Given the level of service I received today, I don't expect Walgreens to be in business for another year. I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for a typhoid and yellow fever fever vaccine. When I arrived, I was told they were out of typhoid vaccines, and their system doesn't alert them of vaccines needed until the day of the appointment. So too bad for those of us that think we have an actual reservation. During the process of trying to find out how and where I could get a yellow fever vaccine the same day, the pharmacist was avoiding speaking to me to help rectify the situation. I now have to drive 15 miles to another Walgreens. Terrible technology systems and the poor customer service I received made the matter even worse. read more

I've been there like 4th time bcs close to my home but my experience when i buy stuff here so worst! The arab lady cashier very mean and rude! She always incharge in cashier i always met her, at 1st and 2nd she did the same but im still ok with that i think she's maybe tired or smthing but 3rd and moreee she still like that nasty! She's so racist! Mean! And rude! U supposed to be polite if u work in cust service or hospitality, if u have anger issues dont work in hospitality please! I think she's the one and only sorry arab lady work at cashier so u know what i mean "she". She force me to put phone number when i pay to the system but i refused her, and she keep force me to put it in, and i say NO! Customer service! Especially in the drive thru pharmacy area!!!! Don't even bother to call ahead to inquire about your medicine either. Arab lady is so rude and voice condescending it's ridiculous!!! I have strep throat extremely painful can barely eat or swallow. Went to urgent care and got a prescription sent here 6 hours ago. Was told it would be ready in an hour. Called three times and was told by automatic voice that it wasn't ready and someone would reach out. Called back again and finally got a person this time he was very rude and immediately cut me off while I was speaking. Said they were waiting on confirmation of insurance but again no one even reached out. Just unnecessarily been in pain for 6 hours. Definitely will be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I visited on Feb 17 and asked if I could get a covid shot. The clerk said not without appointment (which are never possible) suddenly a co-worker whispered in their ear that they had an extra shot and I received my first shot. They would not give me a second shot appointment but told me to go online and set a second appointment for 27 to 30 days later. I went on everyday looking for the second appointment and about 10 days out I got a chance but when I answered questions it told me it was too soon and try again. I continued daily with no appointment possible. On March 16th I returned and asked for my 2nd shot. The pharmacy attendee asked if I had an appointment to which I replied that it was impossible to get an appointment. I then told them I was going to take a seat and wait for my shot. About ten minutes goes by and suddenly a Hickory hills police man came in (yes they called the police on me) he went to the counter spoke with the staff and then came and talked to me. He was very professional and gave the staff my name and number to the staff to call me if an opening became available. He then said he would walk me outs I came close to being arrested. Late that night I received a call from a Walgreens telling me that Osco across the street was having a vaccine drive and I called and got an appointment for that Thursday. Long story short I am moving all my prescriptions out of Walgreens and I suggest every one else reading this does the same. read more

The pharmacy portion of this Walgreens might be the slowest I have ever encountered. Whether you are inside or in the drive-thru, expect to wait 10-15 minutes just to talk to someone. They always ask if you want to wait for the prescription or if you want to pick it up later. If you choose to wait, beware, as the wait time is always 20 to 30 minutes longer than what they say it's going to be. Additionally, if you choose to pick it up later, they say they will call you when it's done. On more than one occasion I have gotten a call that my prescription is done AFTER I've already picked it up. It's a pain to get prescriptions filled here. The store side is normally great. read more

Again and again and again as always this Pharmacy never get your medication ready on time does not matter how long time you give them and it's pills not made medication or mixed, you do it one day before you go the next day and they said give us another 15-20 minutes or come back like you have no work, and if you call to complain there will be your fault not even sorry. read more

Our doctor sent my daughters prescription to a Walgreens location that was closed. This location was the only one that was open in the Chicago area. I called and spoke to Mario and he transferred the prescription to this location, then took the time to double check that both prescriptions were transferred after he had made the request. Glad he did because one didn't transfer....he then had then both ready in about 1.5 hours. It made all the difference getting the medicine that night in the health of my daughter. I am very grateful that Mario was able to transfer it, that they had it in stock and were able to fill the order. Thank you read more

Have been going to this location for well over 5 years. Its always well stocked and has what I need. Sure the lines can be long but if the majority of people used some common sense and could see there is only one cashier doing their best. But no, it would be too easy to respect a minimum wage employee. The people who work there are awesome and shouldn't take nothing from rude customers I see every single time I'm there. read more

I thought this Walgreens was the worst, but it seem to be a trend with all Walgreens, the drive up pick up drop off line is usually 6 to10 cars long, with a wait time of 20mins or more each time, got tired of waiting in that line so I came into the store only to fine the inside line is 16 people long, one Walgreen associate working the counter, And noticed the Walgreens associate attending to the drive up window off to the side texting on her phone! Since they went automated, the system keeps kick out my subscription then The automated system sends me a text message stating nothing to worry about nothing to do there's a delay, they don't follow through with calling the Insurance companies for access codes to release the medications, it just get lost in the system then you call and by then the insurance company is closed and your without your lifesaving med until the next day hopefully the next day! After 30 years of being with Walgreens, I will no longer be shopping here for anything. Hey WALGEENS GET THE HUMAN TOUCH BACK!! Maybe I'll come back. You lost a customer!!! Sad and pathetic service. Redbox is conveniently at this location. I love how I can go to Redbox and it is on my way home from work.

You can get a RX filled anywhere but this Walgreen's is very well run with very nice people. Naomi in the Pharmacy is a great tech who has gone out of her way to make sure my prescriptions were properly refilled and called my doctor until my order was finally filled. It's the people at this place that makes the difference. read more

Worst Pharmacy I have ever dealt with at this location. They make you wait for 30 minutes to 3 hours for a prescription & don't want to fill scripts you need until it's convenient for them. I dropped a script off on Thursday March 5th & they said it will be ready today, Monday March 9th. I called to see if it's ready & they told me now that I can't get it until Wednesday March 11th. WTH, I need my meds. Thinking about going to Osco or Walmart from now on. read more
