Possibly one of the slowest Walgreens out there. Poor service, if any. A regional manager should probably replace the staff.

The renovation brought about an entirely new, Sephora style make up counter complete with an in-house cosmetologist. Their make up products are a bit more high end now, offering Boots and No 7 products. The tried and true drugstore favorites like L'Oreal and Revlon are still available, but they offer a lot of new organic and skin sensitive products for those of us with skin issues. There are also cotton swabs, mascara wands, and lip brushes so you can sample the make up. Everything is cleaned before use by the woman at the make up counter. I got a mini make over done one afternoon because I needed some new foundation. Walked out with foundation, eyeliner and some new brow pencils! The general Walgreens staff is very friendly and always knowledgeable about coupons and specials happening in store. I always feel comfortable having them help me locate something I need, and they are quick to ask if I need assistance. Overall, the best Walgreens in Kingwood, if you ask me!

He whispered under his breath while coming into his shift and passing me in the face mask aisle, and I quote, "damn she thick". I can't imagine what other kinds of harassment occur here through this man-child employee given that I was a CUSTOMER, and a loyal one at that (I've been a member at walgreens for the past 10 years at least and am considering never being a customer again after the discomfort I experienced today, the one day I went by myself without my husband... do better elders. grow up.

The pharmacy gladly ... well not gladly.... No one here seems to like their job.... filled 2 of them. The 3rd one they said it was the pharmacist's discretion whether to fill or not. Since when does a pharmacist override a Dr. on a prescription?? The pharmacist who knows ZERO about the pt gets to decide the Dr. is incompetent?? C'mon CVS.... Be honest. You weren't going to make enough of the almighty dollar so who cares what the pt needs!! No worries! New insurance & we will NEVER step foot in this miserable excuse for a pharmacy again!! Shame on CVS, pharmacy & store managers!! You really should be in the business of CARING about patients!!

I'll start with the fact that if you specify…read moreyou need a brand name in a medication, they will still continuously fill the generic because no one is paying attention to your file. I do not understand if it is just this CVS, or if it is whatever system CVS uses, because this used to never happen at the previous location I went to, but I have multiple medications and can NEVER seem to get them all filled on the same day. IT MAKES THE MOST SENSE TO COMPLETE ONE FULL CUSTOMER ORDER AT A TIME. There have been times where I'd wait till every one was filled and when I'd go to pick up some of them would have already been put back again. I have currently been waiting 5 days for my prescriptions that were all called in on one day. I have 5 of 7 prescriptions that are on autofill, and of those 5, 3 of them were not being refilled. One had even been marked as filled in the app but wasn't ready in store, and was never marked as ready for pick up or anything in the app. All of this leading to my last experience in store has me switching pharmacies. I went in to drop my prescription off on Tuesday at 1, was told they go to lunch soon so it would be ready at 2, went in after 2 and it still wasn't ready. The girl at the counter wouldn't even go talk to the pharmacist or ask anyone. Went in the next day around 4-5 pm and the prescription was STILL not ready. When asked on a time I was told "maybe around 30 minutes," and was then told that nobody took a birthdate on the prescription when it was dropped off. You couldn't call? Or look in my file since I've been going to this specific location since the Main St location was closed down? After I pick up my prescriptions I will be switching pharmacies and will never be coming back. I never thought getting my meds could ever be this stressful.

My nurse actually called HEB pharmacy before my discharge to insure all prescribed medications were in stock and would be available. HEB assured us it was all in stock and would be ready. That was at 10 this morning. Arrived at HEB pharmacy at 3 this afternoon and they had 1 prescription ready, but the rest would be ready within 30 minutes. Went back at 6:15 and was told 4 were now ready, and 8 were on back order and would be available in 2 to 5 days. Very serious as these were needed TODAY given my hospital discharge, which is why my nurse called them. Beyond aggravating. I don't know why they couldn't have been honest in the first place. And lied again to our face. And lied yet again a 3rd time. I do NOT recommend this pharmacy. AT ALL.

Regarding H‑E‑B Pharmacists, and their staff - All I can say is WOW! What incredible hearts!…read more Though I have so MANY wonderful things to share about the H-E-B Pharmacy (on Alabama & Dunlevy in Montrose) and I will get to that! ~ This review is in regards to Humble's H-E-B Pharmacy. With a medically fragile daughter needing her COVID Vaccination- I wanted to be sure she would not arrive at the pharmacy during their busiest hours. I went in to speak with the pharmacist (Jamie) to determine when the best time would be. I quickly shared that my daughter's health can be severely compromised if exposed to even the slightest head-cold. The pharmacist gave me some forms to fill out (standard for receiving the vaccine) and told me to bring those back when we came. She gave me her schedule (to be sure SHE would be present when my daughter arrived). When we went back, this pharmacist brought the vaccine to our car for my daughter. I was so incredibly grateful. But, it didn't stop there! When I phoned back to schedule the next vaccine - HEB's "Floating Pharmacist" took my call she said she would be happy to also take my daughter's vaccine out to my car. While explaining *why we could NOT arrive in the next few minutes, as there is MUCH to do, load, and prepare-for, in order to just BEGIN to transport my daughter safely, from house to car...THEN, there'd be the short five minute drive. With help from my daughter's nurse - We would, at best, arrive in approximately two hours. The Floating Pharmacist was scheduled to leave at that time. So, here's what happened instead! ~ This amazing lady came TO OUR HOME to give the vaccine, so that my daughter would not need to make the trip over. A couple of weeks later - It was time for the flu vaccine. I phoned looking for the Floating Pharmacist (as she had shared that she would be glad to come again). She was not in. However - Jamie was back, and said she would be doing an outside clinic in a couple of days (who knew H‑E‑B Pharmacists conduct "outdoor clinics"?!). She brought the flu vaccine to our home! When we are sick, and feeling bad - It's easy to become frustrated when our pharmacy (or anybody for that matter) doesn't move as fast as we want them to. But, slow down, and breathe. Understand that a LOT rides on these Professionals doing "a perfect job". Your life could actually be at stake if they rush through what they do. Perhaps... When we're sick and feeling bad - It can be just as easy to feel GRATEFUL for Pharmacists that take extra, individualized care, in the services they provide. Thank you Humble H-E-B. We sure do appreciate you!

3/2 Graveyard Shift (Drive-Thru Pharmacy, ~11PM)…read more This experience was unacceptable. I used the drive-thru pharmacy around 11PM to fill a prescription related to a documented work injury. At drop-off, I provided clear billing instructions to ensure the prescription was processed correctly under the appropriate workers' compensation coverage so that no personal insurance or co-pay would apply. The prescribing provider had also clearly indicated this on the prescription itself. When I returned approximately two hours later, I was charged a standard co-pay under my personal insurance. I immediately explained -- again -- that this was a work-related injury and that the prescription should not have been processed that way. The pharmacist then spent another 20 minutes looking for the billing paperwork, stating it had potentially been thrown away. It ultimately could not be located. Losing or discarding billing documentation for a work injury claim is not a minor oversight -- it reflects a serious lack of attention to process and accountability. At nearly 2AM, needing the medication more than a prolonged dispute, I paid the fee under protest so I could leave with what I medically required. This situation should not have happened. Work injury billing is routine and should be handled correctly the first time. Walgreens needs a review of overnight document handling procedures to prevent this from happening to someone else.
