Pharmacy open at 10:00 waited 15 minutes and pharmacy still not open. Left without my Rx

This is my local Walgreens. I like the physical location, it' super close to home and parking is spacious. The store itself is also clean and in good condition. I've found the staff to be friendly. I do admit that there are times where the store is understaffed, but those are usually off-peak times. So depending on when you go, there may not necessarily be a person waiting for you at the photo station. It's the same employee staffing the check-out line and the photo station (and also potentially stocking the aisles). Even with the occasional staffing issue, the wait is usually not that long and back-up is usually called, leading to the opening of another register. read more

If I could, I'd give the pharmacy staff 10 stars! Outstanding customer service! I was transferring my prescriptions from CVS for convenience as I live closer to Walgreens. Now I'm transferring and having new prescriptions refilled there. The pharmacy staff actually cares, goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Good old fashion customer service! I don't know how they found these fabulous employees but the customers benefit! What a team. Can't thank them enough for their patience, perseverance, professionalism and downright kindness! read more

Lots of parking, convenient location, great sales! But...the inside of the store is usually disorganized, not tidy, and needs to be cleaned up and straighten out better. Staff in the pharmacy are wonderful!! I wish they would teach the rest of the staff members in the store how to act. read more

I am very particular about customer service, in the retail business for 35 years will raise your expectations. Your team especially the pharmacist at the Walgreens at 6707 Pittsford Palmyra Rd in Perinton are truly the best. They not only answer all questions and refill prescriptions on a timely basis but when I was faced with signing up for Part D. I didn't want to lose my team at Walgreens. I called the pharmacist and gave me the phone number to sign up. My only goal was to stay with the best customer service even through these less than ideal times. Medicine that is prescribed is a medical necessity. Calling ahead to ensure a prescription can be filled and that they have adequate supply is the best anyone can do to ensure they get the needed medicine timely. I called this location and was told there was adequate supply; the doctor followed my request called in the prescription to this location within a half hour. I go to pick up the medicine at my next opportunity (to travel and deliver it to the patient) and when I arrive I am told "they were out" (and apparently were since the day prior to my call). Then the finger pointing to other staff begins...but to no avail as I am left empty handed; and it's a weekend so there's no hope for getting a new prescription at another location. There was no outreach back when I could have reacted on their bad information, to say they were out and dealt with their lie. So that is a mission and customer failure: if you want a prescription filled - don't expect this pharmacy to actually fill it when they say they can fill it. read more

Just got a COVID vaccine and the lady at the counter made us wait for the person in front of us to finish their paperwork. Then when we had to fill out the paperwork, the same person allowed others to receive their vaccine before we did. Extremely poor customer service from the pharmacy at this location. read more

I visited this location to get a passport photo and a flu shot and was out within 30 minutes which was pretty solid to me. The staff in the photo area, pharmacy, and main check out were all friendly and courteous. The store was clean and organized. I would definitely return if I found myself in the area! read more

What has happened to this store????? I have been shopping at this Walgreens location faithfully for the last few years and have watched it decline slowly but surely this past year......Yesterday was the WORST!!!!!! One male cashier on and one frazzled female manager literally running through the store with a beet-red face, from the back of the store to the front of the store back and forth! SEVEN people in line ahead of me (no back-up staff whatsoever), one confused cashier, frustrated customers who were miserable from waiting. THEY ARE OVER-WORKED AND EXTREMELY UNDER-STAFFED. Customers do not need, nor do they enjoy drama......They just want things to run smoothly the way they used to. HIRE SOME WELL-QUALIFIED STAFF.......PLEASE!!!!!!! read more

In general I think all Walgreens stores look the same... But I will say that this one was cleaner than many I have been in. I was greeted by a clerk in the cosmetics area and was immediately directed to what I was looking for. I appreciated the good customer service. read more

Consistently either partial prescription refill or out of stock. Monthly prescriptions on auto fill not filled. No call to let you know that there is a problem. Unacceptable. Tried for a year with disappointing results because the staff is friendly and try to be helpful. But I can not recommend using this pharmacy. I am switching all of my family business. read more

They have a good selection but are expensive, and the managers are all very rude and their return policy is horrible.
