This Walgreens has to be the worst in Denver. It is setup to be helpfully and successful but falls short. It takes a solid 20 minutes to get ahold of anyone at the pharmacy no matter when you call. The drive through pharmacy is ALWAYS closed. And they often send automatic calls that prescriptions are ready, so you drive to this Walgreens, park, wait in a long slow line, and then there's a mistake and they don't have the full amount of your prescription or some problem precedes. It's insane. This place needs help. read more

No matter what time of day it is, I am always on hold with the pharmacy for at least 20 minutes. Even if there are not any calls ahead of me. What I need on a monthly basis can't be done through the app or with the robot that answers the phone. I literally rearrange my own work days around trying to get a human, who has been given the power to provide me with my medically necessary prescriptions, to acknowledge me. I've sat in rush hour traffic for an hour just to go to this pharmacy to find out what the issue is with my meds, because the app tells me to call the pharmacy to find out the issue. I'd give 2 stars because the employees aren't nasty like the ones in my hometown, but I'd rather lower this location's overall average rating on the off chance it motivates someone in charge to stop short staffing. read more

This store needs some major help, items are all locked up which is so sad but you can't get anyone to help you get anything. They often lose photo orders and double check your order (my card one for 60 cards had only the envelopes) and staff argued that it was right. I am baffled by how terrible this Walgreens is. It's actually very scary. Last month they closed for a couple of days in a row due to being so understaffed there was no one to run the store. Additionally the bathrooms have been out of order due to "Plumbing issues" for over a month. This is an extremely busy pharmacy and the patients wait in line sometimes for over 45 minutes and need access to a restroom while waiting for medical purposes. This is against "The Restroom Access Act" law passed in January 2023. The Restroom Access Act, also known as Ally's Law, is legislation passed by several U.S. states that requires retail establishments that have toilet facilities for their employees to also allow customers to use the facilities if the customer has a medical condition requiring immediate access to a toilet. I was recently denied access to a toilet for medical purposes. Now I understand the homeless/indigent problem as this is concerning with some using public restrooms to consume drugs or conduct illegal behavior in a public restroom, however this unfortunately affects patients like myself. Additionally, have been on hold for over an hour to talk to a pharmacist. Walgreens, please do better. This is not ok and what you're doing is illegal on the restroom issue. read more

I don't usually feel the need to create reviews, but under this circumstance, I feel that I must. I've already been in contact with the manager, but I'm awaiting a response. Today, my Spanish-speaking family suffered severe racism and almost an act of violence towards them from a pharmacy employee. I will not go into heavy detail as I've already reported this to the company, but I would like to forewarn anybody that goes to the drive-through pharmacy that Mihan, havs extremely disgusting customer service, and in the 10 years that I've lived in Lakewood, She has always been rude since she has started. The other employees are always polite and prompt, we've never felt the need to make a complaint as we are very understanding people. This person threw my family's ID, mocked them, and said she cannot understand them and told them to leave along with other racist comments. We have also had other negative interactions with her prior to this, and even in person in line within the store I witnessed her make a mother cry that was just trying to pick up medication for their child. This is not OK in any way shape or form and judging off her actions I don't think that is necessary within any company, especially taking into account Walgreens racial discrimination, and all inclusive policy. A lot of people take their jobs very seriously, and it seems she's taking her for granite and blatantly disrespecting the company along with the customer. I'm not sure if this is due to my administration, or personal issue or an act retaliation, but I will never return to the store along with my family. read more

Had some time before my meeting so I came in to get a lipliner and lipstick with my rewards dollars and coupon. Walgreens rewards program is difficult to understand but I didn't want to lose my credit so I came in to use it. They didn't carry the lipliner brand at this location so couldn't get that. Did get the lipstick and found another color in lipliner I also wanted. Store was bright and clean. Associate was ok. Not my favorite Walgreens but in a pinch it'll do. Parking was easy. read more

I was diagnosed with blood clots in both legs. Came in Saturday. The pharmacist was great. I will give him five stars, but we had an issue with payment because it was Workmen's Comp. so I had to call back this morning to find out the starter pack of Eliquis had been given away. The pharmacist was not in today, and whoever I talked to on the phone was no help. Very rude. Had no care at all about my condition. Will never set in the store again. read more

They never answer their phone, they usually have long lines, their staff is rude, and there are often delays with any prescription I try and fill. This review is for the pharmacy only. I have little experience with the store portion. I am not one to leave negative reviews either so it has to be monumentally horrible for me to feel the need to leave a review. The past three times I have gone to pick up a prescription, I have had increasingly negative experiences. First time, I arrived and the pharmacy was not open, even though the printed out sign taped to the front said they would be open well before the time I had arrived. I waited for 15 minutes as this was a time sensitive prescription and when staff did arrive, it took them another 10 minutes to figure out how to open the door. Second time, I arrived, walked in and back to the pharmacy, only to see a sign that they were only doing drive thru service that day so I walked back out, got in my car, drove around, and waited at the window for at least five minutes for someone to come. Third time, same series of events that resulted in me ending up in a drive thru line six cars deep that did not move for 15 minutes. I had to stay in that line for another 30 minutes because the prescription was for a serious medical condition and had to be picked up. It is wild that this is what customers have to deal with to get prescriptions. I have to set aside a full hour each time I need to get a prescription just to be sure I have enough time to deal with this insanity. Absolutely the worst pharmacy and store in general. They never have your prescription ready when they say it's ready! Sometimes takes days to get. Staff is rude and clearly don't care. The store has no shopping carts or baskets. So if you want to shop while waiting for your prescription (which you will definitely have to wait) you have to carry around your items in your arms. Thankfully, this is not the pharmacy that I normally have my prescriptions filled, but I had a Walgreens voucher from a medical group that is affiliated with the Army, that would allow me to have a flu shot. Annual flu shots are a requirement for all military servicemembers. I have gone twice in the past two years to have this Walgreens pharmacy administer the vaccine, only because it is the closest to my home. Both times I have made an appointment but had to wait well over an hour at the store. This week I figured I would schedule the appointment as early as possible, which was 9:30 AM Saturday, Nov 9, 2024. I arrived at 9:26 am only to see the pharmacy closed, but noticing several people waiting for the pharmacy to open. The pharmacy was supposed to open at 9:00 AM. I still waited until 9:45 AM, and realized that even if they opened at 10 AM, the number of people already waiting and the backlog of prescription requests would probably not get me my flu shot for at least two hours. I cannot wait 2 to 3 hours to be administered a shot that takes 10 seconds. Therefore, I left, and honestly, I cannot even think of ever coming back. Wow, we tried to have my son's prescriptions here while he is in college, but boy, after calling a half dozen times, and often waiting on hold for over an hour, we can rarely ever get through. We stopped in once when we were in town and no one could ever see us. I guess this Walgreens is just way too busy to provide good customer service. Walgreens deliberately and maliciously understaffs the pharmacy at this location. I have to wait in a line for 1+ hour every month because there aren't enough pharmacists to help everyone so the line gets super long and is slow moving. Usually I go to Ulta for my toiletries, but today I figured why not go to Walgreens since it was the best option in between 7/11 (gas) and King Soopers. Not knowing I'd be followed throughout the store for my entire shopping experience. Today I needed: Eye liner, mascara, nail polish, dry shampoo, face lotion, and flat iron protection. Which anyone who buys that on a regular basis knows, you got to see what's out there. Especially since I don't frequent Walgreens. What I think freaked management out was that I put the eye liner and mascara between my arm so I could pull out my phone out of my pocket and used my other hand to hold the two Essie nail polish colors I was debating on. The employee you sent over to where I was would have clearly seen that if she had turned around while standing behind me and saw I was comparing nail polish colors. This could have all been avoided. Then I went to the hair isle, where your employee followed me to and was looking at something behind me. Then to the facial isle where she came again and was looking at something behind me. Your employee, who followed me THREE different isles stood right behind me to pretend to be looking for something. Not only was that innaproperiate because I was wrongly being profiled as a potential shoplifter, but also because your employees should be at least 6ft away! I should have talked to the manager, but I thought maybe I was overreacting, but since this is still bothering hours later, I figured I'd let you guys know what you did pissed me off and made me extremely uncomfortable shopping there ever again. There is nothing illegal about holding something in your arm. When you are clearly multitasking. I used to work in retail, I know what it looks like to watch someone. You guys need to redo your loss prevention training. Which is what I'm going to recommend when I try to get ahold of your corporate customer service line when I have some more free time. What you guys did today was wrong and you're lucky I'm not someone who enjoys making a scene. I won't be returning to this Walgreens EVER. You guys really shouldn't be profiling people. The pharmacy hours are not accurate and bc of being short staffed they are closing early and on weekends but do not update hours or the phone line. Because of this and the fact that dr offices are closed on weekends, I cannot get emergency prescriptions that were called in to this location for my son who is struggling to breathe. Came in to get a simple prescription that was called in an hour ago. They said they just received it, and it would take 10-15 minutes to fill. I ran across the street and was back in 20 minutes. I was told it would be another 15minutes because their pharmacist went on lunch break. Now I have been waiting for over an hour to get my prescription. Well, as of right now, I have invested in entire hour of my Saturday and to picking up one prescription. Started in the line at the drive up window. Got to the front and they closed it. Then got inside and it was welcomed to another line. Spent about 30 minutes there, only to be told that the prescription that was supposed to be ready at 2:30 won't be ready until 330. If my insurance gave me any other option, you had better believe I would take it. Not the fault of the Frontline people. Apparently management is badly under staffing. Avoid at all costs. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I'm pretty understanding of the pandemic and the lack of workers, but if you are not properly staffed to handle a certain amount of appointments, then close the pharmacy or don't take appointments. I made an appointment for a COVID-19 test at 10 AM, arrived here at 9:50 AM and as I'm writing this while still waiting, it is 10:40 AM. Their policy asks you to arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment and to have all items ready that are required, but what they forgot to mention was that the wait was going to be unnecessarily and ridiculously long. I'm not sure how complicated it could be to grab someone's prescription or give a covid test to someone that they have to perform themselves. My doctor sent over 6 prescriptions to be filled as I had a stroke. My family picked up they were told all my medications however I discovered they didn't fill 1 . This is by far the worst walgreens i've ever been to. the lines are horrendous, at any point in the day expect an hour-2hrs wait. not to mention i ordered my prescriptions delivery to avoid this wait (which i have done previously at a proper walgreens no issue), they decide to send my prescription via DOORDASH( this should be illegal) what pharmacy in their right mind thinks it's ok to let random doordashers handle prescription medication?? anyways, i had 2 meds delivered and the doordasher only shows up with one. i have no idea where the other one is. i go up to the pharmacy, wait an hour to even talk to someone and they tell me there's nothing they can do because doordash lost it not them. they said i can either wait 30 days for a new prescription insurance will cover or pay out of pocket....for a medication i wasn't even responsible for losing. i argue with them reasonably for an hour before they finally decide oh it is their fault and give me my meds for free. i do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone and i am never the type of person to write reviews but i have had nothing but terrible experiences with this walgreens. i will be switching from pharmacy. read more

It almost seems that the WalGreens Corporate Guru's took a look at nearby Belmar and all of it's sleek Euro-Style and decided to "Level-Up". Good Job WalGreens Corporate Gurus ! The only thing missing from this store would be covered parking and shopping cart escalators- as seen in nearby Super Target. I must admit I also am a bit confused at the assortment of park benches configured at the entrance but am very happy at the overall upgrade and shopping experience over their now abandoned Sheridan location. The pharmacy has extremely long wait times , one time I waited 2 hours for a prescription pick up the line was literally down the street - on a regular day the wait can be anywhere from 5-25 min long which again is ridiculous- the pharmacy has horrible customer service when you are calling to check if a prescription is ready or not - they will leave you on hold for 20-25 min . Then when you arrive sometimes they will still have issues with the prescription even though over the phone they said everything was good to go for pickup . read more

Lol just don't go man. They're usually too understaffed to help everyone in line. The team there is amazing, don't get me wrong. The one star is for the company of Walgreens that runs their employees into the ground, doesn't give them days off, makes them work while sick so the entire pharmacy has to shut down.... It's just sad and I feel sorry for everyone working in this location. Personally I've had the best experience with each of the pharmacists and the people helping tend the window. Pay your people more, stop being a greedy company, and make sure you have enough staff to cover people. Sounds like a management problem! read more
