Walgreens on Airport Rd didn't just sell me headache medicine--they rescued me from the brink of certain doom. My skull was pounding like a bad high school drumline, but within minutes of walking through those automatic doors, the angels in red vests handed me my miracle in pill form. The sign at the pharmacy should read: "Before you drive off, make sure you have your prescription, and the drug information sheet is the correct one!" I have gotten home 2x this month with wrong meds, and even someone else's medication. I hope they don't kill someone someday with their negligence. If an incompetent person is to work there, it should not be in the pharmacy! I am told, I am sorry for your inconvenience, I will write employee up! Most working people work 8am-5pm, this pharmacy opens 9am-6pm...with that being said 1) I can't get my medication on my way to work. 2) I work in a clinic so I have to wait until the last patient leaves to lock up and leave. Even when I do get the chance to leave by 5 when I get there the line is so long I have to wait. No big deal. right? Well I waited 25 min in line and it was 5:59pm literally just turned 6:00pm on the clock, hasn't even turned 6:01pm yet! and this women who was working the window looked at me, mouthed the words "we are closed" and SHUT THE BLINDS IN MY FACE. After waiting 25 min in line for my medicine due to having a horrible sinus infection that entire week. so let's even say "oh they close at 6, I get it." the customer service this women gave me was very rude and unnecessary. I went to the Dr. On a Monday, they couldn't get my medicine in for some reason. I went Tuesday and this is when that lady closed the blinds in my face. Wednesday I tried to go on my lunch and they were on there lunch.... So by Thursday I gave up. That was 2 weeks ago. On another note now today, I'm almost out of another important medication and have 6 refills left on it... asked for a refill and they have been sending me emails and texts saying to come pick it up (even got an email THIS MORNING) I try to and find out they are closed Saturdays and Sundays! Honestly the hours are just so inconvenient. Usually the employees there are super nice it makes up for it but that one week just ruined it for me... :( now having to change pharmacies. just frustrating. read more
