Hygienists are very friendly and go the extra mile to ensure comfort during procedures. Many hygienists I've had at other offices did not offer to apply numbing gel to sensitive gums during routine cleanings or put notes in my file to ensure other hygienists don't use the ultrasonic scaler on certain areas where roots are exposed. The hygienists at Healthy Smiles did. Dr Tam is great at what he does as well. He warned ahead of time that a tooth needing a very large filling could require a crown if the limited area of healthy tooth structure remaining were to crack. Dr Tam was able to maintain the integrity of the tooth while completing the large filling. Another tooth that already needed a crown was at risk of needing a complete extraction and subsequent implant. Dr Tam salvaged that tooth as well. He has a very calm manner and explains procedures well. The only hiccup I've experienced was an insurance billing issue resulting from my previous dentist waiting months to submit a claim and causing a miscalculation of my total annual benefits remaining. This resulted in my out-of-pocket expenses exceeding what the Healthy Smiles staff quoted me by about $100. After discovering the issue, the staff worked with me and decided to comp the $100. Great customer service all around at this place. I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the market for a new dentist.

I initially went for the "Express Skin Treatment" but when my 45 minutes was up, there was no way I was getting off that table! Jamie graciously and easily continued my treatment (haha, awesome) into what is called the "Customized Skin Treatment.' Heaven the whole time...I'm still sighing from it. Before I left, I purchased some of the products she used from a line called "Dermalogica" and have been using them every since I left. My skin continues to feel silky and healthy. She said it was an easy, painless procedure. She had to come in today for a follow up. We were greeted right away once we walked in. Mom went over to the counter where there were 2 girls who were working the front desk. It was a quick check-in process & then we went & sat down. I don't even think we were even sitting for a minute before my Mom got called back. The girl who called her back was the one who took care of her. She took a picture of the area & showed it to the doctor & then told her he didn't need to see her. She felt the area & told my Mom she still had the dissolvable sutures underneath her skin. She told my Mom to put Vaseline on it once a day & massage it in a circular motion 50 days times to help dissolve them. Mom was probably out back for 5 minutes & then it was time to go. Waiting room was nice & clean. Office is still requiring masks when inside. My Mom just has had all good things to say about the staff here.

I spent close to $800 for Botox and I'm mid 20s ... they fully take advantage and get all the $ they possibly can from you. I'll also mention this is the only time of the 5 times I've gotten Botox in the past that I still looked the same ... no changes to my forehead lines and for that price I was stunned. I went back in after it "settled" and nothing still looked good and I was advised to either pay for an additional TWENTY units or do more next time .... In addition, if you put a deposit down for your next appt to "save 10% on the next appt", BEWARE because they will keep your deposit if you have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances... very greedy place forsure.
