Seeing on the Walgreens website that this location accepted my insurance off I went to get in line for their walk in clinic. Upon arrival I checked into the electronic kiosk (one of two at this location, which are found at the rear of the store near the pharmacy). I was surprised to see that appointments were booked solid for the next three hours (darn back to school sports physicals!). Little had I known that I should have made an appointment online ahead of coming in. You live and you learn I guess. What did I do? I hung around, and hung around some more. During my hangout session I checked out some of the goods. Including but not limited to bright colored stuffed animals, essential oils, and take home tests upon tests. Thankfully for me two appointments backed out at the last minute as the Dr. was unable to administer vaccinations to persons under 7 years old. In I went for some friendly chatting, a rapid strep test, and a prescription for some much needed medication. Dr. Vantol could not have been any sweeter. So friendly, courteous, professional, and approachable (he even recommended a great new book for me to read, which I've already placed on hold at the library). I highly recommend Walgreens for your clinic care needs. They have options for those with and without insurance making it affordable and accessible for all.

My doctor sent the prescription elsewhere and we had it in minutes. This staff was so rude and unprofessional I've never left a review before but felt compelled to comment on this team.

    Pros: Timely text reminders when prescriptions are ready. Very fast turn around time for filling…read moreorders. Short hold times when calling to speak with pharmacy staff. Cons: Genuinely the worst pharmacy experience we've had in over 15 years of filling meds, and I think we kept trying only because of how absurd it was. My doctor had picked this pharmacy to send my meds as it was local and he saw it had the best ratings. First prescription that was sent it was no problem, super quick fill and the person my husband spoke to was incredibly helpful and kind and they were able to fill another one right then and there.  Third prescription that was sent in, we received a text that it was on back order with no ETA. It's a daily med but we're used to it being out of stock some months. I called to check if they knew if this would be a longer back order (if so, I could try elsewhere) or if they could tell me alternatives to try. Melanie said she didn't know when it would be available, very short, no concern or any helpful guidance. But ok, that's fine we can wait. 4 days go by and I call again to check if in stock or if I should try and transfer. Melanie again, did not ask my name or medication I needed, only cut me off to say any transfer has to be initiated by the other pharmacy. Alright. I call my other pharmacy and they very nicely explain that unfortunately it can't be transferred. They (CVS) are nice, understanding, express concern and overall helpful. At this point I'm just hoping I can either try an alternative or have a way of knowing my prescription will be filled, my doctor has been communicative and willing to send a substitute prescription. I call and get Melanie again. Very short and borderline rude at this point, I assume she remembers my last call and is annoyed. Fair, I'm annoyed as well. I explain the situation and ask if an alternative med is in stock, but only the brand is. It ends up being $400 for a 30 day supply which is insane as the usual price for my other med is around $35. You would think Melanie would mention the potential for such a high price discrepancy. Maybe I'm the problem though, so my husband volunteers to go in for me to ask them to return the other med to stock and make sure they will be able to fill either prescription for generic when they come in. At this point it's been over a week since I'm out of medication, which is rough. Melanie tells my husband, loudly and from behind the counter, before even saying hi or anything, "I already told her we only have Brand in." Wow. My husband accepts this and asks if they will let us know when they can fill medication, acknowledging it may be another week or more. Melanie tells him they have no way of tracking out of stock medication, that she would have to check my profile daily and they don't do that. She advises best bet is to fill at a chain store or call in every few days to check if it's in. At no point in any of these interactions with Melanie did she express any kind of understanding for missed doses, try and help find an alternative, offer to call any other branch of GoodDay or literally offer anything but annoyance at having to deal with me and my husband.

I was left in tears after many calls to this location trying to track down a rx I had set up for delivery a week ago..a delivery that was still sitting in their location. Unbelievable. Alot of "it's not our fault you decided to have it delivered and it was never done. Not our issue". I am not able to pick it up and that is why I paid for delivery. My dad died very recently and this back and forth with walgreens over medication that I cannot be without had me in tears...more than tears. I asked for a manager thinking it was my only possible hope for some compassion..Ha! A guy with a very strong accent came on the line. I could tell instantly this was going to be another disappointment. After explaining myself again he put the phone down and to my absolute disbelief I could hear him complaining about me while telling someone that he doesn't have to do any of this for me. I think he either thought he muted the phone or that I couldn't hear him...but this just made things even worse. I am so sick to my stomach right now...I've got a call into the corporate office. Something needs to be done. The ratings for this place are appalling.

    AVOID THIS WALGREENS LIKE THE PLAGUE. None of the kiosk work, cords don't work, app to link to this store don't work. The employees happily make themselves passports for different countries instead of help customers, and they are unable to even run a pharmacy because "a family emergency" supposedly. What is this, an Etsy shop or down home BBQ restaurant? Just go to CVS. Or honestly any Walgreens other than this one. They need a complete professional overhaul, training in professionalism, employees who act like adults, new management, and frankly to be shut down until they can run a business as one should be run. They didn't use a professional camera. They were using an outdated looking small pocket digital camera (the kind people used to have before iPhone!). The photographer came really up close to shoot a photo, made me feel uneasy, so it clearly showed in my face!

Do not shop at Walmart on 287 the customer service is absolutely terrible the manager's are awful people. My coworker is just a flatscreen TV on black Friday from them got home open the box and it had a broken scratched up old TV inside she put it back in the box to return it back to Walmart and they are doing absolutely nothing for her they're not believing her. The managers there would not help us once again and we're just absolutely awful awful people to work with . I 100% think she's getting racially profiled which is such bullshit she's from Nepal there is a little bit of a language barrier but they are taking full advantage of her. I spoke to corporate they gave us a number to go into the store to get a new TV went in and the Manager once again said there was nothing she could do for us even though we had a number from corporate. I truly just wanna get her money back and will never ever buy another single solitary thing from this store ever again and will tell all of my friends and family and everybody else who will listen. if anyone has any ideas of how we can help get her money back please let me know?

    I broke my glasses, and I'm lucky Walmart still had my frame! Tom helped me find, purchase, swap…read morelenses, and adjust my new frames, and he did a great job! I'm surprised how well he adjusted them. I got the lenses somewhere else, where I went in three different time to adjust, and the third time was good, but then somehow the left lens moved higher than the right again. Thanks Tom!
