Drove to Ulta and was met by nice, mature women, whose make-up was done tastefully! I have cancer and am in chemo. I wanted new make up to do my face up, before shaving my head. Because my hair was coming out fast and furious. The women here were helpful. I picked out my make up! Spent a few hundred dollars. Too bad for you Sephora. I have 6 daughters and 10 granddaughters! In the past, I've always bought them Sephora Gift cards. Today that has all stopped. From now on it is only Ulta Gift cards. Thank you Ulta for treating ALL women like they matter! Happy Easter!

When I do go inside, it's hit or miss in terms of what's available. I've ordered a few things online for in-store pickup. The staff was friendly, but having to show ID to collect your items felt a bit odd, though I understand it's their policy. Once your order is ready, you'll receive an email with a QR code that needs to be scanned at pickup. I've heard they're opening a new location in Pittsford Plaza, where Bed Bath & Beyond used to be, which is great news! This location has plenty of shared parking, so it's easy to navigate.

This store, however, was a breath of fresh air thanks to Lissette! She immediately came over to offer us her help when we arrived, something that didn't happen at all at the Eastview store. After making sure other customers were taken care of, she helped me by recommending products based on my needs and product discontinuations, gave me a sample to try for a new product she thought I would like, and matched my skin to a product I needed. Her positive, open, and knowledgeable demeanor was everything we could have asked for in a Sephora store. For a first time visit, the store can be overwhelming but once you walk around once or twice you'll see that there's a method to the madness and it's actually pretty well organized. If you get totally lost, there's usually a staff member available to help and they're pretty friendly. See a wig you like? They'll actually help you try it on (they actually prefer that you don't do it yourself). If you're not quite sure on which color of hair to get to match your own, they can also help you find the best one.

I was told by cashier that it could not be returned. I stated I did not want to return item, but exchange it for new one. The catchier stayed if I had called then maybe they could do something. I went in to check out a few products and get an idea of pricing, and approximately ten seconds…read moreafter entering the store was told I could not look around unless I had an account with them. I informed them that I wouldn't be buying anything today, I was just looking. The employee responded by asking me if I was a cosmetoligist to which I responded no, I'm just here to compare a few items and get pricing. She responded by informing me that the prices are for distributors only anyway and reiterated I was not permitted to look around. Essentially, she was telling me to leave. My cosmetoligist comes to my home and told me to compare a few things I was interested in and then she would pick them up before our next appointment, but the staff at this location did not even give me the opportunity to say that. If members of the public are not welcome in their store, it should be clearly posted on the door (I have been to many beauty supply distributors where this is the case and specifically checked for any indication of that before entering). It was an awful experience and I will absolutely be making sure that when the items I need are purchased, it is not through this company.
