However, I was told my medication would be ready in an hour, so I returned an hour later to wait in the drive thru line. After waiting in line for another hour, I was told that only one of my items were ready, and if I wanted to wait another hour the rest mighhht be ready. I left, but it would've been better if they had set up expectations from the beginning so that I didn't have to waste 2 hours waiting just to leave empty handed.

I noticed one door blocked off and a large sign that warned "MOST of the isles are closed off for cleaning." MOST not ALL. Grabbing a small hand basket I could see the sunscreen right in front of me. About to grab it the woman employee said firmly that ALL of the isles are closed. Okay. They why are the doors open for customers. Then the male employee made a snarky comment that "Too bad I didn't make a huge sign for people to see. Yes it was very ignorant of me to think that if they were open for business that I would be allowed to buy something. Both employees were very rude. Without saying a single word I then sat the basket back down and left. That is when the two employees behind the counter began laughing loudly and calling me stupid. Here's the thing, I rarely shop at Walgreens since it's so rachet. I mean the parking spot permanently reserved for the police is a dead giveaway that the store is shitty. Now my rarely shopping at Walgreens is now a never shops at Walgreens. There are many other stores to choose from. As far a sunscreen goes a co-worker said they would share theirs with me. So not only having a dirty nasty rachet store the employees are the last thing to finally run me off for good.

Actually the go above and beyond ensuring insurance was processed correctly or following up on coverage or refills. The store over the years has changed and has too much square footage for the what is being sold these days; but they still do have a wide selections of items for everyday purposes: snacks, personal/health care, toys, etc. for convenience shoppers. Customer service for the store is average but if you understand retail this store is under-staffed for its size. So it's really hard to say customer service is lacking when you see more staff in the pharmacy than the floor of the store at any time of the day!

As the owner, David, was walking out, I asked about what time they open the next day so I can come back to pick up my meds. He asked if I was just picking up or refilling my meds, and since I was just picking it up, he was kind to offer to go back in so he could get it for me. Technically, he didn't have to do that since they were already closed. I was so happy he saved me another trip, and at the same time, I was very thankful for the above and beyond service he provided. I've been coming to this Walmart since my youth and my parents used to take me here for essentials or we'd also come here just to browse sometimes, lol, what a place to window shop. My dad took me here to get his fishing license too iirc. I recall that you can get your fishing license at Rite Aid too, but alas that store bit the dust, RIP. Anyways I digressed. So this Walmart location is very old, but for the most part they've kept it up. There's been one big remodel with other updates over time. I don't come here as often anymore, since the Delta Shores Super Walmart is closer, but there are some things sold here much cheaper than elsewhere, and seriously Walmart has everything so if one location doesn't have this thing, another one would. Nowadays you can just look online for the inventory to find out which store has the item and then go there or order it online and pick up. So convenient. A friend clued me into some stuff on clearance so I came looking for them, but alas they were all gone, but instead I found other items in clearance, score! The store was plenty neat enough and pretty well organized throughout when I visited. Overall, it's a good store still. I just did self checkout and it was quick and smooth. I would not come here (esp by myself) at night as there's been incidents here and in the parking lot esp, but other than that this store is fine and I'm glad there are enough Walmarts around for convenient shopping.

Of course, the photo has to be ordered on the ap, and I am really technically challenged, and figured I'd let it go, but the salesperson in the Photo Department, Jordan, was willing to help me get on line, help me sign in, and with his patience help me step-by-step, with the entire process, and help me complete my transaction. He was so calm and pleasant the whole time, I am beyond appreciative. He was busy developing other orders when I walked up, and didn't hesitate to help me immediately when I walked up. I usually frequent another store for my toiletries and household needs but I think I'm going to shop here more often with employees like Jordan. While I was shopping, i noticed that Walgreens actually has pretty good sales. I definitely will be back.
