The staff at this store follow the lead of the Store Pharmacist in being kind, compassionate and experts on insurance that denies RX's because the Insurance Company's know 98% won't appeal.... But please keep this in mind: if the people who appeal an insurance denial have a 98% chance of getting approved (strangely 98% is the correct number for the amount of people who don't appeal and of the 2% that does appeal then 98% of RX Appeals are reversed and approved. But this Walgreens will do everything they can to help you! Even though over the years there's been new employees they are obviously trained very well and so caring. Walgreens should pay more to keep these pharmacy techs who often leave because a higher paying job elsewhere. Finally, if this Walgreens gets closed in the Corporate cutbacks, I have no idea what I would do (the anxiety of finding a new pharmacy is very stressful). The review is not actually on the store but the company itself. How come you no longer take reviews- do you really not value feedback from your public? Do you really think your public is confined to shopping at one location? And why is it you are so anti-people walking into the store and shopping with you? It just feels like you'd make it easier to reach out to you but every time I've tried, you come back with a message that says survey is no longer accepted or thank you for the feedback, but then they don't give you anywhere to submit it because they're having problems with their website?? ... Don't think they need my business anymore. They're probably happy about that since they are just not engaged with their public. Why make it so hard to actually submit any feedback about the situations you run into trying to use your website, trying to use your coupons and if you don't have a mobile phone, which I happen to, but it's just easier to walk into the store and pick it up, well then you're straight out the gate not gonna actually get anything ...because you can't use any of their coupons in store... from the phone? It has to be ordered on the phone and then picked up in store which makes no sense at all. So I can just take my business elsewhere and that's easy enough for me but imagine if 100,000 people all do that. Had been on the kiosk for an hour getting photos ready and right as I'm checking out the lady behind the counter tells me that they are out of the 4x6.. and then told me to go to another location tomorrow.. would not have been a big deal if I was acknowledged when I sat down.. but to wait until I'm wrapping up ? I was tasked with completing a last minute photo project to make small photo obituaries for the balloon release of my young cousin who passed away suddenly. I normally use the other walgreens in town, as they are closer to my home, but they were unable to print the project in the turnaround time I required. I am so glad I called this location, as the associate who helped me, I believe his name was Matt, helped ease my stress during an incredibly trying time. I have had prints with less than stellar quality before, but Matt offered to assess the quality and give me a call back if the small font on my photos were unreasonable. He put me at ease that the photo would be readable and appropriate to pass out. He also completed my order well before my promise time. I was very impressed and relieved to have had a smooth process during our time of grief. read more

This Walgreens is convenient to hit if you are staying in any of the nearby hotels. It's a little to far to walk - but it was about a 5 minute drive from the nearby Fairfield Inn & Suites where we were staying in Jeffersonville, IN. Your typical Walgreens drug store - good for toiletries, medications, snacks, beverages, reading materials, etc. We stopped in to stock up on some snacks and cold bottled water and beverages. read more

This is my go to stop when I'm traveling across the bridge to (usually) my sister's house and she asks me to pick something up. They have a decent selection of grocery items like quick frozen bits, chips, soda, some baking goods and snack foods for the most part. They are setup like every other Walgreens in the country and they have plenty of drug store cosmetics, hair care for when you're in a pinch, Hallmark greeting cards, gift cards and the run of the mill you'd find anywhere else for the sake of convienience. The employees during the middle of the day are generally helpful but if you need any assistance it can be kind of hard to find one nearby and on a couple of occasions they seemed completely clueless on how to assist me find something as a last minute present or need. All in all, they're good because they are right off of the 10th Street exit on I-65 but there is something lacking in the service of the employees that makes me happy I don't have to visit here too often. read more

Just like most Walgreens the restroom is small and private, available but not well known, however this one was locked with a code, after getting someone to open the restroom with the embarrassing code 12 over the loud speaker I found a filthy room, lots of paper on the floor next to the toilet and the over flowing trash can. Thanks to this establishment for having a public restroom but not convenient or clean. read more

While this Walgreens is usually fairly well stocked and operates 24 hours per day, the staff is completely unwilling to take any extra step to be helpful. For example, today I was told by Laura, the pharmacist, that she would not tell me over the phone what medication my doctor had called in for me because I "could be anyone". I offered to verify myself using information in my chart as HIPAA requires to give medical information over the phone and she flat out refused. On another occassion the pharmacist would not substitute two one gram viles for a two gram vile of a medication when they did not have a two gram vile in stock. They also would not call the doctor's office to request the substitution. However when I went to another Walgreens (the one on Broadway in downtown Louisville) they were happy to make the substitution when they too did not have the two gram vile in stock. On other occassions when I have asked the staff to look up pretty basic drug interraction information in their database they have told me that they just can't find that kind of information. So, I guess if all you need is a drug that they have in stock and you don't ever have to talk to the pharmacist on the phone this place is fine. If you need something more complex, like say the name of the antibiotic your doctor just called in, you might want to go elsewhere. read more
