Very slow getting prescriptions ready, usually hours. Staff is pharmacy are very rude and short when asked questions.

The pharmacy is understaffed and there is consistent confusion. Returning multiple times due to order cancellations and delays is challenging. While I am able to, imagine needing medication and you did not have the safety of being able to travel independently to the store each time, without consequence to either your work or transportation resource. Very unfortunate. Update: The pharmacy manager reached out and shared improvement plans, which is greatly appreciated. The absolute worst. Rx always messed up. Hold times over an hour. Still can't get the Rx right

This pharmacy is horrible. Always a long wait and prescriptions are not filled on time. There have been multiple times when I have arrived to pick up a prescription and was told it wasn't ready yet, even though it should have been. Never have I received an apology for the wasted time or not getting my medications in a timely manner. There is no sense of urgency from anyone. Disappointed for the last time. My wife was on hold for over 20 minutes to check status. No one ever came back to the phone. This is typical. A couple of weeks ago we waited in line at the drive thru for about 10 minutes. When we pulled up to the window it was 7:55 and as I was looking at the young woman she closed the window indicating they were closed. I went inside to complain to the manager and he told me he had no control over the pharmacy he said they determine when to close. I called the pharmacy manager the next morning and he never called back. Then this weekend they did not return my wife's credit card or drivers license. When we went back the next day to get them, they had either lost or stolen them. The manager Samuel insisted my wife must have lost them. Check the Google reviews. Slowest drive through of all time. The absolutely worst staff. Can't go inside rather, the line is around the store consistently.

Rachel and Jake are two of the NICEST and most professional pharmacists I've ever worked with. They are patient and understanding, let me ask questions and talk without being rude or cutting me off, even though I know they are busy. Rachel is also very empathetic and compassionate. I'm from TN but travel to Raleigh a LOT for work so often have to transfer prescriptions and Rachel has always made it the most pleasant experience. As long as my company has me working in Raleigh during the year, I will always use this pharmacy!! read more

I've had trouble with this Walgreens, but it seems like they're getting better. Hence the three stars. The biggest problem that I have with this and other pharmacies is that when they have a prescription on hold, they don't make it available in the app to be released. I must call every month to have my medication that is on hold filled. It wouldn't be such a problem if they had enough employees to answer the phone. I remember before the 2010's it was easier to get prescriptions filled because there was enough staff. I don't know if this changed because companies with a certain number of employees had to provide healthcare for all of them or because there were other incentives for companies to make cutbacks. The changes around that time and since that time have damaged pharmacies badly. In a time when Americans need more and more pharmaceuticals, these corporations are not allowing pharmacists to have enough support staff. When will Walgreens corporate listen? I feel confident that the staff at this pharmacy and others are trying to keep up with demand. It is frustrating for consumers like myself to arrive and stand in long lines only to learn that a medicine isn't ready, considering we remember when pharmacies used to have prescriptions filled so quickly ..... when they were allowed to staff adequate numbers of technicians and pharmacists. My husband and I went online and signed up for an appointment to do our shingles vaccine. We arrived and waited in line checked in and sat waiting for 10 -15 minutes . The young lady that checked us in informed us, after we sat waiting that they did not even have any shingles vaccine left that we would have to come back another time. Would you not cancel appointments or call us before we changed our entire day around to make our scheduled appts? Unprofessional , terrible customer service. Pulling all our prescriptions and business from this location. We have been a local here almost 18 years and this location has completely gone down hill. read more

Don't get a flu shot here unless you want to waste your day. Stood in line for 15 minutes with no one in front of me and had to ask them if I was going to be helped as they tried to help someone behind me. I'm 5'10 so I don't think I was overlooked. The staff (pharmacy only) have zero personality and they dress like filthy slobs. What happened to professionalism?? Go to Target and get a flu shot and a gift card. read more

WORST pharmacy. They never have it ready for pick up, ever. I even called ahead to see if it was ready. Surprising, nope. They said 45 mins. They don't know why it wasn't already done. We are transferring our prescriptions to Realo and you should to! Every. Single. Time that we have rxs sent in electronically by our doctor or our kids' doctor we have to call and spend minimum 10 minutes on hold before someone finally picks up the phone! Then they ALWAYS say they haven't been received yet! Only after insisting do they actually CHECK their queue only to be told it'll be at least an hour for ONE antibiotic. Today they dared tell me it would take 30 minutes. My husband arrived 2 hours later only for them to say it is STILL not ready. It doesn't matter which pharmacist or techs are working. This Walgreens is always a huge frustration and disappointment. They don't even deserve the one star... read more

Perhaps the pharmacy itself isn't a miserable experience but the tech I repeatedly spoke to was disinterested, rude, and told me I would be called when my sons medication was ready and I was not. He was again rude in person. I wouLd not rely on this Walgreens for your medication and I never will again. read more

I called the Walgreen's on Main Street in Holly Springs to ask a question, the answer of which is not indicated on the website. I was told by the Walgreen's pharmacy in Pittsboro that the one in Holly Springs takes expired prescriptions. I called the store and was told she did not know. She huffed and puffed in such a manner that indicated she did not want to help me. She said she did not know. I asked if she might find out. She said she was new and did not have any idea. I asked she ask another employee. She said no they do not take it when she returned. I told her the Pittsboro branch referred me to the Holly Springs branch specifically for this. "I don't see why they would have anything to do with this store," she said annoyed. She had said earlier she would check to see if there was a box. She returned and said there was not, and then said she could not get into the pharmacy because it had closed. I got the feeling she did not want go help at all. It is strange that a store I give much business to in multiple branches is so rude. This is a problem with hiring, management, training and store education/ information. Why is huffing and puffing in the store and speaking in a tone of annoyance acceptable? This rudeness is arrogant. So, should I just avoid this one or all of Walgreen's? If you answer the phone for a business why is it acceptable for a clerk to huff and puff annoyance at a customer? I do not want to be subjected to a clerk who behaves as if my question is not worthy attention. Stupidness of this clerk can be corrected. It should. I cannot trust a store that would place such a display of pigville in charge of answering the phone. read more

Every single Walgreens I have ever been to has been completely incompetent. Never in my life have I felt the need to write a review, however, I realized today they had completely screwed up my medications and gave me THE WRONG medication. This is actually dangerous and very serious. Taking all my business to CVS and I suggest anyone on long term, important medications do the same. read more

If I could give this pharmacy a 0 I would. I dropped my prescription off with two coupons. I specifically asked "Do you need these now or should I hold on to them?" When I returned FOUR DAYS LATER they still hadn't filled the prescription. They claimed there was a problem getting my insurance to go through but never called to notify me. Even if they fixed the problem that day they didn't have the medication in stock and never ordered it, so regardless I would have to come back for a third time. On top of all that they lost the coupons for a very expensive medication and acted like it was no big deal. This is the second time I've had trouble with this pharmacy in two encounters. The first time I called and had a long conversation about transferring my medications over but when I came to pick them up and needed my asthma treatments, they still hadn't transferred my prescriptions over. I had to wait another day before I could pick them up. Good thing I could sort of breathe... The worst thing about this place is that with all of their mistakes they never apologize. They act like they're gracing you with their service. I will NEVER go back to this location. read more

Terrible pharmacist. We have been going to Walgreens for over 5 years, despite incentives going to costco or harris teeter for our medicines. We went to our doctor for additional refills and the doctor has always prescribed us the same size of tub for our son's skin lotions; however, when we picked up, they gave us a much smaller (100 mg versus 450 mg) size. They insisted that there was no size in the prescriptions and they ordered the generic size. A couple of things, they could at the history and call us if the new order was somehow a much different size. Additionally, I called the doctor's office and the nurse said that the doctor prescribed the 450 mg explicitly due to the frequent use for my son's allergy. The pharmacist heard my complained, but he decided to have a snack. I will transfer my family's prescriptions to harris teeter soon. No wonder walgreens are closing. read more

I have been using this Walgreens for about 6 years and it has gotten steadily worse the last year or two. Wait times are extremely long and the customer service is poor. About a third of the time they tell me they only can fill partial prescriptions, which means I need to go stand in line for 20 minutes again in a few days to get the remainder of the prescription. These are regular common maintenance medications, that are called in days in advance. The techs that work there are either very inexperienced or just plain incompetent. I know it sounds harsh, but it's that bad in my opinion. I have seen/heard one young woman talking on the drive thru phone with who I assumed was just a friend who came to the drive through to chat. I watched and heard them chat for 5 minutes about what the were doing and where to meet up later that night. All this with a line of customers waiting patiently. She did not seem to care at all. Completely unacceptable! I'm transferring to CVS or Harris Teeter. read more
