Worst pharmacy ever! They never had the medication in stock. And are always busy, long waiting lines.

This review is for the pharmacy I will not be using Walgreens pharmacy any more. I have received nothing but horrible service from this location. I call in prescriptions and they are seldom ready when we get there. They attempted to overcharged me on 2 recent occasions forgetting to bill my insurance. This mistake could have cost me over a $100 each time. They announce my scripts so loud the whole pharmacy could hear. One is a narcotic for my mother and I don't feel like getting followed home and robbed. Very messy behind the counter, disorganized, and rude quite often. No longer a customer, I will drive out of my way to a competitor. read more

Be prepared to wait!! So slow! No matter what time a day it is they always have a line of people inside and at the drive-thru!! Not to mention they never answer the phone. If you call to find out about a RX they either never pick up or put you on hold and still not pick up. One time I called at midnight thinking I could get through. Nope, I was wrong. It's totally not the staff's fault either. It's lack of people. They just are too overwhelmed with customers. With my recent medical developments, I have had to spend alot of time buying prescriptions. I have to say that I get great service EVERY time I have to shop here. I am greeted with concern and a smile - my prescriptions never take more than 15-20 minutes from drop off to pick up. I typically can do some additional shopping while I wait for my prescription to be filled. And they have a bunch of new hawaiian food products so ... I can figure out a polynesian dinner while I wait for prescriptions . I am grateful that they are so close to my house and make it convenient to not only get prescriptions but other items as well. If I need to get dog food ... they got it. If I need make up... they got that too... late with a birthday card... they have a great selection... rockin candy and clearance aisle. and for me a chronic writer and journalist... welll... they have tons of those items too. Worst pharmacy I've EVER dealt with! They tell you your prescription will be ready in x minutes... I gave them longer than the allotted timeframe and my prescription still wasn't ready. If you give someone a timeframe stick to it. If you think it'll take an hour give yourself a cushion in case things come up. Leaving work a few times a day in hopes for a prescription is unacceptable. read more

So many times we've come and waited over 20 minutes in line whether you drop off a prescription or pick up. So inconvenient they need to be open 24 hours just so that they can see everyone that stops by. If I can help it I will not be using this location as primary pharmacy. read more

I guess just like everyone else. The worst service, every time. Only reason I come here is because of my insurance. If I could give -10 stars I would. If you don't have time to wait 45 mins for a prescription that has already been called in the day before and approved then filled but they can't help guest because they're too busy doing nothing or so it seems like nothing because not a single person is helping anyone, they always seem lost. This place is great for last minute stuff like soda,ice,snacks but beware of the pharmacy they basically lie about how long it takes prescriptions to be filled and heaven help you if you need a pain medication filled cause they have a habit of running out due to St Rose Hospital 5 minutes away it's pathetic when a person has to wait days for pain medication when they are a loyal customer avoid drive thru just a waste of time sitting there it's not a fast option at all. read more

I'm extremely dissatisfied, disappointed and disgusted of the pharmacy personal I spoke to today. I called hoping that I can get me and my wife on the end of the day waste list for the COVID-19 vaccine. I managed to call few different Walgreens around me and they took my name and the number added me to the list. But this particular location the scumbag manager and scumbag pharmacy technicians decided not to add people on a waste list. I can think of different reasons why this location decided not to. One is they are calling friends and family members of the staff and giving them priority and second they would rather waste these precious vaccines due to political and personal believes. We are in the midst of one of the worst pandemics known to humankind. I just cannot comprehend why they would not at least take my name and my number. These people who are working at this location are lowest of the low of the gene pool who don't understand that they are lucky to have a job. My personal opinion is that Walgreens corporate should re-staff this place with people who deserve this job. This is not a time to play games with peoples lives. read more

We've had several mishaps here with the pharmacy. After saying the scripts would be ready at 2:00 pm, they still weren't ready at 8:00 that same night. At 8:00 they "weren't sure" if they had the medication to fill it. I told them my wife needed the meds asap since she is pregnant and high risk, but they didn't seem to care. I came back in 30 minutes when they told me to, and I had to sit in the drive thru for 30 more minutes. If it wasn't the only 24 hr pharmacy near us, I probably would change pharmacies. read more

I had a horrible experience at the pharmacy today. I waited 40 minutes to see about transferring my prescriptions from another Walgreens. The clerk or manager snapped at me to tell me I was next. After that it just went down hill. She was rude and it was clear she thought my questions were a waste of her time. I think maybe she was overwhelmed because of the long line, but still there is no excuse for bad customer service. I felt like I was imposing on her time, when I was the one who waited in the line for 40 minutes to ask my question. She snapped that I could have just transferred my prescriptions over the phone. I felt so uncomfortable I told her I'll just leave them where they are and drive the 15 minutes to my old neighborhood to get them. She rolled her eyes and barked and sighed "ANYTHING ELSE"? "No Walgreens" on Lake Mead and Boulder Highway. There will never be anything else, because I will never step foot in your store again. I will drive back to my old Walgreens where the nice people work behind the pharmacy. read more

Yelp really needs to allow 0 stars. Every single time I pick up a Rx there is an issue. They lost 3 months worth of Rx for 2 members of my family! Another Rx filled and was told they only had 25, so take 5 less or wait another week. Call in Rx and you're told an hour and you go the next day and they still aren't ready. Just moments ago I was yelled at and chastised because your pharmacy is short staffed and can't fill my 2 Rx. I was told 3 called out and no one was filling any Rx. Nothing surprises me at this poor excuse for a pharmacy anymore. Maybe the pharmacist should stop running rx and help fill because if you're "120 something Rx deep and yours are somewhere in there" that's not an answer and thats an issue. Not my fault and the manager who helped me is extremely rude and for no reason other than attempting to pick up kids. Sitting back at the Dr trying to get a paper Rx so I can start moving all out meds someplace else. I've had it with this pharmacy, go someplace else they clearly could care less! read more

FOTO SHOP only: thanks for having a 35mm film developing machine, no thanks for not listening to this customer and dismissing me. Situation: dropped off a disposable camera roll, and ASKED the film technician if this was full or used. It showed 27, so I ASKED if 27 meant used or remaining. I was assured it was USED. So, normal drop off - get claim ticket and go get dinner. I come back after an hour and a half, and the film was not yet opened. Manager in a grey vest told me to come back in another hour, marked the price down 15%, and said come back. I just waited in the store, and got a flu shot. So, after about 30 minutes, I wandered back to the foto counter, and the same guy in a vest basically told me: 1) the film was unused 2) the tech didn't check ("he's new") 3) I turned in a new film roll, 4) they could see the tab for unused film, but pulled it out anyway, 4) no cost, as nothing was developed and 5) come back again. In the middle of this hustle out the door, I informed the guy TWICE i checked the film, and asked the technician if it was 27 used or remaining. NOPE, the guy in the gray vest was not listening. NOT listening. Not LISTENING. At all. - What could have been done? To the film, nothing. To the employee? TRAINING. The manager? LISTEN to the customer telling you the information before doing the "ok - goodbye and come back!" sales line. TRAINING. - So - if you decide to go there for the machine, not the staff; 1 - check the film twice 2 - ensure you know the price before you leave 3 - expect they'll get busy and not call you on time. 4 - check, check, check. read more

While I don't usually fill prescriptions at Walgreens, I have been using them occasionally when it is more convenient and/or cheaper than my normal pharmacy. After switching jobs and my normal pharmacy now out of the way I decided to switch over to Walgreens for all of my prescriptions. I dropped 3 prescriptions off and 2 were ready to be picked up when I received a call informing me that Walgreens would no longer fill my prescriptions because I normally filled them at a different pharmacy. When I told them that they were cheaper and my old pharmacy was too far out of the way, the pharmacist was rude, treating me like I was stupid, and told me it didn't matter, I did not fit the criteria, and I could not fill prescriptions there. You would think that Walgreens would want my business and would gladly fill my prescriptions and take my money, but apparently not. Well that's their loss. I guess I'll be taking my prescriptions and my money elsewhere. read more

IF YOU ARE NOT EST HERE RUN RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. As others stated this used to be a great place to go but has gone to hell this last year bad. Cant wait to switch pharmacies going to go to Save on inside Albertsons that's the one my mom uses and great service. Why do I stay with Walgreens the only reason is I have one Rx that has discount card and I don't know how to get another one to switch also will be doing medication changes in September so waiting till then. Just a few of the things why. Rx go to die here if something is needed or wrong they don't tell you there site/app even says nothing you need to do and then all of a sudden your rx disappears. So you call to find out why guess why they are very annoyed for you to call them how dare you call with any questions and disturb there day. Also they don't have to fill your rx the way the Dr. proscribes they can partial fill it and when you call and ask why I had one guy tell me due to new government regulations they can only partly fill my rx (it's for diabetes) what he was talking about was narcotics, I call back and get told they can fill at there desire basically. So now there is about a week I go with out my diabetes shots due to this place not filling my full Rx. they also for some dam reason only filled 1 weeks work of my meds and then when I tried to get the rest of rx they said I needed a refills from my Dr. and then only requested the 1 weeks work not the months. Dr. will send in rx refills multiple times but this pharmacy never seems to get them. like I said RUN RUN RUN from this place its not a matter of if they kill some one but when. read more

I'm VERY disappointed with the experience I've had with the photo department here. I put in an order online for some photos and 2 desk calendars. I was on the slow glitchy Walgreens website for over an hour uploading photos and creating the calendar. I received an email saying the order would be ready by 2:33PM. My husband went to pick up the order after 5:00PM. The manager said the calendar machine had been down for 3 days.( The website should've reflected this information.) I called them myself and asked them to see if they were able to transfer the order to another location, and a woman named Linda said she would call me back and let me know. She didn't apologize for the situation by the way.. (25 minutes went by and no call back so I called her myself.) I spoke with Linda and she said they were NOT able to transfer the order. (How hard is it to return a phone call to a customer?) She ended up saying sorry but her tone wasn't very apologetic. Why would that store even be an option on the Walgreens website if the machine is down? It wasn't that I was disappointed with the order not being ready..it was the fact that they neglected to communicate with the customer and had poor customer service while handling the situation. I'm pretty bummed that good customer service is a dying skill these days. read more

The absolute worst pharmacy I've ever used! I don't even know where to start.... I've used the Costco pharmacy for years but live right by this Walgreen's. For convenience sake, I decided to have my prescriptions transferred here.I've been trying to get a prescription for 4 days now. I don't know what they've done but Costco and my insurance company have done they're part. Somehow Walgreen's has managed to have gotten my script cancelled by my doctor. Have an appt today to see what the heck is up. After 4 days of being on hold for 30 mins at a time and then hung up on, being given wrong information, and ultimately having a script cancelled, I am more than dissatisfied! I'll never use Walgreen's again except in the case of an emergency. read more

All of the ladies behind the pharmacy counter are generally very nice and pleasant. It seems that they are always very busy so the wait times are very long. I normally go after work and the wait is usually 20 minutes just to drop off, give them 30 to fill it and another 15 to stand in line to pick it up. The other day I went around lunch time and expected it to be dead in there. I was WRONG! The wait time was at least double! And while most of the ladies were working hard and doing things as quickly as possible, the young brunette gal at the register was moving AS SLOW AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. It was like pulling teeth...I honestly dont think she could have gone any slower. Everything she did was in SUPER SLOW MOTION. There is nothing worse than standing in a never ending line and watching a person move that slow. I literally just wanted to jump behind the counter and do the damn job myself. Anyways, I like to shop there. They have a rewards card that gives points for few stuff. I really enjoy all of the employees other than that one gal. Any every time I go to the front register, they remember me and my boyfriend and make small talk which is nice. The wait is just very painful sometimes... read more

So this is where I normally go to get my photos printed because there is always a great deal and tons of coupon codes that are available....however my last couple of experiences have been negative...the 1st incident was when I ordered 1h photos and no one bothered to tell me their printer was down so i drove all the way there for nothing, no courtesy call or anything #epicfail smh...then the other day I ordered my kids Soccer team photos and on top of them not being ready in a timely fashion, I get there and my order has not even been worked on and to add insult to injury they ran out of printer paper and the person in charge of photo that evening had no clue how to load a New roll of paper into the printer!? I was furious, I waited about 45 minutes for them to get it together and when it finally was printed out he shoves the photos quickly into the envelope without allowing me to review them...but I'm smarter than That, I opened the envelope and low and behold a few of the photos came out damaged in some way can u say Epic Fail?...i swear the only reason why I give this place 4 stars because the weekend manager Michael was a true gem!...he was kind, curtious, apologetic and extremely accommodating! I was given the photos free of charge and he reprinted the damaged photos himself...Micheal you are a true gem! Thank you for handling this situation like a true professional that actually cares about their job and the business! read more

I write this as I sit in line at the drive thru, there is only one car in front of me and I have been waiting for at least 30 minutes. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. The wait at this Walgreens is absurd. The drive thru and in store always seems to be about the same. Hardly any people in line, and an outrageously long wait. Not only that, but every time I come to pick up my AUTOFILL prescription, it seems like it is never ready. I don't think I have successfully picked up my script the first time, so I generally have to wait in this line multiple times while trying to pick up the same prescription. Went in this morning around 9:15am to pick up prescriptions, I was the only person in line. Edwin who helped me was awesome, helpful and informative but my complaint is that I have to work at 10am and the pharmacist who was an Asian lady was having a chit chat session with a woman who was half in the Consultation window. Edwin was waiting to get my meds checked and approved by her but the gossip session, which I could hear, kept going. First, it was the Father of the woman half in the window dying and then the woman's daughter getting married, etc... First, is that not a security issue having someone literally half in the window, leaning on the inside table on her elbows, she could have reached out and taken anything, or worse, contaminated the prescriptions, second, the line has now grown to 8 people and Ms. Pharmacist and Customer still chit chatting. I finally had to speak up that I had to get to work, it was now 9:40am. I was not the only one complaining, the people in line were telling her to talk on her own time. When she stopped talking and came to the counter, she asked me if I had any questions, well, yes I did but it was too late, I had to get to work, which I told her, she just mumbled sorry and walked away. This is the Walgreen's I usually go to and every time there is an issue but today was ridiculous, totally not caring about their customers. My prescriptions will be going to Costco from now on. This is by far the worst pharmacy in existence. In the last two years they have Lied about refills being denied by doctor. They are SOOOOO slow. I know that they are across from a hospital and get a lot of orders from people leaving there, but then get more help!!! Takes 10-25 minutes to get thru on phone consistently. read more

I take care of my fathers prescriptions, and I am so tired of the ,"We are so busy." excuse every time I deal with this pharmacy. Drove from Durango and 95, went into a store, shopped and drove the 30 minutes to Henderson all the time I was waiting on hold. I had my phone on speaker and walked into the store on hold for 55 minutes, 1 person in line and no one on the phone. After working to get all of his prescriptions able to be filled on the same date, this pharmacy now has us filling prescriptions on 3 different dates, because they do not order enough to fill the prescriptions. Worst drugstore and worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I went to Walgreens today to get my heart medication because I had received two voice messages from this Walgreens that my prescriptions were ready to pick up. I waited in line with approximately 10 people. When I finally got to the counter the girl behind the counter told me she couldn't find my prescriptions . . Then she told me that it would appear that I had no refills on the prescriptions I have been told to pick up. I begin to get frustrated when all of a sudden there girl says oh wait, it looks like you do have refills available and if you want to take a seat we can refill those for you in about 15 minutes. So I went and sat down and waited 15 minutes and no one said anything to me. So I went back up to the counter and the same girl told me I can't find your prescriptions. I said what do you mean you can't find them she goes something is wrong with my system. I started to walk away when all of a sudden she goes oh I am so sorry, it would appear that the doctor never approved your refills. At this point it was all I could do to just leave the store. And then on my way out the front door some guy behind the front counter had the gall to say, have a nice day. I will have my prescriptions transferred to another Walgreens and I will never do business with the store again. I will not even give this store 1 star. read more

I'm a manager of a health care office,I dropped off my prescriptions and the girl that works in the pharmacy took down all my insurance information. Told me to comeback in an hour, when I came back not only did they not have my prescription ready, but I was told they don't expect my insurance, they should have told me that in the beginning! The manager of the pharmacy then tells me that she will call Walmart to transfer my prescription to them and I would be able to pick them up the next day. So the next day I go to walmart to pick up my prescriptions and the Walmart pharmacy tells me that is was never sent!! I go back to walgreens to see what is going on and the pharmacist tells me that my medicine is not that important that I can buy them over the counter and she can not give back my prescriptions!! Do not go to this walgreens this place is incompetent and very un professional. My health company will not recommend this dump ever!!!! read more
