This was easily one of the most frustrating pharmacy experiences I've ever had. Not only was the medication not ready when originally promised, but even the new pick-up time quoted came and went with no medication in sight. After wasting time and patience, I decided to call my dentist and have the prescription sent to CVS instead. I've been depositing cash as Walgreens for YEARS bc my bank is far and it is simply more convenient. The cashier explained she could only do $500 to which I said okay thank you never mind. I then went to the Walgreens 5 minutes away and the lady there was more the happy to do my deposit over $500... so it wasn't that she couldn't do it but because she was LAZY and inconsiderate of my time. Terrible. My son caught a bug at school and went to the urgent care with a horrible cough and fever. When we went to drop off the prescription on Saturday morning, they said they didn't have the medication in stock (common antibiotic) but would order it and have it ready Monday morning. Monday came, called to check on it, Pharmacy picked up, asked if I could hold, stayed on hold for 10 minutes, got hung up on. Repeat Repeat Repeat Go up to the pharmacy, get told "we have no record that you dropped off a prescription." Then they find it, say oops, we didn't order it, but it'll be here and ready tomorrow morning. Tuesday came, called to check on it, Pharmacy picked up, asked if I could hold, stayed on hold for 10 minutes, got hung up on. Repeat Repeat Repeat Go up to the pharmacy, get told "we have no record that you dropped off a prescription." First of all they have false advertisement. The people there clearly do not want to be there . The manager was the worse one of all. Why put something on the app and say you can go in to buy it in stores not just via the website/app, if they won't honor it. Today is 09/20/2024 and I just left. The manager there was rude and clearly did not want to help, when as a manager he should actually help the customer and honor what the website says (which I showed him) , literally only taking a dollar off. Which obviously he could do, if he actually wanted to .However, it seemed like I was bothering him more than anything. My profession is to help people everyday in need, but I have to remember not everyone works the same. I still spent over 50$, money isn't the issue. This place has got to get it together-- especially the staff. The only nice person was the cashier-- she didn't even want me to waste money there. I'm sure if she could've she would've helped. Curbside pickup is no good. Online ads say it will be ready in 30 mins. 2 hours of calling corporate to see what went wrong with my order and they said they could see my order then connected me to the local Walgreens. The clerk there found my order too and say she would send someone out to me. 45 mins pass nothing. My patience is at a zero by this point but also too sick to fight or yell. I have been a loyal customer at this particular Walgreens for 20 years. Christine was very rude and demeaning today when I tried to make a return. The item has a guaranteed return, but she insisted she could not take the item back bc it was not in the original package. I said I would go get one off the shelf and she said the manager would have to get one off the shelf to make sure I bot it there. At that point I asked for the manager and she said I am the manager which really confused me and my sister. She had an attitude from the start and then told me to go to photos to wait on the manager. When I said I would pick up the item as an example off the shelf she said to let her and the manager discuss it and again "he would get one." Absolutely the worst Walgreens I have been to. They hire the worst employees that don't know what they are doing and lie to the customers and the doctors office. They call and say your prescriptions are ready and they aren't. They tell you 3 are ready via text then call and say 2 are ready and 1 needs doctor approval and also a lie. The worst place! The first guy I interacted with was very pleasant and helpful in the photo section. He told me to order my photos online and they'll be ready in an hour. I came back an hour and 30 later and the photo section was completely deserted. I asked a cashier to help me and she called for someone who didn't even speak to me, just started slamming boxes and stuff around. Then she left again. Some other guy that worked there came and helped a customer behind me and left. I just wanted to come and pay for my photos man. This Walgreens is pretty standard. But the thing that I feel most walgreens are missing is being personable. What I mean by this is : Hi how are you, Can I help you find anything, Did you find everthing okay. Its not kust this walgreems but most. Where is the customer service??
