Sara and another kind woman treated me like a human being in circumstances most pharmacies would not. Filled my RX minutes before close, to a new customer, that was not entitled to receive it, but was sick from being without the medication for days. I have chronic illness and I'm used to Pharmacy interaction. They accommodated my emergency with kindness and professionalism and have made a loyal customer out of me. I really want to love this Walgreens pharmacy and Walgreens in general due primarily to location. Unfortunately staffing remains hugely insufficient at any location I visit. It is especially frustrating when trying to reach them by phone to make an inquiry or provide information (such as no longer needing a prescription that is waiting for pick-up). The other day, I visited this Walgreens to get some Diet Coke and browse. I had no problems backing into a parking spot and walking into the drugstore. There was plenty of parking. I liked the Squishmallows for Valentine's Day. They looked adorable! If you want chocolates for this occasion or throughout the year, you can find a ton at this store. I had no problem finding 2 L bottles of Diet Coke. There was a sale going on, so I got two of them. There was also a decent discount on whole cashews. You needed a rewards card to get the discount. It took a while to pay for my items. There were two people ahead of me and only one cashier open. Finally, another one opened. I still had to wait, but got to the newly opened one roughly five minutes later. Instead of scanning my rewards card from my phone, I entered my phone number at the kiosk. I've used Walgreens for years and NEVER have I used a Walgreens Pharmacy with such an absolute absence of Customer Service...I'm betting they can't even spell that!!! Two days of trying to get a prescription delivered...no luck! Their "service" [and I'm using that term loosely] is the most disgusting I've experienced at a Walgreens establishment. This is where I go when I don't want to cross Garland Rd. to CVS, or if CVS is already closed. I hate to say it, but this Walgreens is like a B-Movie in the world of corner stores. It's old. It's run-down. It's staffed by odd looking, strange acting individuals who make you slightly nervous. But overall, it serves it's purpose. You need some last minute soda? Snacks? If I could give this poor excuse for a pharmacy a zero I would. I never write reviews because most of the time things go well and small hiccups happen but we are all human. Not this time! After my urgent care visit I received a call from Walgreens telling me it would be 30 minutes for my Xofluza medication to be ready, I said fine. I get to Walgreens, wait in the parking lot, and get in the drive thru line. When I pull up they claim they only have a steroid pack and no flu medication. I tell them there must be some mistake because someone from their office called me and mentioned the medication by name. Instead of working to try and solve the issue she just began arguing with me that they don't have it and I would need to call the urgent care place back and have them resend it, after I already waited nearly 30 minutes in the lot because I thought they were filling it! Not only that they make me get out of line and rejoin the line and have me call the urgent care facility. I call and they said they would call the pharmacy again and resend it which they did and so now they are finally filling my medication. Once its ready she tells me the total and i place my credit card in the push out bin and she reaches for it and takes it. after a few more minutes they come back to the window and ask how i want to pay. I said you have my credit card and she proceeds to argue with me about it for I don't even know how long and had the audacity to tell me "maybe that's what you saw". This went on until finally they made me give them another form of payment and kept stating they did not have my credit card. I drove off so upset and called my wife. She pulls our bank account info up and guess what! They charged my credit card not once but TWICE on top of my debit card! So there's irrefutable proof they had my card! As i write this review they are supposedly pulling receipts. i cannot express how awful, unprofessional, and honestly incompetent is this pharmacy!!! Now I am going to have to cancel my card and protest the credit card charges. Do NOT give this place your business under any circumstance!!!!! read more

There's this one worker at this walgreens who wears glasses and a mask. This one time i needed help getting something from the locked window i asked for help and she was telling me how she hated her job and she doesn't get paid enough for this. I completely ignored her because it is not my business to ask about that. After she unlocked the thing she took the item that i asked for and i told her if i could have it and she said no that i could get it at the register then after getting a few more stuff i went to the register and she forgot to give me my item that i specifically asked for and u wonder why u don't get paid enough she always his this lazy rude attitude and i come there less now because of how her customer service is !! . read more

If I could leave half a star, I would. The pharmacist tech who wears glasses is always completely rude when I try to get my prescriptions. She is very quick to over talk and if I say "please" or "thank you" she only responds with "mhm" -- how rude are you? I'm sorry your day sucks but why be completely mean to strangers. We are literally asking you questions about medicine... it's your job! She's the reason I dread picking up my medicines and I'm switching pharmacies because of her. Good luck keeping clients when you have someone who has a hell bent on being mean to others. Just because life shafted her doesn't mean it's everyone else's fault! The customer service in the pharmacy is the worst. Today was the last straw with these guys. The lady with the pink hair isn't any help what so ever. The regular pharmacist wasn't there today. The new pharmacist was too busy on a personal phone call to take a call from my nurse practitioner. Don't ever pay for a flu shot there either, if you have Medicare. I was charged for a flu shot there a couple of years ago. They said to file a claim. I did. Medicare said they reimbursed the pharmacy. I went to this Walgreens and they said they never received a payment. Somebody pocketed my money! read more

I have always found this Walgreens to be clean, well lit and friendly. Also, I've never been there when the place was empty. Apparently they do a pretty good business. The selection and pricing is pretty much the drug store standard. You're paying for the convenience. Chase ATM and Redbox outside are a bonus. Horrible pharmacy staff. The lady who helped me called my insurance company to find my prescription plan because I didn't have the prescription card and ended up lying to me and telling me I wasn't covered. She said they told her I wasn't covered which is definitely not true. I called them and got all my information myself. Went back into the store and gave her the information and she looked surprised. We have lived in the area for 6+ years and have always had a great experience at this location. We have tried the CVS across the street which aesthetically looks better and more modern, but you shouldn't judge a book by their cover. We have always regretted going across the street and learned to stay loyal to this Walgreens that has so much better customer service. The pharmacy is 5 stars. They are always nice and fast. They help you even if you have questions about non prescription related items. The rest of the store is 2 star. Sales are often mislabeled and the management has no customer service skills and this clearly flows down to the rest is the staff. read more

Worst pharmacy experience of my life! Went through the drive thru to pick up my rx, to realized the moment I left, they had given me the wrong medication. I immediately called them and spoke with Kelly (who I believe was the pharmacist on duty) and was told I could not return it for the correct medication because it was their 'policy', even though they filled the WRONG medicine! She kept talking over me, repeating herself, every time I tried to speak. I could not get a word in. I was treated worse than a child. I finally raised my voice just to ask what the pharmacy manager's name was and that was when she hung up on me. I was still in the parking lot, so I went inside. Kelly hid in the back when I arrived and never approached or acknowledged me. Instead, the store manager on duty, Everett, did. He pretty much questioned me on why would I pay for a prescription that wasn't correct. How was I suppose to know it was wrong before I paid for it??! It's not like they give it to you before you pay! Anyway, long story short..I called corporate and then spoke with the pharmacy manager the next day, Robert, who was very apologetic and seemed quite embarrassed it was handled the way it was. I've been going to this Walgreens ever since it opened and have seen a lot of managers come and go. They hired one or oriental guy who really hates his job. He walked around with a big chip on his shoulders. The other day I wanted 2. Eight packs of Dr pepper and asked the lady which has a broken arm to call someone to get them from the back. He went back thwre with her and made her carry those 2 eight packs with her good arm which I found really rude of him. She was hang a hard time walking with them anyways. What a jerk he is. She broke it while working up there because someone put a box on the ground right when she turned around and she fell over it. It was him who put the box there to. He's never friendly. Has a grumpy frown on all the time. If it wasn't for all the ladies up there I would stop going to that one. He doesn't help customers much. Always ask other employees to do it. Even when he's not doing anything. He's lazy. Can't say enough about his bad management skills. Get the other people back who the employees love. read more
