I was telling him about how my rear view mirror was constantly sliding down. I tried to get pet boys across from them to see what they could do . Their guy tried tightening it up but noticed a crack on the mirror attachment. I mentioned to Joe that I did order a new mirror from Amazon but it's not something that pet boys can do, understandably they are not windshield repair shop . Nonetheless Joe said he could get his mechanic to install the new one . So i figured that I would just wait to see if the mirror would stay in place on the way home and no it didn't. I called Joe and asked if i could come on in and have it replaced. So no problem went back and was charged a reasonable price. I will definitely be coming back .

I'm normally pretty pleased with the service I get at the Stephanie location.-- don't ask me about the horror stories over at the Mark Street location. This time there were issues with inexperienced techs and a vacuum pump that didn't extract all the oil from my engine before they filled it up again. After recognizing the engine shutter that is caused by too much oil, I had them remove some of the extra oil to get it back down to the proper level. The only problem with this is that the new oil has now been diluted with the old oil that they never got out. It was probably at least a quart of old oil. The other problem I had was that the manager decided to make excuses and claim there was no problem rather than exploring options to make things right. I wasn't going to argue with him in his place of business and in front of other customers, but I'm not sure I'll go back. The right thing to do would've been to completely drain the oil and refill it again with clean oil. But I know is expensive these days and I would've been fine if they would've simply offered me a discount roughly proportional with how much old oil they left in my car. Neither option was offered, so that's why I'm giving this review.

Not only did they diagnose and fix the transmission problem, but they also discovered other issues I had no idea about. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me so I understood exactly what was going on with my truck. What really stood out was their communication. They kept me updated the entire time--whether it was parts being ordered, delays in delivery, or progress on the repairs. I was never left wondering what was happening, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. They even provided pictures showing the damaged parts side by side with the new ones, which really showed their transparency and attention to detail. On top of that, they made sure to test drive the truck to confirm everything was running smoothly before handing it back to me. They also stepped in and corrected a mistake made by my warranty parts vendor, which could have easily turned into a much bigger headache. That level of honesty and dedication is hard to find. Overall, Sonny's Auto Repair is professional, thorough, and truly cares about their customers. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality work, and clear communication.

Honesty Is Hard to Find--Which Makes It Worth Recognizing…read more I retired to Henderson, Nevada, in 2010. I love the weather, the active lifestyle in my 55+ community, and the fact that Las Vegas is only about 30 minutes away, offering countless restaurants, entertainment, and services. Unfortunately, living here has also taught me another lesson: the old saying "Buyer Beware" is more relevant than ever. Over the years, I have found that many businesses--whether in medical care, auto repair, legal services, home repair, or other industries--either overcharge for their services or fail to deliver what they promise. As consumers, we often have little choice but to trust the professionals we hire, making honesty and integrity more important than ever. To me, a truly exceptional business is one that takes the time to explain what is needed, treats customers with respect, performs quality work, and charges a fair price. In other words, it follows the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would want to be treated. Imagine how much better our communities would be if every business operated that way. While companies like this seem increasingly rare, I was fortunate enough to find one recently. I took my 2022 vehicle--with only 22,000 miles--to an auto repair shop that had serviced it several times before. I requested nothing more than a routine oil change. About an hour after leaving the car, I received a phone call informing me that they had discovered major front-end damage. I was told the vehicle was unsafe to drive and that the repairs would cost between $1,800 and $1,900. The diagnosis didn't make sense. My car had never shown any symptoms of front-end problems, so I decided to seek a second opinion. I brought the vehicle to Sonny's Auto Repair at 1000 Stephanie Place, Henderson, NV 89014. From the moment I called, I noticed a difference. The receptionist greeted me warmly, listened carefully to my concerns, and assured me they would be happy to inspect the vehicle. After spending 30 years in customer service, I know how much first impressions matter, and this one was outstanding. I dropped off the car and was told there would be an $85 inspection fee. Later that day, I returned expecting to hear the worst. Instead, I received some of the best news I could have hoped for. The technician--and even the owner, Chris--carefully inspected the vehicle and found none of the damage described by the first repair shop. In fact, the only problem they discovered was that the oil filter installed during the previous oil change had been improperly fitted and was leaking oil. They corrected the problem immediately. Then came the biggest surprise of all. When I asked what I owed, I was told there would be no charge. Chris explained that the repair required very little time and that he could tell how distressed I had been over the prospect of an unnecessary and expensive repair. Think about that for a moment. How often do you encounter a business that could have charged you for an inspection, recommended unnecessary repairs, or simply taken advantage of the situation--but instead chose honesty, integrity, and compassion? Those qualities deserve to be recognized. Because of this experience, Sonny's Auto Repair has earned my trust and my future business. More importantly, they restored a little of my faith that ethical businesses still exist. In today's world, honesty and integrity are qualities worth celebrating. If more businesses--and perhaps even more institutions--followed the example set by Sonny's Auto Repair, our communities would be stronger, trust would be easier to earn, and life would be better for everyone.

Jared was friendly, took the time to check everything thoroughly, and explained the findings clearly while providing a repair estimate without any pressure. Afterward, I had my wheels balanced elsewhere and the vibration completely went away, so I decided to hold off on the brake work for now. Even though I didn't move forward with the repair, I really appreciated Jared's respectful and honest approach throughout the process. It's hard to find trustworthy auto service, especially when you're from out of town, and based on my experience, I would still recommend asking for Jared if you need your car looked at. Unfortunately, our experience with this shop was extremely disappointing…read more We originally brought our car in on June 29 to have the shocks replaced. After picking it up, we immediately noticed a clunking noise that had not been present before the repair. When we brought the vehicle back, we were told an additional part needed to be ordered. From there, communication became a major issue. Days passed without any updates, and our attempts to reach the shop went unanswered. However, after my wife posted a negative review, we received an immediate response and were told to bring the car back in. The new part was installed, but the problem persisted. At that point, we were told a "brand-name" replacement part would need to be ordered instead (why is he not using brand name products?). While we understand that repairs don't always go as planned, we were left without confidence in the reliability of our vehicle and received very little proactive communication throughout the process. By July 8, we still had not heard anything, so I called to check on the status. During that call, the owner informed me that the part had actually arrived the day before and that he was planning to call us to bring it in "within the next few days." After already waiting more than a week, this was frustrating. What bothered us most was the way our concerns were handled. When I explained that we were unhappy with how the situation had been managed, the owner immediately became defensive. At one point, he told me that he "isn't responsible for my emotions." When I expressed concern that we had been left without reliable transportation, he responded that the car was "completely fine to drive." Given the ongoing noise and unresolved repair issue, this was not reassuring. A quick google search proved that the statement was not only incorrect but negligible and could have caused major damage to the car. When I asked whether we could receive a refund and take the vehicle elsewhere, he said that refunds were not available. The conversation became increasingly unproductive and hostile, and he eventually refused to discuss the matter further because my wife had signed the paperwork rather than me, despite the fact that I was present when the vehicle was dropped off. Shortly after the call, he texted my wife and stated that after installing the new part, he no longer wanted to service her vehicle because I had been "rude" to him on the phone. To be clear, I never raised my voice, used profanity, or became disrespectful. I simply expressed that we were unhappy with how the situation had been handled and wanted to explore our options. Our frustration comes from the lack of communication, the delays, and the dismissive and defensive responses we received when trying to resolve the problem. Additionally, we were completely turned off by the fact that the parts he uses is not of good enough quality that would prevent this issue from the first place. It took three total installations to resolve the matter, the first two was with his own parts that failed, the third was with a brand name that worked. In the end, we were left feeling unheard, unsafe, and without confidence in either the repair, the customer service or the shop. Based on our experience, we would not return and cannot recommend this shop. EDIT: I had a feeling that the owner would reply. But as you can see, there's nothing that addresses the way he treated us just that he repaired the car. Yes, he repaired the car after failing to do so the first 2 times he worked on it. He let us drive off twice with an impaired car that was caused by him. Guess all that he cares about is doing the work EVENTUALLY, not doing it right or doing it well the first time. AVOID.
