One of the few pharmacy 2 days before Christmas that has the Covid home test kit. Grateful to a friend who mentioned that they just got their delivery. In no time, me, my husband and son ran to this location. It's quite a distance from a place but it is better going on a sure place to get the test kit. The family has decided to do the testing day of our Christmas Eve dinner gathering. We went first to the pharmacy but informed that it is being sold in the register. There was a line but was moving fast. There is a limit of a box per person. Guessed mostly the people behind us is after for the same item. Glad that we all came in and each one received a box that has two swabs inside. The total number is enough for the entire household. The store is neat, huge and aisles has an identifier. The stocks are plenty and neatly stacked. The staff seemed pleasant. The store is in a commercial center and a large parking lot is a plus. read more

Every time I come to the store, they never have what I need. They're always out of stock and nobody's around to help you. It's the worst Walgreens I've ever been to. Not only are they out of stock of your product but the product that they do have they lineup and it looks like they have more but it's the same product. It's a total disgrace. I'm definitely definitely not going to shop here anymore. I'll go a little bit down the Turnpike if I want to go to Walgreens, maybe I'll just switch to CVS. read more

As of this writing, NY is again the epicenter of the Covid Pandemic which occurred days prior to Christmas Eve/Christmas 2021. Me and my Family already have a celebration planned for Christmas Eve, so we decided that everyone should get tested for Covid prior to the celebration, for everybody's safety ( BTW, all of us already have our Covid vaccinations including booster shots). Problem is, most of the places that offers Covid testing were already fully booked for appointment, not accepting anymore walk-ins and even walk-in places are running out of rapid test kits. We are already time-pressured as it is already a day before Christmas Eve. I have also searched for "Covid-19 antigen self test kits" from all pharmacies in our area (Queens, NY) but no luck. Fortunately, a co-worker of my wife just happen to mention to my spouse that there are available Covid test home kits in this Walgreens at Elmont. Immediately after work, we drove for 25 minutes going to this store in Elmont, crossing our fingers that there are some more Covid test home kits left. We got there, was informed by the pharmacist that there are available kits at the check-out counter. There was a short line at the check-out, we were able to purchase three boxes of the Covid antigen self test kit, they are just allowing 1 box per person, each box is for two tests, good that my wife and son were with me. We were so glad that this health and wellness store still have what we were looking for. One question remains before our Christmas Eve celebration, are we all getting a negative test results? Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. My prescriptions are never ready and the pharmacists are rude and act as if they are above you. The pharmacist on the phone was very rude and hung up in my face when all I did was ask her what I should do since they can't seem to find a prescription that I NEED to take. I told her the doctors office was closed and it is dangerous if I don't take this medicine and instead of trying to offer a solution she hangs up on me. Very rude and this is not the first time I've heard of this. Most all the people I know who have been here have has similar experiences. They don't know how to treat people like human beings. read more

The worst Walgreens in America. My 86 year old mother went there today and the person that introduced himself to her as"The Manager" of the photo department started yelling at her becuase she had questions about sending a western union.When I came over and to find out what was going on he said "You people need to know what your doing, I dont have time to answer her questionbs" I was so mad, quickly took her and left store. Never again. Ive notified BBB, FTC Senior Services, western union and Walgreens Corporate as well. Stay away. read more

I came to this location to pick up some oral products. I got them off the shelf as normal and proceeded to check out. As I was checking out the woman said the price was not what was listed I said I would show her and we went together. What was advertised was $3 buy 3 get $5 reward so she priced matched. I was going to go ahead and purchase another item however she couldn't tell me what was being applied or what so I decided to take it out. Moving forward I did not get the rewards and I went to tell her she said it was because the item was incorrect however I got the item for the price. I then said you still have to honor the advertisement that was on the floor. She told me to return the items etc. I then asked for a manager whom didn't have anything to say he just asked me to put in my number and was going to give me the reward. I then asked if I needed to keep the receipt in the same instant he put the receipt down and started to walk away and replied "you got your $5" as if he was doing me a favor! I liked this location better when it was Rite Aid. When it was Rite Aid, they used to be stocked and have everything you need. Since transitioning to Walgreens, their shelves are always empty, for months on in. I don't understand it. If you walk down the aisles, you'll just see empty shelves. Multiple times i've gone looking for the same item different times a month or even a month later, and this Walgreens still wouldn't have the item back in stock yet. Very frustrating read more

Absolutely horrible pharmacy! Worst you can get! I used to go to a small local pharmacy until they suddenly closed and all prescriptions were transferred here. Every single prescription for my family has been a problem and cost is much more than every other pharmacy around. The head female pharmacist has been very nasty on more than one occasion. If you can find somewhere else to go,do it ASAP. read more
