Everyone here must hate their job. We have to call corporate at least once every two or three months. They are just so rude. This has to be one of my favorite Walgreens, which can be an odd thing to say. It just went through a reboot and got revamped. The renovation brought about an entirely new, Sephora style make up counter complete with an in-house cosmetologist. Their make up products are a bit more high end now, offering Boots and No 7 products. The tried and true drugstore favorites like L'Oreal and Revlon are still available, but they offer a lot of new organic and skin sensitive products for those of us with skin issues. There are also cotton swabs, mascara wands, and lip brushes so you can sample the make up. Everything is cleaned before use by the woman at the make up counter. I got a mini make over done one afternoon because I needed some new foundation. Walked out with foundation, eyeliner and some new brow pencils! The general Walgreens staff is very friendly and always knowledgeable about coupons and specials happening in store. I always feel comfortable having them help me locate something I need, and they are quick to ask if I need assistance. Overall, the best Walgreens in Kingwood, if you ask me! read more

Pharmacies have impacted health care in a negative way. Patients from hospitals are unable to fill prescriptions and pickup after 6 pm. The so called 24 hour pharmacies are far and few between. Walgreens used to be my go to because they opened early and closed at midnight. Now most of the pharmacies close at 6 pm. A disservice to our community. COVID should have the pharmacies open and staffed better. Next time you go to the ER, how would you like it if they said, sorry closed for COVID at 6 pm. See you 10 am tomorrow. Current business model will sink Walgreens pharmacies. read more

I had a good experience with the pharmacy. I went bye on a Wednesday evening around 6:30. The line wasn't too long, and the pharmacists seemed very organized. There was a nice balance between serving people inside the store and in the drive-thru lane. Some places will only focus on the drive-thru, which is super frustrating for the people who actually walk into the store. While my prescription was ready quickly and correctly, they didn't make me show an ID to identify myself. I could've been anyone who knew my last name and that I had pills ready. read more

I waited in line at the pharmacy for over 30 minutes. A lady cut in front of me and the tech saw and still said nothing. There was also a man at the counter with no mask. A whole group of managers saw him, as well as multiple pharmacy techs and a pharmacist saw him and told him nothing. This pharmacy says they are "committed to your safety throughout this pandemic" but this is a lie. Shame on walgreens. Never coming back here again. read more

It was Walgreens on Christmas eve. People were driving like maniacs so to walk into the store and have all of the staff be very chipper was a pleasant surprise. A lot of items were out of stock but they were doing a good job herding the masses and getting everyone in and out. I appreciate Christmas Eve workers. Somebody's gotta do it! And if you've gotta do it...its awesome you all can still smile about it and make our last-minute chaos a little less chaotic. read more

This is the third time that I've had my children's prescriptions sent here and they not have it. Instead of calling or automatic texting me to let me know they just don't do anything to notify me. While I wait all day thinking it must be ready, because we'll I assumed. A decent person would give someone a heads up right? We went to the doctor at 10:50 am yesterday his medicine won't be ready till 12 pm tomorrow. Seriously, what was the point of going to the doctor and getting a prescription rushed in right away only to wait. So I've been pumping my kid with advil and Tylenol because he's in serious pain. (I understand antibotics don't work right away or that they take away the pain instantly. I do know the faster it is in his body the faster it starts working it's magic.) The last time this happened when my kid had the flu they couldn't get me tamiflu till the next day. The last time before that it was medication for me that they couldn't get in till the next day again. They need to make it official if something isn't ready they need to go over and beyond to let the customer know. You're dealing with sick people and their children. How is it morally right to let a 14 month baby suffer? If given time I could have picked it up at another location? It's seriously bull crap, and shitty customer service. Oh and I forgot to mention the fact that they lost my son's prescription the time before the tamiflu incident. Also there pharmacy closes on Saturdays at 5. So if you're kid somehow managed to get sick on Saturday whatever you do don't send you're prescription here. You won't get it till sometime the next day on Sunday. So basically in conclusion don't give them as many chances as I have. I'm going to he switching pharmacies after I get my son's prescription. read more

The pharmacy here is horrible. It used to be fine, but these days it's unbelievable how irresponsible and dishonest staff is. I've had a number of issues getting prescriptions filled here for awhile, but the last couple of tines have been the icing on the cake. I'll never go to another Walgreens. Yesterday, my doctor called in a prescription I needed ASAP. He sat on hold for 15 minutes waiting to speak to the pharmacist directly to try and get it rushed through. They HUNG UP on him, so he called back and left the prescription on voicemail. Two hours later, still no medicine. I call them to see what's taking so long, and the guy on the phone tells me they already checked voicemails and there was no prescription for me. So, I get ahold of my doctor, who calls them back, only to have them admit that they had not checked the messages and my prescription was on there! They blatantly LIED to me, while in the meantime I am suffering. Two weeks ago, I went to pick up prescriptions, and they told me they were out of two of them, and had ordered them to come tomorrow. I told them, I need those medications TODAY, it cannot wait, and I will transfer my prescription to another pharmacy. The guy tells me to hold on, disappears for a few minutes, then magically produces the medicines that were in a box in the back. Once again, lied to, and was being denied medication I could not wait for. They do not care about getting customers' desperately needed meds to them in a timely manner. Not at all. It's truly disgraceful. read more

Everything I need right on the way home from work. The location is perfect so you can just swing in and make your purchases, then continue on your way. Sometimes a wait at the photo counter, but I think that's mostly because of low staffing at the location. This is one of my two frequent Walgreens stops. read more

It's your basic Walgreens. I usually stop in about once a week to pick up some of the advertised sale items. They almost always have what I'm looking for and even if something doesn't ring up with the sale price as long as you point it out they're more than happy to correct it (although it might take awhile to get a manager called over and everything sorted out). The employees are usually friendly and willing to help you find something. I would avoid the pharmacy though. I've used them a few times and it's always a big headache- to be honest though I haven't found a decent pharmacy in Kingwood. read more

Most of the people (not all) are very friendly. However, in the pharmacy, about 40% of the time they do not have the medications that we were prescribed. I feel like their medicine inventory is really small. read more

After having a severely unsatisfactory and time consuming experience at two different Walgreens stores photo departments in trying to get a photobook printed for my daughter and husband following the birth of their baby, I came to this Walgreens and told about my experiences, hoping they could help me. The store manager overheard and came over, offering to reprint the photobook for free. They went above and beyond and were very apologetic. In the last few days I've ordered numerous prints and enlargements and several collage print photo gifts on wood and they all turned out great and were ready when I was told they would be ready. I've ordered online and on my phone and have had no problems. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the Kingwood Drive location. read more
