I live in Raleigh and needed a prescription filled yesterday. All the pharmacies in my area were out of stock. The closest one that had what I need was this Walgreens in Fayetteville. Unfortunately, the pharmacy staff at this location are incompetent and I'd recommend folks going to another location for their meds and vaccines. After arriving to a scheduled vaccine appointment, they: - Gave me incorrect information about the cost of a vaccine. - Repeatedly mixed up type of vaccine I came to receive. - Shouted information about my insurance coverage across the waiting room area, past other customers. - In my paperwork in person and online, I indicated a medical condition. As I was about to get the vaccine I wanted to confirm with the pharmacy tech they noted my condition (in the case it impacted anything about the vaccine) and they looked completely suprised by the information (that I had provided 2x at this point) and seemed totally unsure what to do. ( were they about to give me a vaccine without taking the 2 seconds to review the form I'm required to complete to ensure there wouldn't be any adverse reactions?) After all of this I backed out of getting the vaccine from this location. The lack of knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail displayed from the moment I got there was enough to convince me that this is absolutely not somewhere I trust to administer anything in my body. read more

This was the worst place I have ever got my Meds filled. Customer service is horrible. Lady at front is ALWAYS disrespectful and acts as if she hates her job. I have put in a complaint twice in the last 2 months and she still continues to be very disrespectfu. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS PLACE AT ALL.. A smallish store with all the basics and limited stock. It's not a 24-hour store like the CVS across the street, which is the biggest difference that I could see. I didn't find as much variety on generic medications as I wanted, but I did find the batteries I needed, and it was quick and easy to pay. read more

Mostly came to the pharmacy for my medication. Customer service was great. The lady that conducive me was very much helpful. She did everything very quick and I got my medication in less than 15 minutes. Even though they were super busy they got my stuff quick I was very surprised. Moreover if y'all want fast service I suggest this Wallgreens. read more

Incompetent Staff, Horrible Customer Service, Nobody at the register, just overall worst experience I had at a Walgreens.

Came to pick up a 90 day prescription after being notified that it was ready. I arrived and repeated my birthday, name, and medication over three times to be told they didn't have anything filled. I persisted to tell the pharmacy tech about the message I had received, which included the location earlier during the day: She finally located the prescription, which was ready, but not correct. She claimed it only came up in the system when entered part of my name???? Some other pharmacist came to the window and asked me to repeat the information again. I inquired where the other young lady had gone and she stated she left because she didn't appreciate me yelling at her. I politely explained that I never yelled and I didn't appreciate me having to repeat myself because of her poor listening skills. The second young lady told me I had to get out of line because they had to fill the prescription correctly. It was a 30 day ready, but the prescription was a 90 day. I asked if I could just take that and pick up the additional 60 day later and she said no because she had already changed the order. I waited 10 minutes and came back through the line, only to be told they only had one box which wasn't enough to fill my 90 day supply. I asked could I get the 60 day supply and she said they only had enough to fill a 30 day supply. I asked for that and she abruptly hung up the phone and went to assist a customer at the counter. While sitting here dumbfounded by her lack of professionalism another text comes through that the prescription is ready. She comes to the window and gave me a 30 day prescription. These ladies were unprofessional, seemingly racist, and horrible communicators. They should be replaced immediately. read more

I have always been a big fan of my local Walgreens drugstore. However, there have been times where my patience has been tested in reference to my son's prescription order. Nevertheless, it has been in these moments that the pharmacy department rose to the occasion to set things right. Which brings me to why I'm writing this review about Pharmacist Monica Koo. Once again, I found myself in the middle of a prescription dilemma...by the way, please don't be alarmed by the phrase I used "Once again." It is a love affair between Allergy Partners, Medicaid, Walgreens, and Me...lol. Pharmacist Monica Koo is a wonderful example and role model for others not only in her profession but in any medical field. I am equally, impressed by her humility to accept responsibility for an error made on Walgreens behalf, and, to correct the problem at the source. Pharmacist Koo ensured me that she would do everything she could to lessen the chance of the same prescription mistake being made twice. As a result of her concern for my family and her work, ethics, the matter was handled promptly, and with empathy for me, the customer. Thank you Pharmacist Monica Koo! Here are three cheers for you...hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray. I am humbled by your kindness and work ethics! I hope Walgreens understand that you are an asset to their organization! read more

This is the Walgreens by which all other Walgreens should be judged. Literally, on the corner of happy and healthy. Shelves are always stocked and staff is almost always friendly. Photo booth may not have an attendant at times, but they'll come running once they see you reaching behind the counter for your pictures. I've been going to this Walgreens for years, and although there are others in town, and I'm only in town now to visit family, this is the one that I'll go out of my way to stop at when I need something. read more

I had a raging gastroenteritis that wasn't going away, probably from spending too much time with diseased kids on my pediatrics rotation in Raeford. One acute care visit and fluid bolus of normal saline later, they wrote me some cipro, flagyl, and zofran and sent it over to the CVS across the street It was between 2 and 3 PM by the time I got over to CVS. They are usually pretty excellent and as a bonus there's a cute redhead behind the pharmacy register. Alas they were backordered on flagyl and said no other CVS nearby has it, so they offered to send my order over to walgreens across the street and I took up the offer. I knew it would take time for Walgreens to fill so I called them at 6PM, they said it would be filled by 10-11PM. I drove to Walgreens at 11, after having more v/d attacks throughout the day I really needed the drugs. This is where everything went wrong, not only was my order not filled it was behind a long waitlist and they changed the fill date to TOMORROW AFTERNOON. Close to 24 hours after it was sent over, they wouldn't even spare me a first-dose to get the antibiotics on board or a zofran for the nausea. If the hospital did that it'd be a lawsuit. You have to have a priority where you fill acute medications over chronic medications, they left me in the dark and even if I sent it over to Rite Aid at 11 pm it'd still be tomorrow by the time it got filled. So the next day I didn't have anymore nausea or vomiting and decided not to pick up my scripts when I got a phone call at 5PM the next day about them. I waited it out a week but my d was not getting better and I was still having abdominal cramps, so I decided to pick up the antibiotics and refused the Zofran. 42 dollars (inc tax) for two antibiotics. Cipro is on the four dollar list at walmart, they charged me 17 dollars for it. Flagyl isn't a generic drug, but I'm sure it probably was overpriced at 24 dollars for seven pills. I can only imagine how much the zofran would have cost me if I got that too. I reluctantly forked over the money and grumbled about it, and to this day that experience still raises my blood pressure. So the moral of the story is, if your CVS order falls over go to WalMART not WalGREENS. read more

I stop by this walgreens almost every morning and I'm always greeted by someone at the register. They are always fast and efficient. The customer service is always good. The store is always clean. Cashier Foster is always a huge help when it comes to anything I can find in the store. The pharmacy is always on time and I love the notifications when my daughters medications are ready. read more

I visit the pharmacy a lot bc of medications im on. This visit was no different. I went in, was greeted by the cashier, went straight to the pharmacy, and on the way out decided to grab some kind bars that were on sale for 5/5.00. I grabbed 3. I get to the register and they ring up 1.29. I turned to the cashier and asked are they not on sale for 5/5.00 bc that's what the advertisement says. He shook his head and gave me a weird look like I couldn't read. Lol. Anyways, with no words spoken from the cashier I paid and left. SN: a manager was standing 5 ft from the cashier and did not bother to open up another register bc the line was backing up. read more

It's open 24/7. Great for those late night or early morning medicine needs or snack satisfaction. If they don't have something you need, you should have remembered to buy it when the regular stores are open during normal business hours. read more

Clean. Right across from the hospital and easy to deal with. Prices are in line and if you are responsible check your script and wait the 15 minutes you get your order. If your at the hospital you can always fill it there as well. Not my regular store but it works when needed. read more

Absolutely terrible. I was on hold for 33 minutes with an automated message telling me I was the next call in line. No one in the pharmacy picked up by the time I drove to their location. I even tried to call the store manager and was on hold for him/her as well, and again no pick up there. This is not what you need if you value your time and have a sick child in need of medication. Terrible customer service, under staffed, and since there are plenty of other options in town, go somewhere else. read more

This is one of the worst pharmacies I have ever been to. Every time I go here to get my prescriptions they are never ready on time, I mean you have to wait hours over the quoted time. I have also sat in the waiting room sick to death waiting for 1 1/2 hours when they said it would take 15 minutes for my meds. Also, the staff in the pharmacy area are idiots and completely rude. They speak to you as if you have no sense and cannot tell time. They do not call you when they are out of a type of medicine and make you wait in line for ridiculous amounts of time. Go to a different pharmacy if at all possible! read more

This pharmacy is right across the street from the hospital and has only one lane open. Absolutely ridiculous wait at the drive-thru. Sticking a trash can in front of the 2nd lane just shows how cheap and greedy this company really is. read more
