    No lines today!
    Andrew P.

This Walgreens usually is pretty quiet. The employees keeps things pretty neat and clean ( no totes or stock items blocking the aisles) . Fun fact: I was an employee at Duane Reade in NYC, during my college years. Walgreens brought out DR and I was there during that time. My eye is "trained" to know what to look for in a store. From my stand point, the store is well managed. My only issue is the lines. Sometimes one cashier is at the front that needs back up. Some support from fellow coworkers would be nice. I've only used their Pharmacy twice. Both times, I was met with friendliness and helpfulness!

COVID-19 BOOSTER EXPERIENCE REVIEW…read more My appointment was scheduled online through walgreens.com by my partner. We went to Walgreens together on the same day for our boosters. This was our first time getting a vaccination at Walgreen, let alone at a pharmacy. Here's the deal - A few days before your appointment, you get a confirmation email sent to the address used when you scheduled. The email contains your confirmation number for the appointment and instructions on what to do before and on the day of your appointment (get there 15 minutes earlier, wear a short sleeve shirt, bring your ID and vaccination card, and fill out a screening form). WHEN YOU GET TO THE STORE: - Walk to the back right of the store to the pharmacy. The pharmacy line starts along the wall to the right. (I saw some people take a seat without getting in line first thinking it's a different process for vaccines - it's not, so get in line to be seen and let them know you are there for a shot). - Have with you your government ID card, a copy or the actual vaccination card (which you will give to them to verify and later mark with proof of your visit/shot), and your medical/pharmacy insurance cards in case they need it (if you're not an already Walgreens customer in the system or your med/rx info needs updating). WHEN YOU GET TO THE PHARMACY COUNTER: - 1st time at counter: You'll give your 1) confirmation number from the email 2) your last name and birth date. They'll take your vaccination card from you, and then ask you to take a seat and wait for your name to be called. They are taking the vaccination card to verify the information before continuing with intake. - 2nd time at the counter: After they call your name to come to the counter, they'll hand you over a clipboard with the vaccination screening form (questions about symptoms, allergies to medicine, etc) to fill out. Take a seat and fill out the form, then hand it back to them when finished. You'll take a seat again and wait for your name to be called again. - 3rd time at the counter: They'll call your name and walk you over to the enclosed area where they administer vaccines. It's a small booth with high wall partitions and a door that closes. I noticed store noise is muffled and the space was clean. You'll take a seat, and the staff associate will have the needle, alcohol pad, and bandage for you. It's very quick. Then you're done.** ** you're supposed to wait 15 minutes after the shot to make sure no weird/sudden side effects, so I recommend taking a seat again for that time just in case you leave the store and something happens. Err on the side of caution. IN SHORT: Overall, an easy and fairly smooth process. My advice would be to schedule your appointment when the pharmacy would be less busy because it's one wait line, so you're in line with people getting their prescriptions and walk-ins, so your TOTAL WAIT TIME WILL VARY - even though you have an appointment time - depending on how busy it is. For example, I was through within about 25-30 minutes. My partner was there for an hour. Our appointments were separated by 15 minutes, but there was an influx of customers who came in when he was just getting in queue.

I think we spent more time circling the block trying to find a parking spot (either on the street…read moreor in the store's small lot) than actually in the store itself. We were able to find what we wanted - eventually. The layout isn't really obvious, and the signs weren't always easy to see. The carpeting looks like it could use a good cleaning too. But this is still probably the best place to visit in the area for your pharmaceutical and convenience needs.

You don't own CVS!!! But I digress. Anyway, the worker helped me with the door to get outside, which was nice. Only to have to blow my horn, be ignored, get out to tell the 3 men standing less than 10 feet away from my vehicle that their delivery truck was blocking me in the handicapped parking space. I had to wait an extended period of time for him to move the truck back. I went there twice, because the Dove Men soap was .52 cents. I will not be going back unless it is the only pharmacy that I can get to in a pinch.

I can never go in and out at this CVS. I give a 2 because in comparison, I've dealt with worse situations, and to be fair they're not always bad and I recognize that times are particularly tough right now, but it's definitely been a consistent pattern since before Covid too, so I don't think that's much of an excuse. Speaking of Covid, they also aren't very Covid-conscious as they should be. There have been a few times where people have come in without masks and neither the security guard nor people in the front don't say anything about it.

The pharmacy has long been a disaster with long waits at both in store and the drive through. The drive through is no longer. There's a sign that tells you to go in instead. I went in one day and the line was almost 10 deep. The dead flowers for sale are the cherry on top. I've complained to corporate who resolved to fix the wait times, but it's actually gotten worse. So now I'm moving my prescriptions to mail order through my health insurance pharmacy.

Hazera went above and beyond her call of duty. At the end of the day, Hazera expedited my prescription order and had my medication ready within the hour. I could not wait to meet this angel, as I was in pain and used the last of my meds two days ago. I went inside the CVS and asked to speak with Hazera and her supervisor. The staff looked as if something was wrong. Once Hazera came from the front, I introduced myself from our telephone conversation; she knew who I was. She smiled as I did, and I then asked her for a hug. Hazera said yes, and we then hugged each other as I thanked her profusely for her compassion and empathy. I even attempted to give her $20 for her lunch, but she did not accept it. She said I can do the survey instead. This was my pleasure for Hazera to be recognized and praised for making the world a better place, especially today. May God bless CVS for hiring Hazera.
