Pharmacy lady super rude, she was helping a lady when I walked up behind, I waited about 7 minutes until they were done and than when she finished helping the lady And I walked up she said they were closed for lunch to come back and then she shut the doors in my face without letting me say anything or speak. read more

It has been two months since I left Walgreens to go to the Publix pharmacy across the street on yellow bluff. When I would pick up my rx from Walgreens there was always a 45 minute wait, they would lie saying I didn't have insurance and try to charge 100+ dollars for a $12 rx and they oddly asked me if I was pregnant or planning to get pregnant every time stating it was required question. Publix has filled my rx's a couple times now and never asked about pregnancy status, because Publix isn't aligned with tracking female pregnancies for no apparent reason like Walgreens, takes me at most 2 minutes to get and pay for my Rxs and the pharmacy staff are friendly, professional and supportive. Walgreens is missing the mark on so many levels. read more

The pharmacist there is very rude. I just recently moved to the state and "Mary" was a complete b on the phone to me about why I am filling my medications there now and not in another state. She has no customer service skills, it's a shame reading all these yelp reviews AFTER the fact this happened to me and Walgreens continues to allow these rude people to work here? read more

This has been my go to Wags since moving to the area 15 years ago. The store is fantastic...clean, stocked, with helpful and friendly associates. The prices are good and if you use their digital coupons and Walgreens rewards programs, you can save a ton on everyday items. If you read the reviews, the stores low rating is because of the pharmacy not the actual store. The pharmacy sucks, no doubt...go to CVS on Dunn or Rogero for pharmacy services but the store gets 5 stars. read more

The Pharamacy should receive 0 stars. I dropped my prescription off yesterday and was told it would be ready by 4:30. I returned around 5 and was told if I could wait a few minutes they were filling it. About 10 minutes later I asked again about the prescription. The girl apologized and said it would be better to come back the next morning. Now I'm sitting in the drive thru and it's been almost 20 minutes. I will never bring a prescription here again. read more

I hate to leave bad reviews but this is simply not the best pharmacy. They have denied me refills, left life-saving prescriptions on hold for weeks, and been incredibly rude to me and my family countless times. If you have important prescriptions, refill them at a different location that cares about your well being. read more

Definitely go to the one 3 mls away on N. Main this location is a complete joke! Th pharmacy that is... How because someone has a TN id there's "too many" inconsistencies for prescribed TYLENOL. So people traveling can't get a prescription filled out of state? Never have I ever!!! CVS would never. Walgreens on Yellow Bluff in general gives very good service but today I urgently needed to speak to the pharmacy about a refill. I called 15 minutes or so before closing. The pharmacy continued to pick up without saying hello ( I could hear them talking in the background) and I was put on hold and listened to them pick up without speaking to me over and over until the the pharmacy was closed at which time they just hung up on me. I could hear the background noise and voices every time they took me off hold but didn't speak. I'm very disappointed. read more

Do not use this pharmacy they are rude and treat people like garbage it's not just once it's every time. especially the pharmacist working today that answers the phone. I wouldn't dare refer anyone to them. Terrible pharmacy dept. Drive thru is a nightmare be ready to wait 30 min EVERY time, if you walk inside ... It's the same. Stand in line for 30 min instead. Half the time you wait in line 30 min and then get told your prescription you filled 3 days ago isn't ready. Long story short don't come to this location. read more

I would give this a zero star if I I could. Tonight, my doctor called in my prescription and I went to pick it up twenty minutes later. I have a cold, as does my husband and our 6 month old son. I waited in line for the same woman who works the drive thru every day to move at a snails pace yet again to pick up my prescription. After waiting twenty minutes for her To fill one prescription and answer one question, it was finally my turn. I get up to the counter, guess what. They didn't even input my prescription into the system. Here I am, waiting at 8:20 pm for them to do something they should have done an hour ago. She didn't seem to care to tell me to sit down and wait. I won't be coming back. All staff are rude as can be. read more

Walgreens - Hour number 2 on a prescription that was supposed to take twenty minutes. - Drugstores Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

This Walgreens is so slow when checking out the lines r always backed up with no back up cashier. The pharmacy staff is slow and not very pleasant I was on hold on the phone for 15 minuets before I hung up with 2 different calls into them at the same time. Called back still left on hold for another 15 minuets and I hung up again, I will be transferring all my prescriptions back to Walmart. Glad I wasn't in dire need this wasn't life or death. read more

The pharmacy's system has been down for a few days. I called the surrounding Walgreens and was told the Walgreens on Yellow Bluff was scheduled to open today, they are not according to the phone recording. It's common at that particular location to wait in long lines to pay at any time of the day. I decided to transfer my prescriptions to the new Publix. read more

If you don't mind waiting a really long time for your appointment time at the pharmacy then ALSO make sure you take a screen shot of your appointment confirmation, especially the code. They lost my appointment twice until I showed them the screenshot. Pity it's really the only pharmacy close by, it's horribly run. read more

This is a very convenient location for the area since there aren't any other drugstores in the area. You'll pay slightly higher prices that you would typically expect from a drugstore and the convenience that they offer. The checkout lines are hit or miss though. Sometimes you'll be in and out with almost no wait but other times you'll wonder why they haven't opened up the 2nd checkout line. This location has 2 Red Box machines which is very nice for a last minute cheap movie night in. The only problem with the location is entering and exiting the parking lot. It's definitely not easy depending on which road you need to get on to get to your destination. read more

We have used this store location since it opened. However, it has not been maintained over the years. It feels neglected and old. My last experience involved a customer without a mask come up while I was checking out and place her item on the counter along with mine and remain standing less than arms length. This customer was very loud and apparently knew another Walgreens employee and they began a loud conversation during my entire transaction. Instead of the employee guiding the customer away, she also stood directly behind me making it impossible to move away. I was attempting to purchase almost $200 in gift cards but it was difficult to talk with the cashier. I left in frustration and as a result, I now have to return to this store as one of the gift cards was not activated. read more

Ok, I'm gonna apologize now. I'm afraid it may be long. I have lived in this area for the last 30 years. Walgreens has been there as long as I have been in the area. That being said the pharmacy department ONLY has been less than adequate for a long time. The main part of the store is adequate. Can usually find what you need, it's a little overpriced, but you pay for convenience, I have no problem with that. Most recently called in refill, received a call back saying it was too early and would to wait until July 5 to refill. Sounds good so far, but wait for it. Called back on 5th for refill. No issue. Refill will be ready Saturday. Received auto call, "your prescription is ready for pickup". By Sunday, you are having pain and numbness in both legs. You arrive at Walgreen's at 1:10 pm and go to drive through since walking has become a struggle. You are told you have no prescription to pick up. You explain the process you went through to REFILL RX. (Walgreens pharmacy closes from 1:30 to 2 on Sat. & Sun. Only for meal break) Tech asked me to pull around so she could help the others waiting. I REFUSED. She stated the refill was not submitted and she would try to get it filled before meal break. It's now 1:12 and I had already been waiting and was notified it was ready. I didn't move. I went ROUGE. Simply saying " somebody needs to get busy, I'm waiting right here for it". RX was ready at 1:24. Amazing in only 12 minutes from start to finish RX complete. Now it's Monday, go to Dr about legs. Received new RX. Dropped it off at 10:30 am. Told it will be ready at noon. Drove home (4.8 miles) and remembered that I needed to call in another RX. Called, got auto line. Entered RX # including the 5 after the dash. Was told " someone will be on the line to assist you. Man came on the line. Told her I was calling in refill. He asked me the name of medicine, I told him and asked if he wanted the RX # He said no he didn't need it. Told me it would be ready by 12:42. I explained I needed it sooner and could it be ready at noon along with the one I just dropped off. His reply was yes we can do that. I arrive back at Walgreen's drive through @ 12:01. Well guess what? The one I called in wasn't ready and I have no refills on the RX. Yeah I did it again. I went Rogue again. I explained there are two refills. Explained that I spoke with someone and offered the RX # and had he took it he would've see, there's more than one script and there is one with refills. She too asked me to circle around. This time I did, I immediately called Walgreen's headquarters to file a complaint. OMG here comes the apologize, this is not acceptable. A manager will be in contact with me within 2 days meaning NEVER. It's now Friday and I'm still waiting. Drive the extra mile to anywhere be it another Walgreens, CVS or even God forbid WALMART. read more

This is the second time that the location at 12387 Yellow Bluff Road, Jacksonville, FL has claimed they did not receive a prescription from my child's pediatrician. And both times it was well past a reasonable amount of time for them to receive. It turned out both times that they did indeed have the script, but were too lazy to look through their received documentation. I am also noticing that the lazy person I spoke to on the phone most likely did not enter in my insurance info and told my wife today that our insurance simply denied coverage. From the looks of my paperwork, it seems they didn't enter my info correctly and were expected to verify my insurance info again today. I didn't see this until I got the medication home. This pharmacy is a joke. Do not waste your time. You'll probably end up paying out of pocket for medications that your insurance probably covers. Update 9/25/2017: Pharmacy employees straight up lied about submitting my claim and it getting denied. I called my health insurance and the Walgreens staff never submitted the claim. Nor did they bother to correct the information when I went to pick up the prescription. My insurance company rectified the issue. Now I have to drive back to the pharmacy to get my money refunded. read more

Walgreens - Bad Choice as in no choice ! Annoyed by the people behind the pharmacy counter. There seems to be zero sense of urgency when picking up prescriptions for both my wife and I. Today I will make my 3rd trip for picking up prescriptions. Now that my prescription insurance company dictates I must use Walgreens at (12387 Yellow Bluff Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32226) due to convenience. I will try to correct the disenchantment with this location of Walgreens by going to another location. If I find all Walgreens locations lack satisfactory customer service, I will change insurance providers to a company other then UnitedHealthcare. read more

This Walgreen's is the only drugstore in the area I live in and I'm thankful it's there but the pharmacy is just awful. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to pick up prescriptions through the drive through and end up waiting 30 minutes or more. At peak pickup hours (like after work), they have one person working both the drive thru and the counter in the store. They rotate back and forth between the two. It's absolutely ridiculous. I just spent 30 minutes waiting with 3 cars in front of me. When we finally moved up and I had enough room to pull my car out of line, I left. My husband & I are both disabled and can't stand in the lines inside. The other thing they did that really chapped my hide was they completely closed down the pharmacy because their computers weren't working. There was no pharmacy staff at all. It was just locked up with a sign saying why it was closed. My husband is a cancer patient and relies on painkillers. They filled his prescription and it wasn't until he went to pick it up that he saw the sign that the pharmacy was closed. They wouldn't even let him pick up his already filled prescriptions. They also wouldn't let us transfer it to another pharmacy so he wouldn't run out because you have to have the actual prescription and it was locked up in the pharmacy. If you're going to close down, have the decency to call and let folks know so they have a chance to come get their prescriptions. They left him high and dry. read more

My doctor called in a prescription for me on December 8. I went to the store to pick it up and discuss with the pharmacy staff that I knew that my insurance wouldn't pay for it but I had a coupon. They said yes, in fact your insurance turned it down but we will process it with the coupon. They said that it would be ready in an hour and that they would process my coupon. I left. They called me 15 min later and told me they didn't have the prescription in stock and they'd have to order it. Fine. I go back two days later because I hadn't heard from them. They said they had the prescription ready but they had no record of my coupon. I said you processed the coupon the last time I was here. I didn't bring my coupon with me. You need to go home and get it I was told. I went home and got it but they didn't have the prescription in stock- they never ordered it because it was insurance hold!!! I am keeping calm. I need this prescription. I have horrible asthma and I have to have it. I go back three days later because yet again I don't hear from anyone. I take my coupons with me. I stand in line for 15 minutes. There is one person in front of me. There are three people working in the back with one cashier. I wait and wait. It is finally my turn. They don't have my prescription. They never ordered it because it was insurance hold. I said I have a coupon. You were going to order. I was told "We have no record of the coupon. We didn't order because you are on insurance hold...." I said are you kidding me??? Who is your manager? I was then told "You can speak with our pharmacist but it will be a few minutes because she is busy." I am flabbergasted. I just can't believe the horrid customer service. I said forget it. I am going to start going somewhere else. She says, "Great! Well have a great night and be well." Are you freaking kidding me??? I used to love this pharmacy but about three months ago the entire staff changed and it has been awful ever since. I have had to order Imitrex for my husband and go pick it up at other stores because this one is out. It's just unbelievable. I will never go back. You have lost a loyal customer who picks up about 6-10 prescriptions every month. I have bad asthma and allergies and have been sick for about three weeks and I blame Walgreens partly because there is no reason I should have had to wait 8 days for a prescription. I am going to Target where they actually appreciate their customers. read more
