This gas station continues to be a hot mess. If certain pumps are running painfully slow, shut those lanes down until they're fixed. Instead, the attendant does nothing, blames the people inside, and the manager responds with stories about other days when things were even worse while insisting nothing is wrong with the pumps or quality of gas. Laughable. Apparently the preferred solution is to let customers get frustrated, waste time, and make unsafe maneuvers backing out of lanes to find another pump. Ironically, the customer stuck at the slow pump showed more common sense than the staff by warning the car behind him about the issue. Meanwhile, employee/attendant wanders around in a clueless fashion as if nothing is happening. Employee inside knows it's a problem at this and another store saying it's a software issue. You couple this with customers challenges just trying to pump gas and any savings in money is not realized. read more

Very disappointed with how Pokémon Day was handled at this location. The event clearly stated 2 bundles per membership, yet that rule was not enforced. Many people in line did not have a plus membership and were still allowed to enter. Even worse, several individuals were able to come back in multiple times and grab more bundles each time. Meanwhile, collectors who waited in line and followed the rules missed out because the bundles sold out so quickly. One employee -- a kind older lady -- was trying to check memberships, but people simply rushed past her and there was no real enforcement from the store. If limits are advertised, they should be honored. Events like this should support members and genuine collectors, not allow scalpers to clear the shelves. read more

During my visit to Sam's in Serene, Las Vegas, I attempted to purchase a croissant but found that they only had a few available. I asked the lady in the bakery department if they had any fresh ones, and she replied that I would need to wait 45 minutes as the newly baked items were still warm and couldn't be stored. I understood the situation and informed her that I would return to shop for other items. When I came back, she told me that the croissants were not yet ready and that I would need to wait an additional 15 minutes. The lady, who was the bakery manager, then left. I would say that over 85% of the time I have no problems when purchasing products from this Sam's Club. This rating is for the times that I haven't had a good experience. I purchased a pack of Wright's Brand Bacon from Sam's Club on 09/10/2025, and didn't realize the expiration date was 08/23/2025 until I got home. I took it back and received a refund. Come 09/13/25, I go back to this same Sam's Club to purchase this bacon again, and there were several cases of it on the shelf with the same expiration date. I pulled 6 packs of the bacon off the shelf and took them to customer service (the attached photos). I requested a manager and one showed up by the name of Tre. He was extremely rude, seemed unconcerned and acted as if I had done something wrong by bringing this issue to Sam's Clubs attention. No thank you, or anything. Someone that works for this location had to have known this bacon had been expired for 3 weeks. This same situation has happened to me a few times in the past at this Sam's Club. I split my time between Vegas and Los Angeles and surprisingly, one of the top stores I miss having access to in LA is a SAM's CLUB! I've been frequenting this location off of Serene on the regular since 2020 for gas and basic needs such as dairy, fish & poultry, toiletries, chips, and adult beverages. ;-) Always a great selection of chips for my chips & salsa addiction! I believe the food options here are a better fit for a smaller household than what Costco offers, which is more suited for a business. I also like the order online & drive up/pick up option! Special shout out to the gas attendant (shame on me for not knowing his name!), he's an older fella, but every time I gas up in the mornings he pleasantly surprises me with either pumping my gas or small talk. We've had Sam's membership for over 20 years now. We mostly rely on Sam's to get lamb. it's kind of interesting, but they always have a lamb chops, rack of lamb, ground lamb, and leg of lamb. Also, pork seems to be the best deal here. And average of a dollar a pound less than smiths... Though it's more my wife's go to for shopping. I do buy a lot of gift cards for dinning out here. We were abit disappointed this visit as the cheesecake factory had $150 gift card for $143...a whopping 4% discount...not worth driving out of your way. read more

I called around to price out the replacement of TPMS sensors for my tires and found out that it would be relatively inexpensive. I called and scheduled an appointment for the vehicle. Good news was that they had the sensors, bad news was that I needed to also replace some of my tires--2 and a spare. We looked up the different tires and figured out a more affordable brand that would work. The issue was that they needed to be ordered and I'd need to return to have this all done at the same time. This was on a Monday. I paid and got a phone call two days later that my tires were in stock (Wednesday). Luckily, the person scheduling was able to fit me in during the same week even with my limited availability (Saturday 8am). When I came in, there were plenty of spots available and I was able to drop off my car quickly. The tech mentioned it would be approximately 2 hours or so, depending, but I'd get a phone call about picking up. It ended up only being 1.5 hours and they called me up and I got to pick up my car. Luckily I have the Plus membership option and was able to shop earlier and drop my car off earlier to get the tire and TPMS sensors replaced. There are certain times of year that they also run specials, and I also ended up needing to replace my windshield wipers and battery. Thankfully the sales person informed me of the sale on the windshield wipers and battery (but there was no way to wait on the tires and TPMS sensors). I forgot how quickly and easily it is to schedule these types of appointments and will definitely be back when necessary. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at the Scan & Go café today. I waited over 30 minutes for a hot dog and a drink while customers at the regular window were receiving their orders immediately after purchasing. The tall, heavyset male employee working today 12/19 evening at the Scan & Go window was rude and unhelpful and should not be working directly with customers. At one point, both myself and another customer were waiting at the front of the Scan & Go line, but the window was abandoned while all employees focused on the regular line. I went to the regular window to ask about my order since the app still showed "confirmed" and had not moved to "preparing," but I was told they couldn't help me and that I had to return to the Scan & Go window. When I did, the same employee told me I had to go to the back of the line, which now had about 10 people waiting--adding another 10-15 minutes. Waiting nearly 45 minutes for a hot dog is unacceptable. I ultimately went to customer service to request a refund. read more

Even though you pay everything at the cashier, the associate at the door double check it. There's a a few customers has to step aside as they re-scan everything to see if items are stolen. That's messed up, customer shop and pay for it and they consider it as stealing when their system are lagging or glitches. I understand associate goes by the book, but geeze that's messed up accusing customers. I don't recommend this store, go to the PECOS one further down then the one at E. Serene. And even better, unlike many other sams clubs that only have one entrance lane to the gas station, this one uses the Costco system where you can pick any lane for any pump which is way more efficient!!! Gas lines always take 20+ minutes if it's not super early or super late, and a lot of the time the pumps have technical issues / they run out of gas often. Costco never has that issue. Checkout lanes take a long time and the double check on the receipt always has lengthy lines. I recommend updating. read more

Sam's on East Serene is my new home store since 2019. Before that Sam's on Pecos for over 30 years. The other day I stopped by the car repair area because my tire pressure light was on. I asked if there was a possibility to have someone look at the pressure. Danny was so sweet and immediately checked the pressure and filled the tires that needed air as this is the time of year for that. I asked him how much that cost and he said there was no charge. After all these years I'm still a fan & still have my membership. Still only buy certain stuff in bulk. I do purchase a lot of my veggies here. Love their rotisserie chicken, chicken breast & hamburger meat. I LOVE using the app to scan & pay for my purchases. I can't believe how long it took me to find this was available. Best thing ever to avoid those long weekend lines! You do need to be careful of their prices. A few times I've scanned my item to purchase & it comes up more then what is advertised. This happened with a couple weeks of a bag of avocados. I had to go to the cashier & tell her and get rung up there & they still hadn't adjusted the price. So I am a member at Sam's Club and I'm not really understanding if this is the right place to actually leave this but I'm going to so I went today to get a few things and I needed help what I do not understand. There's a lot of buzz in the last few days coming off a few news outlets that although we are below the normal level of supply for fuel, we are still in good standings. Apparently, most people only heard the "we are below the normal level of supply" and this is probably why this place was crowded. At least that's what I thought, but local peeps said, "No, there's always a long line here because their fuel is cheap." But it didn't take long for us to get to the pump. And we were outta there in no time. And it is true what they say. Every other gas station I drove by were more expensive in comparison. One thing, though: they need to keep pace with the upkeep. Most of the trash bins are packed and full. I can only imagine what the line would be like should the apocalypse befall us... Given it's close to where I usually stay, it'll be my fuel-up go-to for now. read more
