Writing this review because this pharmacy is awful. It's been 4 months that my prescriptions take at least two weeks to be filled. I've been trying to be patient but then customer service is awful as well. I have to either be on the phone for 2 hours or wait in line for a long time, sometimes more than hour, for them to tell me that oh now your prescription is ready. They seem to have an awful system. It's always behind schedule on the app and they have treated me very poorly when I asked if something is going. They don't take any responsibility on the wasted time. Extremely long wait in person, in drive thru, on phone. Usually 1 hour wait time on the phone. 30 minutes minimum wait time in drive thru with 1 car in front of you. 30 minutes in person for pick up. It's sad I had to transfer all my meds and the few that still go to this location I just have to go without those because I just don't have enough time to wait for 1 hour minimum to pick up. I arrived at Walgreens around 3:30 p.m. and I was with my general manager. My GM provided my prescription that was needed, because I had recently had surgery on my wrist; as in today I had surgery on my wrist and was coming from the hospital. We arrived he provided my information and Joel let me know to come back in an hour. My general manager had other things to do so I had to come back to the store on my own. It was approximately 4:30 when I arrived back and I went to the pharmacy counter where Kemon let me know that my medication would be ready at 5:00 p.m. I left the store and went to McDonald's across the street to kill time. By the time I got back into the store it was about 5:00. I waited for a moment and there and Diego was at the counter. He let me know that my medication was not yet ready and that it'll be just a few more moments. I let him know that I would walk around the store. After approximately 20 to 30 minutes I went back up to the counter. There Kemon was and I approached the consultation area. He let me know that my medication is not allowing him to release it to me because it is not March 12th of 2020. It did not make any sense to me because I had just had surgery around 12:00 p.m. March 10th 2020. I wanted to be sure so I contacted my doctor and let them know the issue that I was running into. I got in contact with the doctor and the doctor wanted to speak with them. I tried to hand my phone over but they would not accept it being that the call had to come from their business line. I understand that, I work for a hotel. They had seemed to have gotten everything squared away and I was one step closer to receiving my medication for my wrist which throughout this time has really been giving me a struggle. I wandered away waiting for the doctor to give a call and when I came back, I did hear Diego state that Richard is not him, his name is not Richard. It seemed that Kemon mistook me for someone else after I provided my identification card. He then started to assist me at the consultation box again, this time he's letting me know that there is no worker's compensation or insurance on file for my medication and that there was a bin number that needed to be provided. I let him know that I did not have any of that information, but I could go home get my information and provide my surgery documentation hoping that would help. Being turned away yet once again I went home and got my surgery information. While I was home I contacted the doctor again bothering his schedule and let him know that the medication was not being released to me. He then stated he would give them a call. By the time I showed up back to the Walgreens I walked up to the counter again and Diego is there. Kemon let him know about the workers' compensation and he then started to inform me of what had been told to me earlier regardless of my information that I provided for workers' compensation and that the doctor did give them a call. I was disappointed because I had done everything they asked and still it looked like I could not get my medication. What more could I do? He ended up speaking to Joel the first person that I had spoken with. Joel had taken the information that I had and he inputted it into the computer asking for a job name phone number etc. After he inputted all of the information I was able to get my medication and finally get home to get some rest. Today was a very hard day for me and being in the store all this time made it even harder bearing the pain of the surgery that I had just had, and taking the time to stay calm and be patient with the situation. I wanted it to be a smooth transition for me today after what I had just gone through. Understanding that I have to work tomorrow as well. I do appreciate everybody that was working and trying to make it as smooth as possible, it's just this situation I feel could have been handled better and more professional in regards to me as the customer. I do thank you all for your service, also Christian at the front cashier position, Mahita who provided me my medication, and Hope for welcoming me into the store. I remembered Patience from a previous visit. You all are great and I really appreciate you helping me today I just wanted it to be more easy for me because of the situation that I was experiencing meaning that it could have been less stressful for me. Horrible. My prescription was sent around 10AM. I get there at 6:30PM. The response I get " it's not ready but do you need it now so we can work on it ". I said yes and she said well come back in an hour to see if we have it ready. Around that time they will be closed already. Terrible service. Uncaring pharmacist & staff who apparently think little of their customers. The drive through window pledges to be closed 1:30 - 2:00 for lunch break. It opened at 2:20 and, when pressed for an apology, staff couldn't be bothered. Really. Dropped off prescription yesterday morning with promise it would be ready yesterday. Came in this morning and it still hasn't been filled. The girl told me it would be ready in 15' and if I could wait. I told her I had to go to Fort Worth BIR would pick it up when I get back. The pharmacy is close to my Mom's house... It is VERY, VERY, VERY SLOW... Picking up a prescription - inside or the drive-thru takes much longer than you would expect... 20 minutes, 30 minutes or longer... Stopped by Walgreens for movies and ibuprofen after moving and cleaning for the last day and a half. Red box was pretty quick today nobody waiting or at the machine. Going in to Walgreens different story. I feel ike all the merchandise is over priced. It seemed me that We should have been able to get in and out with no issue, but of course we didn't. Just came from Walgreens on 2602 ft. worth ave,dallas,tx75211. Bad service with the pharmacy, pharmacist and workers very rude. Pharmacist was very rude and argumented with me and they keep refilling the same prescription over and over which I am overstock with, and not refilling the one I really need. While waiting in drive thru the employee is asking me to move because prescription not ready, while talking to her another employee from the pharmacy is calling me to remind me my prescription is ready I am like WHAT? And guess what it was the prescription that I am overstock with, another pharmacy employee is talking to my doctor, my doctor is telling them for the 3rd time which prescription to fill. The pharmacist comes to the window and states for me to move, come inside to wait for my prescription and they need to know what medication, hello an employee on the phone with my doctor, they have everything on record I am not a new patient. So I left with no prescription and it was my insulin for my diabities, as I got home the pharmacist calls me and tells me my prescription is ready I am not going back there ever again I am having my prescriptions transfer somewhere else. pharmacist keeps calling me I refuse to talk to her spoke with manager James Reed, he was no help at all stated we need to correct my profile, I stated for the 10th time to correct my profile, I told him I am going to write a review on this Walgreen"s and I hope no one else goes thru what I have been thru today.
