This was my first time at this Walgreens located on West Hallandale Beach Blvd. Much like any other Walgreens, the store offers various items such as health & beauty products, toys, cosmetics, medicine, grocery, seasonal items, drive-thru pharmacy, 1-hr photo, etc. at reasonable prices. My purpose for coming here was not to buy anything, but to pay my FPL bill. I received an email from FPL that stated the place (Amscot) where I was paying the bill before will no longer be available and posted many authorized walk-in payment locations close to my address, thus choosing this Walgreens because they do not charge the $1.50 fee. After taking care of a few things, I found a park and entered the store which was very quiet and had a few patrons shopping. I was nicely greeted by a female cashier and once she spotted the FPL bill in my hand, she directed me to the Western Union machine which was located by the Photo department. A female in the department was nice enough to aid me a bit on how to use the machine, which took about 5-10 minutes. Then I proceeded to the cashier to give her my payment. Once I left the store, I called FPL to make certain they received the payment, which they did. Guess I'll be coming here every month from now on until FPL makes another change. read more

Spare yourself from the rudeness of the managers at this location. I am baffled by the lack of simple customer service. My experience recap: My whole family has the flu so in order to prevent getting anyone else sick we placed a much needed over the counter order for pickup. Received the email confirmation shortly after and it says wait to pickup until the store has confirmed it's ready. Waited 5+ hours and still nothing so I gave them a call. The manager has a very thick accent and had no idea what I was talking about. Immediately, before I could even give him my order #, told me he didn't have any items. This was weird because in the past, if they didn't have an item in stock they'd email me telling me that. Also how did he even know what my items was since I had not provided ANY information? And how could ALL my items be out of stock? If they didn't have the items that's fine so I asked if he could cancel the order since I was a already charged but he was telling me they didn't have my items. The Manger said no and that I'd have to call my bank for any cancellation. Needle to say I was extremely confused by the whole interaction. And when I went to ask a follow up question he ranted for about 30 seconds and then hung up on me. When you're sick and just trying to get medicine to feel better the last thing you need is to wait 5+ hours and on top of that deal with someone who clearly has no idea what they're doing and zero customer service skills. read more

This Walgreens always getting rob by 4 small kids not even 12 yet! They do nothing to stop it 3 days in a row they did that, But you go and get baby formula and they will give you hell just to buy it.. Only nice person there is the older Spanish lady she's really nice and she's helpful.. the manager guy I think his Indian not sure, well he is very rude for no reason at all... If I could leave 0 stars that's what I would leave for this location. First time using Walgreens photo. I ordered online. One photo I paid extra for since it's a bigger size (5x7). Online nothing was cropped out. It was perfect. Came to the store. Paid and collected my photos. I left. Then checked out the photos later and found how chopped off the 5x7 came out. I asked the shift manager Asif to fix the problem since I paid extra for it and he said there's nothing he could do. How about your job and cater to actual customer service?! read more

03/12/22. Location: Store #04591 509 W Hallandale beach Blvd. Have always experienced a considerable level of stress when I visit this Walgreens. Today was no exception going anywhere in America while black is already stressful, shopping even more so. This Walgreens is terrible customer service needs a revamp. Went into this store in the early afternoon to buy a certain face soap. When i asked the woman in store dept to help me she was reluctant to help. I described what i was looking for and she was unwilling to help me. Ive been in this store before and the employees were helpful. I guess i need to stop shopping at this walgreens! read more

If I could give it Zero stars I would. The manager is rude and careless. Always gives attitude and gets annoyed every time she gets confronted with a customer issues. Largely due to the fact that it takes her away from her phone conversations on her Bluetooth speaker on her ear. If she dislikes her job so much she should seek other opportunities. read more

When I'm at home, Walgreens is my "brand" for pharmacy, drug store needs and since I only ran into the location to get some socks and bottled water this store filled those needs. It was almost $10 for 3 pairs of socks, so I left those and grabbed a couple bottles of water which were averagely priced. There was no line when I entered, and about 5 or 6 people in line when I was ready to check out and with only one lane open, it seemed to move as expected, there were no hold ups. 0! Customer service, walked in nobody in site, looks like an abandoned store waited minutes at counter before an unkempt manager asked me if I needed help. As I wait for a passport photo a customer at the front counter is complaining the wait for a cashier. read more

ive been going to this walgreens for 20+years i wanted to use my new OTC card for a few things and to my surprise the shelves ARE NOT STOCKED very empty not one thing on my list did they have WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS STORE what a true shame read more

Spoke to a Gemini, at least that is what's printed on her name tag, she had the audacity to dismiss me because she was not clocked in and had said that she would not talk to me for free because she was off the clock. Another guy standing next to her just scattered away saying that he was not clocked in and could not talk to me either. Very rude employees, seems that all the ill-mannered people in Hallandale are employed here. This walgreens compared to the one east near the beach made me feel uncomfortable. Felt like there is a lot of shoplifting going on as you have to go right in front of the cashiers in order to go get out. Had to visit twice because that is where my prescription was sent. Wont visit anymore will stick with the one east. read more

The pharmacy here is ridiculous. The pharmacists are rude and insulting. They also say they will order medication and then do not. I gave them an ID to get a script filled that I have gotten at Walgreens for years and they would not accept it because a cop cut a small corner off. They would not even start filling it until I brought another ID to them. Mind you, I had a concealed carry permit, auto insurance and credit cards and my ID has never not been accepted anywhere else including banks and airports. The pharmacist, Iesha or something was the rudest person I have encountered in years. Then after waiting days for another script i called them and they were again rude. I hung up and they called me back to tell me that I don't have insurance. I said, yes, as it has been the situation for months now, as my history in their records would clearly indicate. So apparently they just didn't order the script because it was a whopping 100 dollars. All this, despite the fact, I paid over 300 for another script i picked up when ordering this one. The lines are long and huge and the whole operation is a complete joke. They are a waste of time and a disgrace to humankind. I don't normally write reviews, but this place is the bomb, and not in a good way, it is a giant wet, nasty, smelly poop bomb. Avoid this rotten place at all costs. read more

What happened, Walgreens? In the last 6 months we have gone from being very loyal, very long time customers, to looking around for another pharmacy. Prescriptions are not ready on time, even after we get a notice that one is ready. In fact, we've had to fight to get medications that are supposed to be ready ("it's not ready, you don't have a prescription, oh, you do have a prescription but it's expired, no it's not expired it was filled", and on and on and on). For my 81 year old mother, Walgreen's has become a constant source of aggravation. The pharmacist/assistant (both) will say "I'll take care of that right now" and the meds are still not ready. She goes days without important medication while they have, don't have, have, don't have the prescription, medication, order, refill order... Not only is this frustrating but it's dangerous. read more

Costumer derive is a bit poor here. I went for a passport service the photo department. The gentleman that was supposed to be helping me get some of everything before he really got back to me. He took so long I just decided to leave. He seemed as though he did not really want to help. And his attitude sucked! On top of that the lanes are super slow when it comes to checking out.
