I came by the store to get some glucose monitoring kit. They Dont have it so they' told me they'll order it so come back the next day. I got home and i get all this alerts about them refilling prescriptions I dont use anymore. I came the next day to pick up the kit but they didn't order it. Lady there was giving me an attitude for no reason. You work in customer service don't be giving me attitude, go work picking up garbage and give as much attitude as you want. So I have another prescription to pick up and guess what they gave me a substitute without telling me. I'm like am i in the freaking twilight zone, what is going on here. Never have i ever dealt with a pharmacy like this it's out of this freaking world. They're too busy being incompetent thats why they work more and get less job done hence the "too busy" excuse. The literal worst pharmacy I've ever used. Currently refusing to refill my insulin despite me having great insurance 'because they're too busy'. Only partially refilled other prescriptions, charged me full price then refused to complete the partial refill when I returned. Absolutely disgusting and rude customer service from most (not all) of the staff. read more

Best Walgreens in town! I recently switched all of my prescriptions to the Central Pike Walgreens. (I have been a longtime patron of the Tulip Grove Walgreens ) I had become more and more unsatisfied at the Tulip Grove location. Little did I know the pharmacist had transferred to Central Pike! If I could leave a zero star review, that would be appropriate. There is a pharmacist there named Amir that honestly should be in another profession. Maybe he should review The Oath of a Pharmacist. His uncaring, unfounded & cruel actions toward me caused me an untold amount of stress & grief, immediately after having MAJOR surgery. He should be reviewed by the TN Board of Pharmacy, which I have not ruled out. We all should treat others the way we would want to be treated. This is the reason I RARELY use Walgreens. The Central Pike Hermitage Walgreens is great. There's been an elderly woman who works often at the check-out. She's been there for years and she's great, nice, thorough. I think they've had a shoplifting problem and I remember one year, she turned down a bill that she thought was counterfeit. The manager came and verified that it was, but she was still nice to the counterfeiters. She's all business and customer service. The pharmacy is very helpful too. Since I retired last October, I have Medicare insurance for me and my husband. The pharmacy staff is very helpful in that area. I show up there many times because my husband is in a wheelchair and the type of other health problems he has requires constant changes in medication. The staff if very accommodating. read more

I dread every trip I have to make to this pharmacy. It's one of the few places Im forced to interact regularly with a staff member who truly looks upset that someone has arrived at the desk needing to pick something up. God forbid anything out of the ordinary happens, where you'll find yourself witness to the numb calculations of a person who could give zero fucks. There are plenty of extremely logical reasons for not having an automated pharmacy kiosk but this pharmacy stands as one strong point in favor of the benefits of removing required human interactions in public. read more

There's a reason this place has a two star rating. The pharmacy is the worst I've ever experienced. It starts with the girl up front who is rude and acts like it's an inconvenience to serve customers. Eye drops is all I had to be filled. It was called in at noon and still want filled at 3:15. Horrible service. Walgreens had a discount on photos and the girl who works there was too lazy to do her job that she just started making things up to not do the job. I was so frustrated that she waster my time and it cost them to trash more than 200 photos. I hope the manager read this because your employees are costing you money by trashing hundreds of photos let alone loosing costumers just because they are lazy or naive of how to navigate the Walgreens system. People please avoid going there for your own mental wellbeing. read more

I like this Walgreens. Very pleasant staff always greets you. Convenient. The only negative thing is the security guard in front kind of follows you around. I had never experienced that before but maybe it is location? I just moved to this area so not sure. I noticed the bath soap is under lock and key (Dove bath soap) so my guess is must have issues with theft, thus the guard. But the staff there were very helpful and nice every time I go. I try to avoid being there at night as I don't like being followed, its creepy. read more

The pharmacists are great the staff gets absolutely in no hurry I have been sitting in line on the drive-through for the past 25 minutes and one car has moved. I had one guy at the window asked for my identification I gave him my license and he literally squatted down to write down my address so that he could rest his arms on the counter. And absolutely in no hurry whatsoever. They are two main pharmacist in there that are absolutely phenomenal but help staff is absolutely unprofessional and has no worry whether or not the line is moving when it comes to drive-through. I had an awful experience at the Walgreens on Central Pike in Hermitage. Their store number is 5563. I was shopping there earlier yesterday and I believe I was racially profiled. I had my hands full of items and was going to the front of the store to get a basket and before I could even pick it up, the lady in the photos section (her name is Janette), yelled across the room "Excuse me, are you going to pay for that?" Pretty much accusing me of about to steal when all I was doing was getting a basket so I could continue to shop. So I complained to the manager and he apologized but I got no apology from Janette. When she was checking me out, she was still being very rude while the manager was right there. I have never had a bad experience at Walgreens so this is a first for me. I am very disappointed in how I was treated yesterday. No one should be treated like a criminal when they are just trying to do their shopping. Walgreens, you have just lost 3 customers because me nor my parents will be coming back to your store. Just awful! read more

This is the worst Wallgreens I've ever been to. The pharmacy assistants know nothing, take forever, and are not at all helpful. I was dealing with an insurance claim, called another pharmacy I had been using most of the year, and they printed up my receipts on the spot. This one said they could not print or show anything until I came in and presented ID. This has been the most difficult pharmacy I have ever used!!!! read more

This stores pharmacy is an absolute mess. Today I dropped off 2 prescriptions which they told me would be ready at 5pm. I went back at 6:30 to pick them up and they still were not ready. Told me it would be another 20 mins. Reason given - we are behind. No apology no recognition that they are providing healthcare. No notification even though my contact info is on file. What a disgrace. Time to find another pharmacy as this has become a regular occurrence. They are so big they just don't care. read more

This actually isn't a bad Walgreens. It's close & convenient so I go by there often. Always friendly people working upfront and they greet you upon entering. Normally not that busy, except on weekends, but most the time you can be in & out quickly. My only issue with this store is the Pharmacy. Majority of my interaction with any pharmacy staff has been unpleasant to say nicely. They seem like they don't care, they move slow AF (I mean, waiting over an hour for a damn antibiotic. WTF?) I am 100% over this Walgreen's location. The employees are not only rude, but highly disrespectful and need a lesson about profiling. Almost every time my husband or I visit this store, there is an issue. The only time I don't have a problem is if I am fully dressed out in my business attire. If he goes alone, we go together, or I am in casual clothes, they automatically act like we are there to steal something. I have had multiple instances. One time I was refused an exchange even though I read the return policy to them verbatim from the posted policy stating I could return the items. I had to call corporate to fix it. Today, my husband went to pick up my prescriptions. He is African American and was dressed in his sweats as it is cold and we just woke up. He entered the store and was the only person in the store with two associates. He said good morning to the cashier at the front and preceded toward the pharmacy. He got side-tracked on aisle 5 looking at the as seen on tv products. The next thing you know there is a page overhead stating customer needs assistance in ailse 5. My husband did not request this and was the only other person in the aisle. A gentleman showed up and asked to find anything and my husband replied he was fine. The man looked at him for a minute and stood there and finally turned and walked away. This is complete crap. Don't even try to plead customer service. The company obviously doesn't care, I have made it known before. I guess we will inconvenience ourselves and drive to one of the other locations a few miles further down the road. read more
