A week after this place opened, I took her down and she fell in love with the place. Not only did she find all of the Estee products she loves, she found a lot more that she wanted to try. If we did not live 20 miles away, she would be here daily. As it is, they have been open a month and she's been back 3 times and planning on going again tomorrow.

Each time, the stylist has been overbooked and so a ninety-minute appointment for color and cut took well beyond two hours. Once, they did the wrong color. We thought we could solve the late running appointments by getting the first one of they day. Nope. That plan went sideways today. They just called to tell us that the latest problem is that the stylist is sick. This for an appointment that was booked three months ago. I understand being sick and I'm glad he chose not to come to work. The issue is that the salon is so fully booked that they have no one else who can do this until at least 4pm today. And with what we've experienced before, that means at least three hours of hole in our afternoon when we had everything queued up for this morning appointment. I think at this point, it's time for me to help Mrs. K. find a new salon. Thankfully, we don't have some urgent party or event this evening where the color and cut were critical. He said that he didn't have them but would be open to purchasing them. He's the owner, it was nice to know that he was offering the option to carry the items. He offered another item. I declined and left. I decided to return because I was looking for a shampoo brush. I called before visiting to make sure it was available. Certain items are worth purchasing in person without waiting for shipping. I also wanted to support a Black owned business. I entered and was pleasantly greeted as another customer was wrapping up and leaving. I asked about the location of the shampoo brush and easily fell into conversation with the lady working. She was very nice and conversational. She encouraged me to follow the company on Instagram. I would recommend this business and revisit.

I had never heard of this and I had certainly exeperienced ZERO symptons. They refused to perfom a normal cleaning. I drove directly to another dentist (who naturally for any new patient does every conceivable XRay and photograph of the patient's mouth.) I told them nothing of the experience 20 minutes earlier, to avoid them potentially getting on the band wagon and continuing the ruse! The Hygenist completed the cleaning and complimented me on the state of my gums and I then mentioned the earlier experience and she just shook her head and said it was clearly a money making issue. My wife also had work done a few months back and had a few crowns fitted. At that time she complained about tooth ache on a crowned tooth which the dentist stated would disappear after a while. Needless to say, she had to return and they had to perfom a root canal under the crowned tooth; double the time and definitley more expensive. There's no doubt this needed to be done before the crown was fitted. After these expereinces, I wouldn't recommend anyone to the practice.
