they take CVS Caremark. I find their pharmacy and store staff friendly and helpful. Never had a bad experience. I go to this Walgreens pretty often and as far as their stock of merchandise goes, it's pretty good. I've never experienced them being out of anything I need and since it's near my house, it's a good place for a quick stop to pick up any necessities. That said, there's usually only one cashier working and the line can get long and slow. There's one older lady working there that seems to be a little racist. On several occasions I've heard her making comments about customers not speaking English and talking down to patrons who try to communicate with her in Spanish. I've never personally had a confrontation with her because I speak English but I still think her behavior is uncalled for. They have plenty of Hispanic staff members that she could call to translate or direct the customers to those other employees. All in all, not a terrible place, but definitely not the best. If it weren't because the CVS across the street is always under-stocked and is way more expensive, I'd go there instead. read more

I bought some cookies they had on sale for $0.99 got home and they were stale! i was disappointed because i really like going to this walgreens. You're prescription will be ready at 5:30pm. great, I'll come back 6:22 pm. oh, it will just be another 5 minutes. new cashier....let me have a look....pharmacist. oh....it will just be another 10 minutes. 7:23 called in to connect with a PERSON. Call center person answered. Not sure if prescriptions are ready'; one is still being compounded. not sure what to do; but I have ALWAYS hated Wallgreen!!!!!!!!!! manager has sign saying service is 'outstanging'. i guess he mean go out standing in parking lot and wait for prescription can't really write him, no card, but lists number (no pen) and email (again, no pen, no smart phone - linger story about bigr corp grab my money) UPDATE! I called in from home and I was informed that the prescriptions were ready. Another trip to Walgreen (no line, first in drive-through, no line inside either). I was told it would be another 5-minutes before the prescription was ready. hmmm, 5-minutes to Walgreen, 5-minute back from Walgreen. Total time 30 minutes?! Sounds like their definition of 5-minutes differs from my definition of 5-minutes. yes, it was 20 more minutes of waiting. (simple math) read more
