They do not take mental health drugs seriously. They will not refill them when you've run out then give you the runaround when they can actually fill them. They tell you to call them but be prepared to wait for 1+ hour to get ahold of anyone. read more

the pharmacy there is horrible and the workers are disrespectful and unprofessional. my fiancee had been waiting on 3 of their medications for a month w this pharmacy and they kept saying they did not have the medication. when she finally called someone to help get her medication the pharmacists told the helper that they decided not to give my fiancee her meds because they didnt believe the dosage was right for her age (shes almost 20) and thats legally not up the them to decide. now shes gotten 2 of the 3 and the antidepressants she just got are halfway filled with only 30 capsules and its supposed to have 90 and have 3 bottles of each medication and theres only 1 bottle. they have been told twice now to give my fiancee her full medication and they havent. these pharmacists have been lying to her and neglecting her of her medication when she needs it. i do not trust a single worker there now and both of us are very angry with the service that has been so rude and unprofessional. read more

Whatever you do, DO NOT entrust your mental health to this pharmacy. I've been trying to get my psych meds, which I need to function, for five days now and it has just been one long runaround. They tried to send me to another location, which just sent me back, they never can seem to find me in their system, never recognize that this isn't in fact the first time I've ever been there, keep saying they're going to have my order ready and then when I get there long after it was supposed to be ready they have yet to even initiate the sequence of events they would lead to it being ready ... in short, if you need your meds, then you need to steer clear of this place. Hugely disappointed in their school supply choice. My daughter was looking for a huge binder for middle school and didn't like what they had at Target and Staples was closed so I thought about Walgreens. Just one small aisle of overpriced supplies, nothing even tempting. $7 notebooks? I went here for my passport pictures a few months back and the passport office would not accept the pictures because they were too dark. If I could give this Walgreens zero stars, I would. They just don't fill prescriptions whenever they feel like it. You have to call multiple times, only to be on hold for an hour, drive over there, and it's not busy at all. They just put "pending and being reviewed by the pharmacist" next to your prescription online, and it will stay that way for days to weeks. They don't answer their phone. They will tell you your medication will be ready in an hour, and 5 days later it still says "pending." I've had an issue with every single prescription I've picked up here for the last year. I ordered something for pickup from the Blake Road, Hopkins location. I needed to cancel as I got sick and didn't feel well enough to drive over. Tried to do an online chat to cancel but it wasn't actually a person and the message they told me they didn't know how to do that. Their online instructions said to call the store directly to cancel. I was on hold for TWO hours!!!! THEY AUTOMATICALLY HUNG UP AT THE TWO HOUR MARK. WHAT A CLUSTER F*ck!!! I'm guessing they all went out for lunch and cocktails!!! Called the store again and spoke with the manager. She didn't care at all and told me, "well, we get busy and you know, can't come to the phone". She admitted that they are at lunch and don't answer the phone from 12-2!! Their voicemail message should say that!! Absolutely PATHETIC customer service. Would never shop here again!!! read more

Consistently have issues with the pharmacy. Had prescriptions called it 6+ hours earlier and still hadn't received any kind of update. I called in to check my prescription status and was put on hold for an hour and half and then once someone finally picked up the phone, I was immediately hung up on. Drove to the pharmacy to get an answer and was told "they aren't ready yet, it will be 30 minutes." If you need your prescriptions, don't bother coming here. read more

Jon was so patient and helpful today waiting on three of us that needed help. I was overcharged on items I had bought the day before. One item that I went to pickup was supposed to be 3.99 online and price marked on shelf. I was charged 5.99. Walgreens always hires the best employees. My experience even before covid is that sticker price on shelf doesn't match up with the price rung up. Anyway the manager quickly gave me my refund. From now on I will check the price on receipt before I leave. read more

Unfortunately, the wait times for the pharmacy are insane. I had an urgent prescription called in- 5 hours later it is still not filled and 50 minutes on hold with "2 callers ahead of me". Numerous times I've received messages saying my meds are ready for pick up only to be told they are not ready when I arrive. Or that they need to get doctor approval. I contacted my doctor who verified they spoke with the pharmacist. Save the hours long wait times (I'm not being hyperbolic) and go somewhere else. 0/10 would not recommend read more

I had an emergency penicillin prescription phoned in on a Saturday evening. I phoned this location to check pharmacy hours, and the recording said the pharmacy was open until 11:00. Fortunately I got there at 9:50, because the manager told me the store was closing in 5 minutes. When I asked the manager to have the phone message changed, he said the temporary hours were on the door and walked away. If I had gotten there a little later, I would have had a infected toothache all night. This is beyond mere inconvenience! read more

This is my fallback Walgreens, as I usually hit the one on Cedar Lake Rd closer to home. However when I check online and find that the CLR store is out of stock on an item this location will usually have stock on hand. The store layout is similar to the CLR location so it is not too hard to find things in here. Staff have been friendly and I was glad to find a coupon for an item I was buying located on the shelf above it. This location does have a drive-thru to get prescriptions which came in handy when I was on crutches. The one downside to this location is the semi-shared parking lot with the gas station and White Castle and the ramp off of hiway 7 leads to the lot being very busy. read more

If I could give this establishment fewer stars I would. The only good thing about Walgreen's is that they're all set up nearly identically so you know exactly where you need to go to be disappointed. We went to the pharmacy for an antibiotic RX for my wife. They first told us they didn't have the particular medication we needed and then mocked us and laughed when we asked if we needed to come back in a few hours to pick it up. The lady behind the counter said with a smirk "no, more like a few days." My wife is pregnant and needed the medicine to start taking immediately so that no harm would come to our unborn child. When we explained our situation, they magically found two (2) pills of the medication that was prescribed. When I asked if we could come back the next day to pick up the rest, again they laughed and said something to the effect of "Yeah right, not during the holidays." Now I know the holidays are stressful period for all, but the employees should at least be respectful and professional. They then continued to tell us we could just buy the two or wait. After a few minutes of back forth, trying to explain our situation and the need for this medication was immediate, they finally told us they'd check other pharmacies to see if they had it in stock. 15 minutes later we were on our way to St. Louis Park, who's staff was much more professional and had our medication ready when we got there. Thank you to the lady at the SLP Walgreen's pharmacy, to the young lady and the gentleman that "helped" us at this location... well, go f* yourselves. P.S. It was only our knowledge of antibiotics that led us to being ok in this situation. If we had waited three days and trusted our pharmacy, which we should be able to do, it almost certainly would have resulted in the death/miscarriage of our unborn child. I am incredibly disappointed and though I've come accustomed to walgreen's over the years, I will most likely be moving my business elsewhere. read more

not a huge fan. the walgreens in mpls have slipped. the portland oregon ones are kick ass, open 24/7, let you read the mags for hours without giving you a look and are filled with freaky people. here they are a bit boring, poorly organized in my experience and always seem to be out of what i want. today they did have my deoderant- the amazing Dove ultimate clear cool essentials- but only two. i cant seem to find them and want to stock up before i head back to the uk. so maybe two is better than nothing. however a bit tricky was the one next to mine, essentially the same but "prescription level anti-perspirant." WTFFFF. it was 8 bucks instead of 4 something. tricky. i so almost got the new one and then remembered that i tend to sweat excessively in my moustache and forehead area and not in the pits, so maybe regular is fine until they make facial anti-perspirant which better come soon. shampoo/conditoner. yes, walgreens had it, but again, one only of each- though the stuff is pretty genius for the price (neutrogena triple moisture). again, some tricky business. under the price tag of these products it said that there is one dollar off with the coupon and then a picture of the coupon, to me implying that i dont physically need the coupon but that the discount is inherent with the purchase. not too clear and i should have asked at the check out counter. overall- it had no logical design, aisle/product wise. not a large store but you literally have to walk every aisle several times to find anything. eh read more

Literally the worst pharmacy ever. I was loyal for a decade, but switched because they never had my Rx in stock and would lose it while waited. I recently switched back because target isnt 24 hours and I needed something. This morning I had surgery. My dad dropped off my pain med Rx (and 2 others) at 12:00. At 1:30 my roommate went to pick them up. Turns out my dad dropped them off a mile away at the 7&hopkins crossroad location. But did they tell her that? NOPE! They made her sit around for over an hour for them to fill 2 of the 3 (they didnt even have the 3rd), instead of letting her just go get the already filled ones, while I sobbed in excruciating pain for an hour. They cared more about getting that $50 instead of their sister store than they cared about my convenience or health. Never again, read more

I fill prescriptions here. Each month it is delayed because they have to call my doctor then call my insurance. They seem to make it impossible to streamline anything or make it easy. I almost feel like a criminal going to this Walgreens because of the treatment the staff gives me. The assistant manager is worth noting. He will not help you. He will make things harder for you. Don't expect him to help customers in long lines either, he just stares at the computer like he's never seen one before. It is horrible going here. I expect inmates at a prison receive their medications in a similar fashion as the way this pharmacy staff treats customers. I've been uploading photos and having them printed at a Walgreens in California for my mom for about a year now. However, I usually have my own photos printed and malled via myphotopipe. Any who, I recently wanted pictures stat, and thought I'd send them to my local Walgreens and pick them up over lunch the next day. Bonus deal even, they were running a 10 cent print special, so instead of sorting through and pulling out what was really worth printed, I just sent all of the pictures I had from two recent events. Voila! The next day arrives, and I tootle on over to pick up my pics, and lo and behold their computer system is having 'issues' and I cannot take my precious prepaid order without canceling it out and having them re-ring it...which would be fine, IF I hadn't left work in a hurry and forgot to grab my wallet. Ug! So much for convenience! Fast forward a day...and yeah, I finally got my pics...and all is...NOT well in my world! All excited to see my treasures, I fling them open in the car (I mean, who doesn't, right?), and was so sad to see not only was the print quality poor, but the cropping left many of the pictures looking, well...awkward, and just really bad! Happy girl's smile turned upside down! :( Short story, short... fast photos + cheap photos = poor photos. Remember most of the time you really do get what you pay for! read more

After a long afternoon at Urgent Care I was not excited to hear my doctor had accidentally sent the prescription to the wrong Walgreens- which was closed. This Walgreens however had no interest in being of assistance. Rather than call the doctors line asking for the prescription to be sent, I was instructed that I needed to call- a process that took an additional hour of hold times and call backs. Thanks Walgreens for your customer service- it truly is unique. The effort to be so unconcerned with patient care has not gone unnoticed. I will be sure to wave on my way to Cub. read more

I'm a long time Walgreens customer. Went in at 3am for cough medicine for my family. While this is a 24 hour store, half of it was roped off for floor cleaning. The manager was rude to me and wouldn't let me retrieve the medication. The store shouldn't be open when over half of it is off limits and the manager should be respectful of all customers.
