This is a great neighborhood Walgreens that can get super busy to pick up prescriptions. This said, I found the pharmacist as well as the supporting staff super-helpful. Always trying to do their best to fill a prescription rapidly. They may ask you to come back in 30 minutes or so. But my experience is that they really do their utmost best to provide great support. This Walgreens has been hit or miss. Waited all day for an antibiotic that they have in stock. They never called to tell me that was available. They blamed that my insurance hasn't set pricing for it yet, so we still can't buy it. I talked to my insurance and Walgreens has not bothered to run it through insurance yet. Wow the parking lot was packed as if there was a major sale going on! I did see prices showing 33% off on a lot of stuff. I am sick as a dog to the point that I did not go to the Tina Turner show!!!! And to make matters worse, I had a Dr appointment today and they said my lungs are clear, and negative for strep, flu and Covid - which I knew...I just went for the antibiotics which they don't want to give out for viral stuff- so tell me, how am I supposed to get better? So the told me to get this 12 hr cough syrup so I drove over to Walgreens and it took a good while to find a parking spot! I got my cough meds and waited in a longgggg line...so when I get boated and impatient, I am up to no good- I said to myself- Marie, if the Dr can't make you feel better, take matters I to your own hands- and I did- I got my hands around a pi t of Cherries Garcia ice cream and I began to feel better right away- comfort food! read more

Horrible experience with Vanity at the pharmacy. I paid for Plaxovid $ 1796.09 because my insurance company had denied my claim. I obviously needed the medication. I contacted my insurance company and was told that they will approve it that Walgreens had to call for an overwrite. When I returned several times I was told they were too busy and would let me know; never did. Returned the following with the Insurance company rep on the phone telling them to call their (Walgreens) helpdesk to guide them. They said too late I paid for it and that I should have known. I work in the industry they do have a help desk and it could be done they just don't care. Never setting foot at a Walgreens again..... read more

I'm only writing one star for this lady working in the makeup area I understand she was trying to be polite but I found what she did really rude. I was looking a lash clusters and the glue READING! mind you reading the box! when the lady comes up to me saying that she can hold them for me at the front till I'm ready. like lady?? I'm reading the box why are you gonna take it out of my hand? I had said I wasn't even sure if I was gonna buy the lash clusters either ways she was at a distance where she can still see me. I have never experienced such incompetence in a pharmacy. I get a text saying my prescription is ready and when I get there the "Gum chewing or I should say chomping associate" acted like it was my fault that they forgot to fill my prescription. Won't be back there ever!! read more

Called to have a prescription transferred. I understand that they are busy after their lunch break, but I was put on hold numerous times (lost track after the 5th time) without anyone acknowledging my call. No "hello" not even a "please hold". Just straight to the annoying hold music. I figured they thought I would just hang up. Not very customer oriented business practice. I'm still trying to get the prescription transferred as I'm writing this. At the time of this writing, I just got put right back on hold. They ended up transferring me out of the pharmacy cue to another part of the store. I could hear someone giggle for a split second as they transferred me out. In the end I got transferred back to the pharmacy and hung up on. I understand that Walgreens had a monopoly on healthcare related services, but this is some pretty shoddy service. I just needed my medication for a chronic condition. But the pharmacy techs here would rather giggle and ignore any needs I may have for the betterment of my health. I'll be using Amazon or Walmart from now on. read more

Today dropped by to pick up sticky notes as they have a small office supplies section! Got exactly what I needed! This is a very good Walgreens as they are always well stocked! They also have their photo lab where you can get photos! They also have a good variety of hygiene products, food, and other random items! The one thing though is that I definitely do not recommend their pharmacy (CVS is definitely way better) but this review isn't about the pharmacy, it's about their shop so that's why it's a 5 star! read more

The Walgrens is close to where I live and I stop by here frequently for little things needed. Every once in a while I go here to pick up over the counter medicine that always happens when someone in the house is sick or about to get sick. Also it's good to pick up orange juice, juice, snacks, or even a Chihuahuas memorbilia. They have a wall dedicated to support the home team. Also theuh have a photo lab to get a passport photo or pictures deveoped. I can't speak on the prescirptions since I don't pick mine up from here. read more

I just picked my wife up from the hospital after being discharged from major surgery yesterday. We went directly to the Resler Walgreens and handed them the prescription for her pain medication. The pharmacist said she couldn't tell if the month on the prescription was a 1 or a 4 even though it looked just like the 4 which was the day. She called the doctor's number on the prescription but since it was a Sunday nobody answered. She then said that she would have to wait until tomorrow. I explained she just had a shoulder replacement and was in the car with hospital bands still on but she didn't care. I was treated like a drug addict by this uncaring "health professional". I understand being careful about controlled drugs but at least offer to give her enough pills for today and act like you care rather than think it's no problem to go a day without any pain medication. I went across the street to CVS and they were extremely kind and filled her prescription. Stay away from this Walgreens! read more

Calling the pharmacy staff "incompetent" would be a compliment. We called first thing in the morning and were told our prescription would be ready in an hour. We showed up an hour and a half later to give them extra time. They hadn't even started to fill it yet. The staff is rude and unorganized. I've seen mall food court restaurants ran by high schoolers high on drugs that worked more efficiently than this. read more

Having to stand in line for a prescription with a long line that is full of those who need vaccinations really is a long time consuming process. Now I totally get it... the pharmacy blows. In general they're just inconsiderate and could use some training in customer service (specifically how to handle sticky situations). For regular needs -- drinks, chips, makeup -- it's totally fine, but forget this place for the pharmacy. I went through the drive-thru to place an order and pick up. Upon arrival I was told that I needed to bring an insurance card even though I had all of the insurance information with me... just not a card that stated it all. No biggie though, the medication was under $20. Medication would be ready by 12:15 same day. Great! I arrived a little after 12:30, surely the prescription would be ready. I pull up to the window after a 15 or 20 minute wait for the car in front of me and I'm informed that it's not ready yet, but will be in 15 minutes and I should "drive around the parking lot and get back in line". Excessive eye rolling (from me) ensues. I figure I'm not going to get back in the line and then get up there in 5 minutes only to be told I should drive around the parking lot again, so I parked. And for good measure I waited 25 minutes. And when I got to the window was it ready? Hell no. I think my annoyance was very clear because I wasn't asked to drive around... instead I waited until 1:45 to actually receive the prescriptions. How the hell does that happen?! I would've been totally fine if I was told from the get go that it wouldn't have been ready until 2 or 3 or 5 or 8, but they set the expectation of 12:15 and then continued to waste my time. And that really pisses me off. And since we're on the topic of the drive-thru pharmacy... Walgreens HQ needs to to some updating to their speaker system. It was impossible to hear from the window and only slightly better on the intercom for the outer lane. I don't see myself ever using this Walgreens for pharmaceutical needs in the future. There are just too many better options for me to waste so much time here. read more

This is a Walgreens, it exists as a step up from a convenience store. It's typically clean, and has a wide variety of products, from beauty to chocolate and wine. I mainly go here when I run out of school supplies, so the other day I visited because I was looking for some college rules sheet paper. They only had wide ruled in stock; I was appalled and flabbergasted. Otherwise, this store is okay; the pharmacy is adequate, I got the flu shot here once. A good time to go is the day after a major holiday (Halloween or Valentine's day) and reap the rewards of major discounts on candy. The other businesses near the area are pretty good, there's a wonderful Whataburger and a drive through car wash that always has a line. There's a Mexican meat market nearby with amazing barbacoa. There's a silver lining to everything. read more

I have been going here for years and I need to stop because they never get it right. The lines are ridiculously wrong. They say they don't have prescriptions despite doctors sending it multiple times. The pharmacists are also terrible no professionalism. Just avoid all together. read more

Iv never had the problems other people have had at the pharmacy . I have gotten my grandmas med without the usual hassle. The line at the drive-thru after 4:45 pm can be long . I also think it's one of the friendliest in Texas. Iv been to some Walgreens that are downright depressing like the ones in Houston. Even the CVS by UTEP is depressing . I also get a lot of jock itch. Great choices of Gold Bond. Don't care for the rewards program but that's a corporate thing. That's so early 90's. read more

The pharmacy is terrible. They always mess up prescriptions, conveniently "lose" them, short you on quantities (decided to count my pills out one day and I was shorted 15) and give the wrong medications. (If it wasn't for a PDR or pill identifier I would be dead or worse) They hand me other peoples prescriptions that I return after getting home and realizing they've given me the wrong name & bottle. They are extremely belligerent, defensive, downright rude, confrontational, and get combative at the first sign of their own wrong doing. At first I thought it was an issue with maybe just someone in the store/pharmacy but after at least 10 years I'm convinced it's a bunch of incompetent idiots working together for the greater good of themselves instead of the patient. The only thing I can say positive about that location is JoAnn or Chelsea. Stay away from Liz or Reyna. End of story. Apparently I have stupid written on my forehead because I kept thinking it would change. But after losing narcotics and seizure medication time after time and now an entire prescription is "lost" it's time to do something about it. Awful! read more

Absolutely zero craft beer selection. When I spoke to the manager about it he pretty much said that's the way it is and made no effort to say he'd talk to his district manager about it. When I want to give a business money and they literally don't want it, I walk out without spending a dime.
